I'm planning on dumping all my merc dimes into a sandbox once I reach 15k dimes and covering it up a mesh net, with one part sand two parts kitty litter on top. I will feed the outdoor cats and put water and food dishes around the perimeter of the sandbox. This way nobody will go digging through dirty smelly cat shit sand unless they know something is there. But my closest neighbor is 3 miles away give or take so it is irrelevant. If I do use my merc dimes it will be to purchase indentured servants once things inevitably collapse.

Guys… premium for silver 100oz is up to like 7.2% above spot from 4.3% around a month ago at my favourite shop; it’s making me want to purchase a gold coin since they charge 3.1% above spot for that.
What do u guys think? Is this premium for silver still worth it, or should I go for gold?

I actually have a nice collection of weird ass coins. I even have a nazi silver coin around I was certainly not planning on getting, it was gifted to me on a big transaction of PMs some years ago. Also have a bunch of "dead coins", coins from countries that no longer exist or coins that have no legal tender value even their home country because the country changed currencies.

That's good, I can take the rest of my wages for the year and buy more gold. It doesn't matter what they do now, they're too late and the death spiral is already in progress. They will have to panic cut early next year and after trump replaces most of the governors the rates are going to zero.

Kind of wacky to think that you can still gold coins for like a couple day's pay if you buy pesos, yet in the past it was a huge thing to have real gold jewelry, and it's even a big thing now. Bro, that's only a few thousand in gold you're wearing, it's not that crazy.
Of course I stack entirely silver now but I'm being tempted by pesos, picking up a gold coin for about 200 bucks is unresistable.

How do you know now if your bag of merc dimes is 100% legit? what if 20% of it is fake mixed with legit shit? Just any junk silver bag or purchase?

Look at the fake toonie epidemic in Canada. That shit is still in circulation, and the stupid ass government has to accept it as tender.

All it would take is 2500face of fake u.s 90% to make it into the united states, and relaxed boomer shop owners to take them in without checking, and then it gets passed around the country, stacker to stacker, shop to shop.

Shit is fucked

The increase in price has now "made it worth it" to fake junk silver. People don't think to check junk silver for fakes. People always check any 1oz or heavier, coins, bars, anything gold.

Fake generic 90% and 80% is a untapped market for scammers, and its gonna fuck everything up. This isn't just about key dates or numismatics anymore.

Junk is for schizo preppers that fantasize about society collapsing along with the dollar so we'll go back to bartering with neighbors over a basket of eggs or an hour with their daughter. Bullion is for realists that want a tangible asset for when the dollar collapses or to pass on to their children. >Junk is for schizo preppers
That was the boomer retardation for it, some people like collecting old coins and silver coinage is never gonna be made by any government again for common circulation.
I like to collect + stack at the same time, so some gay buffalo rounds that are "optimal" don't do it for me, I'd rather be 1% less optimal and just buy junk coins of a whole bunch of different types that all have historic significance.

I do like sovereigns but they're so incredibly sub-optimal that they're not worth touching, so the choice is between junk and rounds, and rounds just generally have more cringe designs, a higher premium, and no history.
>>
>>61318529
70 cents.
>But they won't accept because you just gave them .492 ounces!
Junk is like 1/2 of the silver available in the USA and if they won't accept it they won't accept any silver. If you're in a barter situation you're in a situation where prices are subjective already, anyway, so this entire thing about being .02% off isn't real. You're trading at this point without using USD and nobody's gonna care about 2% if they're trading you in some alley deal.

This is financial advice.
I'd put 1/2 in PM's and 1/2 in the stock market, yes, 1 million in precious metals. Absolute worst-case scenario if PM's crab for your entire lifetime you're insulated from any wacky economic things that happen. With that much spare money I'd probably do something like 80% silver, 10% gold, 10% platinum, but you could even mix in palladium if you were so inclined for another 10%. Diversify among the PM's, you have the money and now you just need to protect it.

The other 50% I'd keep maybe 5% of it pure cash as emergency money, 45% of it invested in high yield stock market tracker with good historical performance, GROWTH stock, no dividend meme bullshit that just ends up being worse than plain growth stock.

You have for all intents and purposes “made it.” What you need to do now is protect it. And with everything over the fuck valued now cuz of inflation you would be a retard to put more than 500k into stocks or whatever the fuck structured products are.

First and foremost put 5% (100k) into chainlink.

