I followed in Georgie's footsteps and started using my Facebook like page as a mini blog, I really like how it's going so far. It's so much easier to update and you get a ton more post interactions.

I hope more gaijin gyaru start using their public pages as mini blogs, since we don't have crooz. We are all on Facebook anyway.

Man, I wish my SO was into gyaru fashion.

I'm a gyaru noob / lolita lurker, but I remember back in the day gyaru's would wear cute tropical print or Hawaiian styled stuff, and it was super cute. Like a surfer or islander gyaru style - anyone have pics of that or know what I'm talking about? I feel like it was early 2000s...

As for the questions-

Fave brand- Cocolulu
Fave piece- probably this tshirt, it's just really bright and looks good with everything
As for tropical coords, I normally think of some summery outfits for when I go camping, but I do more of a surfer/beach bum look as amekaji goes more that way.

>>

Ganguro is kind of an outdated term- that style died out towards the end of the 90s and the makeup and hair weeb as elaborate as kurogyaru style which is what you're seeing in that pic.

Who inspires you in the gaijin gyaru comm, galgulls? It would be nice to make a list (maybe put it in the OP) so new gals/lurkers have an idea of people to follow to see western examples of different followers.

Hi, I'm not new to J-fashion, but I am new to gyaru. I feel a little lost as to where I can start. Is Gyaru Amino a good place to lurk for more information and inspiration?
Am I better off somewhere else?

Amino is very newbie-friendly and their group chats are very active, I recommend it. You can also look at the list of insta profiles above for some ideas of people to follow for different styles. If you want to follow jp gals, the gxlbible blog has a good list (can't link here)

You've really got the style and make-up down, it looks good. One nit-pick would be to add more volume to the top of your head. You have a high-forehead to begin with, and without a fringe it sticks out even more.
>>
>>9526611
High foreheads look really cute. Hers isn't even massive, pretty average to be honest.

But I may want to see you with a fringe someday, maybe a wig? For a style change or something. That'd be so nice. I'd like to see you in hime
>>

Yeah I do have a bit of a fivehead, my hair was bigger earlier in the day but the weather was hideous.

Does anyone else in here do para para? It seems like it's not as big a deal in the gal comm as it used to be, but I really love it. Just wish I had local gal friends to practise with and make videos! My best friend is into it (though she's not gal), but she just had a baby so she's too busy to meet up and dance regularly. Sad times.
>>
>>9536540
I'm on off practicing different paras, but I'm so bad at dancing and if my mom sees me practicing she'll always laugh about me. I mean, I started to understand what she means after I once took a video of it, I literally dance like hinezawa and it's horrible. So the web may never see me dancing parapara
>>
>>9536540
Chris the para maniac here! Two years ago I only had 1 other local friend who was still as hyped about it as I was, and with some hard work its now a group of 8-10 regulars and many of interested members, we practice once a month, and keep gathering new members through convention workshops.
If it's your passion, just keep trying, you will find your people sooner than you think!
Where are you from?

OP - Not sure who that is. I honestly have next to no knowledge on Gyaru, I only do EGL and have been getting into Mori, thats why I'm reaching out to build a panel of people who know about their specific substyles and can look at who's submitting things and say if its actually anything worth anything... Rather then having a pleb submit a panel or for a booth who just started learning about whatever fashion because of a crappy click-bait article with no vetting.

I'd rather outsource and find people who really love their substyles and talk with them to get what's wanted by their communities rather than skim the surface with what I can find from a few google-searches and fuck it up guessing. What would you say are some good gyaru basics for a normie who wants to get into this fashion? Items mostly, but also things to know. I've been into larme, but it's a bit too tame for me. I like how you can have blonde, curly hair, wear animal prints, and be less conservative with gyaru... I've hardly picked my own clothes or cared about fashion til recently, btw, so sorry if this sound dumb as fuck.
>>
>>9540243
It really depends on the substyle. It sound like you like tsuyome, so here's what I would recommend:

