What happened now? Plus I thought he was done with Twitter.

Big fan of how whenever it looks like Cornette has finally won the title of most insufferable faggot in wrestling, Russo always pulls something out of the bag to overtake him. What a rivalry of nonces.

Do you have a loicense for the post, Ahmed?
>>

He is teaching character stuff and writing the TV for Rocky Mountain Pro there in Colorado. I guess some of the kids there know better than him.

Didn't Ol' Stone Cold get him a job at podcastone? How did he fuck that up already?
>>
>>4959444
He makes more at twitch/behind paywall now.
>>
>>4959444
everyone left podcastone for a reason - they weren't getting paid - something happened where a guy in management was pocketing the money and got arrested for it or soemthing
>>
>>4959443
Unironically stop being a mark and show some respect, bro. He saved the WWF's ass and is the reason Vince and Stephanie and Shane and Cunter aren't homeless right now. Stone Cold Steve Austin himself has credited Russo with helping Austin get over and has hosted him on his podcast many times. What the fuck have you done in the business or in life, snowflake?

Yeah bet he's just rolling in money from the 5 people who actually subscribe to his network and the 100 people who watch him on twitch.
>>
>>4959460
obviously he was one of the ones who was getting paid … cause he's Steve Austin

Konnan, Jericho, Jim Ross, Raven, Lillian Garcia all left
>>
>>4959471
Stop hatin on Russo, bitch. If it weren't for him pro wrestling in America would be dead.

Maybe if they knew how to draw dimes they would have gotten paid too. Lillian is a literal who, and I can't imagine even the most no-life having mark listening to Konnan and JR butcher the english language.
>>
>>4959460
Austin, Carola, and a few others are the only podcasts that anyone listens to on the site so they are still getting paid.

At least he's aware he's a piece of shit who deserves to be disrespected. But this is the hundredth time he says he's quitting the wrestling business altogether.
>>
>>4959742
is it a work?
>>
>>4959289
What did he see coming in TNA? What was the world he once knew? S-should I sign up to his podcast to find out?
>>
>>4959758
>What did he see coming in TNA?
That the marks were getting into the ring
>>
>>4959758
>What did he see coming in TNA?
By the time Russo signed with TNA he had already sank a major company and fucked over another, younger wrestlers and a even some higher-ups were weary of him, and according to himself he didn't get to book a single episode show on his own during his initial run.

When he came back a second time he was outright shit on by the crowds, they would chant "fire Russo" every time bollocks happened in matches. It was so bad that when he was brought back a THIRD time (because Double J really really owed him one), his involvement was kept secret.
>>
>>4959758
That the young guys thought they knew better than anyone else. All they want to do is be marks and do all the movez they see on new japan etc. and dont care about character and storyline and wrestling smart.
>>
>>4959812
Yeah, and look what they got from not listening to Russo, fighting for the WWE Title at Summerslam into their 40s while Vince is a sad bitter old man crying on Twitter because bingo halls don't want him around. That ought to show them.
>>
Vince Russo's dignity on a pole match
>>

Meanwhile casual audience gives fuck all about wrestling and WWE has 2.8 million niche mark audience left.

That isn't just what the marks in the ring want though. It's what the marks outside want as well. A bunch of "no character" young guys just sold out MSG, bro.

>>
>>4959737
Jericho hated his time in WCW, though.
>>
>>4959853
Meanwhile WWE is making record high profits. I guess the business really didn't need you after all, Vince.
>>
>>4959853
Who the fuck needs the "casual" audience what the hardcore marks are dropping serious dimes on the product? New Japan Western Expansion, ALL IN, G1 SuperCard, ROH selling out 3 9k arenas in a row, etc. WMEME may be dying a slow death, but the indies are exploding with popularity never seen since the NWA was still around.

>>

>his involvement was kept secret
Not only that, but once Spike TV found out Russo was secretly re-hired again, they kicked TNA off television. Russo is that much of a fucking cancer.
>>
>>4959883
How did he become so toxic? Stone Cold Steve Austin, the biggest star in wrestling history, literally puts him over as the genius responsible for the Attitude Era every chance he gets. People should be breaking down his door to offer him a contract.
>>

t. cornette
>>
>>4959872
If the main draw of wrestling these days is the wrestling style, it can only go so far before someone seriously injures himself (probably kills himself at this point) and they start to rethink how they work. Besides, I can only watch so much "Le dream match" wrestling. There has to be some substance eventually other than just the wrestling itself.

>>4959883
a TV writer did not cause network to kick off a program. Thats just Le Meltz narrative.

Don't forget the Hot Topic girls that are dropping massive amounts of money on Young Bucks & Kenny merch! Idol pro wrestling is the future!
>>
>>4959914
>Idol pro wrestling
Huh. I never really thought about it that way, but that's pretty much what the high-tier indie wrestlers are doing now, applying the Japanese idol business model to wrestling.
>>
>>4959907
Keep dreaming, kid. Injuries happen in wrestling all the time no matter what style you work. Rey Mysterio fucking killed a guy with 619. Nothing changed when Misawa died, so don't expect anything to change for the foreseeable future. I think a guy nearly broke his neck a month ago at a New Japan show and it was met with a collective shrug. There's no going back to shitty western 5 moves of doom/brawling WWE shit after you've seen New Japan Strong Style.

>>

This. They made 10 million dollars in just 4 months when their shirts went on sale at Hot Topic. That's more than T-Shirt merchant Cena.
>>
>>4959926
Don't be obtuse, these are just guys goofing off after the cameras stopped rolling, WWE wrestlers do this kinda shit in house shows, especially international ones, all the time.