250k split between gold and silver. Probably 70% gold to 30% silver

Get another house for maybe 500k or so off the beaten path somewhere in like northern Arkansas type area. Consider that home a sunk cost because shit will likely implode. Buy it outright.

1.2 million left.

I don’t know set aside 300k for fun. Then I guess put 500k-900k into stocks knowing you have enough of a safety net if the market were to eat shit you wouldn’t be too bothered.

do you have an accurate budget for your required monthly expenses,
does your monthly income cover that, and
how stable/predictable/permanent is that income?
If the 2M is truly sauce for the goose, then you may not need anything in the stock/bond markets. Otherwise work out what you might expect from a *stable* income and what your expe3nses might be, and fund the difference.
The rest... set some aside for travel (nothing is more valuable than experiencing the world), enjoy some NICE PMs (not young boys' stack blockies), live a good life.

the only coin there that's commonly faked by china is the peace dollar, and the fakes usually sell below spot.

I'd guess you're fine. If it helps any, china doesn't fake much junk aside from dollars and key dates. Most smaller coins sold as junk have almost no chance of being fake. Dollars and modern bullion coins and bars on the other hand are probably 10:1 fakes by now if ebay listings are any indication. Might be closer to 100:1 fakes to reals on ebay.

>25% cash
We're in a period of runaway global inflation with no end in sight, dumbass.
>25% stocks
We're in the largest stock market bubble in the entire history of civilization, dumbass.
>25% bonds
Everyone everywhere is reducing their exposure to bonds because of that aforementioned runaway inflation and the ticking time bomb of the stock markets that float every economy, dumbass.
>25% gold
So with this retarded 20th century portfolio you get 25% back from your 100% investments? Genius.

Jesus christ, anon. You've succeeded in posting the most retarded, non-trolling advice I've seen on 4chan in ages. This investment strategy may have been fine 70 years ago, and it may be fine again 70 years from now, but right now it's incredibly fucking stupid and embarrassingly outdated boomer "advice".

Boomer parents are far and away the dumbest, most unreliable people in anyone's life. It seems like every decision they make, either intentionally or unintentionally, fucks over their children. Never, ever, ever trust your family to make good decisions.
>>
>>61319208
Why so high on silver when it’s more volatile on gold, if you want safety go gold.
>>
>>61320716
In the UK and Europe do you think they will inflate and debase the currency like the U.S. or just tax their citizens to death?
>>
>>61320766
It's only volatile in an upward direction.

And you're a fucking clown if you think your any smarter or have any more power over anything.
You will suffer the same fate as every other generation your generation will get fucked over just like every other generation.
Who fucks us over?
The corrupt government, the IMF, fed banks, world banks, 3 letter agencies you never heard of, insurance companies, lawyers, the mega wealthy elite and the mega corps.

Wake up dipshit. This story is as old as civilization.
You fell for the identity politics koolaid.
The puppet masters with the actual power and control want the ignorant masses hating and fight each other just like you're doing.
While they flip the switches behind the curtain maintaining their syylf control and corruption that will continue to enslave the next generations while you sit here attacking your neighbor because the latest popular jewtube told you to
You need to sober up.

It's literally over but the only reason why it's over is because silver isn't dumping more. I need to slurp more cheapies but the kikes aren't manipulating the market hard enough.

My parents had a successful business, house paid in full over 40 years ago, no debt, not overweight, raised us right, and now we take care of them in their older ages as they took care of us when we were younger. We live a relatively comfy life. Quite the contrast from the average americunts story.

You don't hear the average American story you hear the typical bitter lazy entitled white incel loser story

He threw out also about 25-30k worth of tools, woodworking machines, vices, a collection of vintage well made steel hammers I lovingly refinished. my random collection of silver coins.

I didn't buy them as investment coins either, my grandfather left it to me in his will because he recovered them during a scuba diving trip from a shipwreck. so it was almost all sentimental value, with some monetary value.

When I asked him about my tools he said "oh all that rusty junk?"

but my Dad is useless, told me my investment ideas were stupid when i said buy gold in 2005, when I said buy bitcoin in 2010.

Didnt listen when I said not to sell Grandpas house either because that went up in value an absurd amount also.

Atleast i dont hit my children like boomer parents did

Love your mom, she gave birth to you, but don't take her financial advice. She is just following an algorithm that worked in the past, but is no longer working.

The US Dollar is inevitably ending it's life as a reserve currency. Holding dollar denominated fixed interest savings is now very bad financial advice.

Ask her to watch the followng video, it may help her understand.