-curling iron/extensions/curly wig/half wig
-short shorts, either denim or animal print, or even both
-d.i.a belt
-some stick on deco stiletto nails to try out
-a range of leopard print, blingy, or generally flashy tops- again, d.i.a is queen
-chokers or big flashy pendants
-hair flowers, feathers, or other flashy hair accessories
-a couple of cocktail dresses
-some strappy heels
-knee high or otk boots, platform or stiletto
-fluffy leg warmers
-diamond lash upper lashes- glamorous eye and angel eye are good
-some spiky or feathery lower lashes
-circle lenses
-self tanner, fake tan, dark foundation etc

Most of the above isn't necessary as such, but it's a good foundation for the style.
>>
What style of gyaru is this?
I've been trying to pinpoint what the girls from super gals wear and Ran is just baffling me.
>>
>>9540301
Basically, get the makeup, hair and accessories, as well as basics like shorts and shoes, then lurk the fb sales for tops, dresses and other stuff- gyaru resells a lot cheaper than most other jfash so if you're a seasoned sales stalker you can build up a small wardrobe quite quickly. Just make sure you buy stuff that goes together, don't mix different animal prints at first etc
>>
>>9540304
The clothes are like old school ganguro, but without the makeup.
>>
>>9540306
that's what I was thinking too, but wasn't sure since she's constantly roasting the ganguro girls throughout the series
>>
>>9540243
Oh, also, the hair and makeup are the most important thing, so make your way through a shit ton of tutorials- gyaru makeup feels really weird and ott at first so make sure you practise a lot. You can find a lot of tutorials on Tumblr. It's also worth joining the gyaru Amino, people are really friendly and you can get a lot of help.
>>
>>9540304

In the beginning the shiguya kogals felt threatened by the ganguro who usually came from lower level schools and tried to take gal to extreme. That's why there is this on going battle between ran who is shibuya gal, and the ganguro squad. Also there was a competition between the shibuya gals and the ikebukuro gals
>>
>>9540306
So what I mean is that the fashion came from shibuya gals and developed before the ganguro came
>>
>>9511278
I've never been into gyaru clothes and styling wise, but my god do I love their 'gives no shits' attitude, it's more punk rock than a lot of darker alt fashion and subculture you see about.

looks good! My only suggestion maybe is to consider not taking the black liner right to the corners of your eyes and taking the white shadow a little further along the lower lid. You have quite close-set eyes and doing lower eyeliner like this only emphasizes it.

You definitely have the make-up down as other anons have said, but sometimes it pays to tweak looks just a little but to suit your features.
>>
>>9525939
Don't go out and toast yourself on sunbeds in the middle of the day. The best way to do it is to be patent and build up your tan slowly. Keep wearing sunscreen with a medium spf and build up the tan my spending time in the sun, avoiding the times when the sun is at its strongest.

Don't use sunbeds if you can absolutely help it, they are much worse for you than building up a tan outdoors.

This is the best way to do it to protect your skin. Please be aware though there is still an increased cancer risk. Also tanning will cause premature aging if you do it regularly. Genetics aside, being very cautious about sun exposure is one of the reasons Asians often look relatively young.

Another tip is to only go for a light tan in the safest way possible and then use a bit of bronzer on your face in the areas you would naturally catch the sun. It can give the impression of being more tan than you actually are. Just don't overdo it. You can also dust a little on the tops of your arms and thighs.

You can also probably get away with using a foundation 1-2 shades darker than your skin tone but for the love of god, blend it well and make sure you don't look orange.
>>
>>9540476
Come on, some silly Japanese fasion of "trying to look like a Japapenese girl who's trying to look like a trashy western girl" is not worth of premature aging.

You can avoid damaging your skin entirely by using fake tan. Use moisturiser on dry areas like kneecaps and a good quality mousse tan. build up in small layers to get a natural finish. That's the safest way. Or you can use gradual tanner which activates the tan without the sun. That gives you your actual tan colour, when I use that I do one layer on one night, making sure i clean it off the palms of my hands. I wait for it to develop and do another layer the next night, and so on. I'd repeat for about 3-4 nights for a very dark tan. This actually makes you more photosensitive so you need to wear suncream when you use gradual tanner. I'd mix the two for an extreme tan.

