My outdoor cat is pretty badass, it hunts all day and it fought off a fox one time. Definitely a chad.

Its more like he has a bro from another species, that he helps out whenever said bro feels like being helped. Outdoor cats are cool guys

Who here hybrid indoor outdoor cat master race
>>
Anyone else became addicted to the smell of cat shit? I haven't emptied the litter box in weeks
>>
my cat is 100% indoor but he is not declawed, not afraid of dogs, and likes/doesn't mind water (he will just stand there getting wet if i spray him), also he has 2 meals a day not 3.
>>

Sometimes people just forget what cats were originally domesticated for.

Rodent extermination. That's why we have my cats, cats show up here every now and again and we feed them, take care of them, etc, but they decide if they want to live or die.

If they decide they stay inside the walls at night, they live, if not, then they die. It's simple. Keeping them inside is probably more cruel then letting them be free.

Allowing them to do their job isn't a bad thing.
>>
>>2500485
or you could use mouse traps instead of being a third worlder and letting your shitty pet kill every small non-pest animal in the vicinity for fun
>>
>>2500487
On squirrels, gophers, opossums, etc? Do you even live in a rural area? Having 3 or 4 cats is great. You don't see these things. They don't mess with your home or destroy your property.

Cats sometimes even scare off bigger animals. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LQoXmSrsL4

They also mark your home as territory, this may also keep away bobcats, etc. Cats kill snakes too, you know what would happen if a diamondback bit me? I wouldn't have a good day, at all.

None of this is for fun senpai.

I used to work this job where I got up at 5:30. A lot of dead/dying cats on the road at that time. They get cleaned up/hopefully rescued early in the morning, but I live in a small suburban town and I can tell you letting your cat outside is fucking stupid for it and you.
>>

Be thankful to have some wildlife. Im living in fucking austria, there are so many butthurt farmers and overprotective parents the best wildlife we have are some fucking deer and foxes. You wanna know how much wolves we have? We have 15. Fifteen. In the entire country.
>>
>>2500967
That's 15 too many
>>
This is simply not true. My fatass indoor cat got outside one day and whooped the shit out of an outside cat. Made the outside cat scream and poop all over itself.

I enjoy that they both seem unhappy with the situation at hand.

I call it "free range" kitty. He's inside when he wants, outside when he wants.

>Keeping them inside is probably more cruel then letting them be free
Agreed. Would you want to be locked inside your entire life just because it's a tad safer?

Why keep cats for that when dogs will do it better?
>>
>>2502104
No one with a lick of sense roams freely on other people's property.
All a cat wants is a secure territory. A yard with a cat fence or a catio let's it enjoy being outside, defend its territory, and keeps it from being a nuisance to others.
>>
>>2502301
This. Cats are bad at the job because they kill far more indiscriminately.
>>
>>2502104

N-n-no of course not... haha.
>>
I like all the bandicoots in the nearby reserve too much to let my cat outside.