I don't fake tan anymore these days, but really sun damage isn't worth the cancer risk or the aging which happens much faster than you think.
>>
Is it even worth it to be a busty gyaru? I really struggle with finding tops and dresses that will fit my bust size (34DD), and I'm admittedly pretty frustrated. It just feels like everything in sales groups are too small for me. Does anyone feel my pain or have some tips?

You don't need to buy Japanese brand to be a gyaru. Damn, if your make and hair are on point you walk into that gypsy or turkish shop and get the trashy leopard prints over there.

This was just advice on how to get a light tan, hardly extreme. I do agree though that not actually tanning and using fake tan is obviously the sensible, saner way to do it.

Hey anon, I have that same chest measurement and I find that tsuyome brands are more forgiving to larger chests. I basically wear d.i.a. exclusively for my gal coords now and I don't normally have a problem. In the attached pic, I weighed like 190 so my chest measurement was something like 41 inches but that top still fit well, and now that I'm back down to my normal bra size 34DD it fits very well.

I will say, you should probably get comfortable going braless unless you can find really cute, non padded bras. At our size the padding only makes the fit much tighter and more uncomfortable.

I find that agejo and himekaji brands cater to smaller chest measurements so if that's more your style I suggest looking for things with shirring or finding suitable off brand items.

Any recommendations for a good gradual or self tanner, then? I shower often, exfoliate everytime I shower, and have no AC at home so I'm a sweaty mess. Those are all things that ruin self tanner, and I don't have the time to bother trying to reapply it every single day and wait an hour for it to try. I've tried two kinds (jergens and banana boat) and disliked both. How do gyaru tan? Tanning beds?
>>
>>9546920
Oldschool gyaru used to use tanning beds and/or apply shitloads of fake tan and just not shower (o-gyaru). I don't think sunbed tanning is quite as popular these days. Maybe look into Japanese tanning products? I mostly use sunbeds, but I think Garnier Summer Body is a nice topup- the effect is noticeable overnight and it leaves your skin feeling, looking and smelling great. Right now I'm experimenting with topping it up every night to see if I can build a deep tan without using the sunbed anymore.

op here, I'm seconding >>9546936 who said they use garnier summer body. I can get quite an intense tan with that, minus any actual sunbed tanning. I'd completely avoid any palmers gradual tanner, it has the most disgusting fake chocolate smell on earth that stinks for literally 48 hours on your skin and after an hour just smells like burned plastic.

As for showering, do it after showering and then go to bed. that way you're reducing time spent moving it around and stuff. After a bit of practice it was just a 10 minute routine before bed. It does continue to develop into the next day but if you dislike the smell or the fact it can be a bit sticky (like moisturizing your entire body) then shower it off in the morning. It doesn't need to be perfectly dry before you put some clothes on, but i'd put down an old sheet on top of your nice sheets because the tan can stain a white sheet sometimes, especially if you're doing it gyaru style.
>>
>>9546920
You should get St Tropez Self Tanner, it's a bit more on the expensive side but doesn't look as shitty.
They have a very dark tanner where you only need a little bit of compared to drugstore brand.

What kind of exfoliation do you use?
Best is to get an italy towel, scrub yourself properly and apply moisturizer, then shower the next day without moisturizer and apply the tanner. + Everyday moisturizer and you'll have a flawless tan.
Only need to do this once a week too
>>
>>9548320
wow wush i could do that but as a poledancer I'm not allowed to use moisturizer or spf on my body

Can I get some coord help please?

The first outfit - I got the poncho recently and want to coord it for a winter meet, but I'm a chubby fuck who doesn't own anything blue so I'm going to alter the plain dress with the bows & lace & buttons in the style of the pink La Pafait dress. Also looking for better boots in a matching colour but these are the sort of thing I'm looking for. Not sure on the gloves.

Probably going to take the buttons off the cardigan for the second outfit and replace them with something less eye-catching.

Apparently a whole load of well-known European gals have flaked on Galfest... it's really pathetic how few people actually care about supporting events like this and promoting the style. Yeah, on Facebook- most things get posted in Sekai no Gyarusa. It was a lot of fun, come to the next one! We try to have a big international event every year in Europe. This one was in Eindhoven in the Netherlands
>>
>>9571459

Did anyone else notice the deafening silence when jojo's nominations got announced? Not a single cheer, even from the other Regals present. Awkz.

>>
>>9570200
me and my friends are not well-known but this was the worst possible date, there are a million other huge established festivals on this weekend AND it's the time were most people travel/go on vacation

there used to be a great German one that died due to the planners being huge drama queens. but yes, blame the other gyaru...
>>
>>9572004
Which ones? I can't think of any.
Besides, every single day there is SOMETHING happening in the world, it just means that gyarufestival wasn't as important to you.
>>
>>9572004
Agreed with what other anon said. Go or don't, but don't make excuses and then claim that events are important to you. If you don't attend events, we don't have them in future. That is how it works on the most basic level, so the true diehards will go to events as much as possible.
>>
>>9572004
Are you talking about the winter gyaru meet in Germany? It wasn't held this year because the organizer is busy with other stuff not because of drama. She had organized it every year by herself just this one year she got help. The intention of the meet up this weekend was also to replace the missing one in winter.
>>
>>9572864
She did not organise this meetup. she was not even there
>>
>>9572902
Yes I know. My explanation was weird. I was trying to say that there is a big meet every year in Europe and this time it was in summer in the Netherlands organised by someone else. The meets in Germany didn't stop because of drama.

>>
>>9511278
Alright, serious question. I've been trying to figure it out for years and I just can't get my hand on it (I'm not a gyaru myself obviously):

What exactly makes gyaru? I'm not trying to offend (and I might have just seen bad coord because I have no clue how to even tell something is gyaru), but all I've seen seems to be ganguro, normal looking girls and girls looking like Las Vegas strippers. I just can't find the connection, or a definition that is not being really vague about what makes something gyaru and not another style, and I'm serious curious.
>>
>>9581752
Basically, gyaru has taken on a whole variety of different looks through its history, and there are two 'branches' of gyaru- those following the first generation Shibuya gals in glamorous, feminine styles, and those following the later Ikebukuro gals in sexy, wild styles. Those two branches in the history of the style are how it has managed to produce such a variety of looks- the common root would be kogal, the schoolgirl look with the blonde/brown hair and loose socks.

neojaponisme has a GREAT blog series about the history of gyaru, and Japanese Schoolgirl Inferno goes into it a little too.

The elements that have survived from the very beginning of gyaru, which you will find in nearly all substyles, are these:
>coloured hair, usually light, not always blonde but rarely black
>glamorous/dramatic eye makeup with enlarging circle lenses and long false eyelashes, usually both top and bottom lashes, often lashes and shadow are used to create a new eye shape
>glamorous face makeup featuring contouring, highlighting etc
>an overall 'glamorous', 'extra', larger-than-life look- when you see japanese gyaru in the flesh, they really turn heads regardless of their substyle
>distinctively styled hair, often with extensions and a lot of volume
>decorated nails, often acrylics, ranging from cute feminine designs to huge claws with plushies dangling off them

Those are really the only common features I can think of right now, the variation across different styles of gyaru is crazy.
>>
File: goshikku example.jpg (12 KB, 236x354)
12 KB
12 KB JPG
>>9581833
Most people would say that the hair and makeup are what makes a look gyaru as opposed to other styles- if you look at something like goshikku gyaru, it's differentiated from regular goth or vkei by the distinctive hair, makeup and nails, and an overall feminine/glamorous look.
>>
File: agejo example.jpg (61 KB, 395x702)
61 KB
61 KB JPG
>>9581836
Most gyaru substyles have a root in a Western or international style, for example:

>california girl -> kogal and amekaji
>beverly hills princess, paris hilton -> hime, agejo
>goth, rock, skater -> rokku, goshikku
>00s trashy christina aguilera style -> tsuyome
>hip hop -> b-gal, ora-ora

Then some looks such as onee and himekaji are inspired by more everyday, less extreme Western looks.

The big exception are the extreme tanning styles like manba, ganguro, banba and kurogal- these really don't have a Western root at all, they're not inspired by black culture or anything like that, it's just an extreme style that came out of wanting to scare pervy salarymen away back in the kogal days.
>>
>>9581841
Are you retard? The tanned styles were the first and those were absolutely inspired by 'tanned california girls'. At least goes for kogal and ganguro.
With yamanba banba manba and so on it's true, they're an extreme version
>>
>>9582124
No friend, I am not a retard, I just apparently know my gyaru history a damn sight better than you. Pick up a book some time. Alternatively, try reading people's posts properly so you don't make a fool of yourself- I clearly referred to kogal and the extreme tanning styles as separate things.
>>
>>9582124
i thought the tanned banba/ganguro were the girls who wanted to look like the rich kids with brandbags but couldn't afford? I assume it is true when you saw the difference between angeleek and other circles, angeleek members had money
>>
>>9582430
Yep, that's exactly how it was-the original generation of shibuya girls were kogals in expensive private school uniforms with brand bags etc, the working-class girls started to follow the trend and that;s where all the extreme get wild be sexy stuff comes from.
>>
>>9582299
It's still gyaru, so I don't see your point. Like it's the beginning of gyaru
>>
Also, since when was kurogyaru a substyle? I thought it meant gyaru with tanned skin? Isn't the style people normally say is gyaru just tsuyome gyaru?
>>
>>9582846
Kurogyaru is like BDia style, it's the dark skin but also the fluff, feathers, loud colours, huge hair etc
>>
How come no one talks about the GGA this year?
>>
>>9586449
most happened in real life, like how jojo got no cheers and how funny some of the videos were. Or ow georgie seemed uncomfortable with having to say thank you so many times.
>>
random but did any Japanese gyarusa ever have feuds with one another? Are there any receipts of drama between different gal communities in Japan? I really want to read/watch some drama!
>>
>>9582124
that anon doesn't know what he is talking about. you can tell the thread took a wrong turn with the bro posting.
the tan skin was the start of a new trend. one based on cali and black girls. its suppose to be fun and dangerous.
>>
>>9586799
When bdia only started a few years ago, all the real gyarusa would hate them.

Then, in 2015 or so there was a rival unite of bdia for a short time with only white skinned gyaru.

But I don't know more than this. I bet that back in the days there must've been lots of drama among all the small circles all over Japan. If we take in concern that the average age of the girls must've been around 16-18 than I think everyone should be able to imagine the massive amount of drama
>>
>>9587134
now there is some stuff with GeNEX and how a lot of bd girls are leaving to enter the new one and the other way around.
>>
>>9511404
whats your page? Id love to follow it! Im new to all this myself <3
>>
>>9587272
You don't seem to know much. GeNEX is the sister circle of BD, just like QS used to be their sister circle until the last leader fucked up. Actually GeNEX members are recruited via group chat to enter bd, but they need to meet special requirements. You can't.join BD if you weren't a QS/Genex member before unless you're gaijin or already very popular on sns.
>>
Hii ~ im new to gyaru and have a question.
i read a lot of stuff about this style(s) online.(tumblr, bloggs, scanns). and i like the agejo and hime style. what im asking myself and wanted to know is: when do i know that my style is gyaru? or when can i call myself a gyaru? what i see when i look trought instagram/scanns that most gyarus have make up that is focused on their eyes and have "big hairstyle" that fits theire style. i am right with that?
and if someone have ideas for hairstyles, that works with a receding hairline that would be also nice(its not much, but enough that i can't even style bangs, with out it looks awkward.. and right know i dont think that a wig a thing is cause most are shit and the good ones are too expensive at the beginning).
>>
>>9587304
just a cheap aliexpress lacefront is good, or one from a black hairshop.
and yes, our stle is mostly based around hair and makeup. But also that the style in general needs to have a "cool/sexy" feel to it
>>
>>9587304
For both these styles, especially for hime the big hair is a necessity and can easily be achieved with prisila wigs (for the beginning you'd need 2-3 of them which'd be like 100$ or so). I'd stay away from 'cheap wigs' because they also will look cheap if you've got no idea what you have to search for.

With the makeup you're right
>eye focused
>fake lashes upper and lower!
>nose contour (though with hime and agejo it doesn't need to be heavy/too obvious)
>bright lipstick colours in the pink spectrum (at least for the styles you choose)
>>
>>9587307
>>9587344
Thx for the help so far ~ i think i focus myself first on the make up, cause i dont have that much many right now and have du save up a bit for the wig. ~

>judging an Asian fashion style and labeling it as Problematic American Thing
>because murrica is all there is
>Latino, white and black are the only ethnicities
>what are cultural differences
>>
>>9588580
>Being of a different race and culture gives you the license to be racist, "its okay as long as it ain't a cracka doing it guiz!!"

You're no better than the SJW tumblrinas who try to justify Islam & its modesty and polygamy rules for women as not being sexist just they think most Muslims are Arabs and therefore its a 'POC religion.'

Racism is racism, sexisim is sexism, doesn't matter which ethnicity its coming from.

For the record I also think non-asians attempting 'yellowface' are also gross racists, yes even if they're black.
>>
>>9588587
It's not as much it's not racist if it's not a white person doing it, more like their culture is different and doesn't have a history of black face so painting yourself black doesn't hold the same weight.

You're still judging them from a murrica perspective and acting like ethnicity is the only factor when it isn't

You mean the fact that its meant to emulate the image of the 'loud and hyper-sexualized African American' as a direct rebellion to the ideal Yamato Nadeshiko image?
>>
>>9588744
Not true , if your not from Japan you don't know anything about the true origin. That's just America interpretation of it. Nothing about ganguro screams black people don't flatter yourself. If anything ganguro resembles a witch. If you think ganguro imitates black people you dumb asf.

that's why jfash is dying out. to many no vision wannabes. really focus on yourself and the vision. if you do that your self esteem and dress will improve. most crazy jfash comes from America. whether its Europe via usa or straight usa. no Japanese tailor is going to make you these clothes-they don't want their names on this-wasting fabric. so the first had to come from some wear.

amino is worth it, sekai no gyarusa is on facebook, but most nowadays just add everyone on facebook and talk on private posts. the fact that our com got smaller made it very personal
>>
>>9589332
Him/Her don't have a source just sprouting bs. Some sjw troll just trying to start something.
>>
>>9589752
There's hardly any communities left, except for the facebook page anon mentioned. Amino is a good site for reading blogs, but some gyaru don't update as much. The community decline since gyaru is not mainstream anymore.
>>
>>9589996
what are you talking about. gyaru isn't that old. you are just spouting off nonsense. go read up on it. you just sound stupid. japan isn't korea. japan has had tv and army bases way before any other Asian nation.
what to you thin gyaru is? to you its not based on the west and its not female rebellion so what is it?
>>
>>9590429
too many idiots. >>9590425
doesn't even know where gyaru comes from but is spouting bs.

A sunkissed tan =/= extreme tanning like ganguro, manba, yamanba, banba and kurogal. Kogal and ganguro are on different levels. Kogal is very clearly inspired by cali looks, ganguro is where it starts to break away into its own more extreme look (not just the tan but the platforms and contrasting white makeup, that doesn't resemble any contemporary US look) and then by the time you get to yamanba it's completely its own thing with very little influence from outside of Japan.

It's really a bit worrying how many anons in this thread know nothing about the history of gyaru, and more worrying how they try to cover it up by making up complete bullshit. Just go read up on it, it'll take like ten minutes of your life.

Here's Buriteri, the queen of ganguro and EGG's early darling- you can't honestly tell me this is an American-inspired California Girl look.

I've done a very thorough write up on the history of gyaru if anyone's interested.

Gyaru and ganguro are not interchangeable. While “slight” tanning was very popular among early 90s gyaru, extremely dark skin was typically exclusive to ganguro, it’s iterations/evolutions. Neojaponisme explains how most “yankii” or sukeban (biker-gang girls) eventually became gyaru by the end of the 90s which caused gyaru to move away from it’s “roots” and into more rebellious forms such as ganguro. The roots of gyaru being kogals or kogyaru from the early 90s. “Most early kogyaru [were] coming from the top private schools”, were wealthy and most likely a part of the “burgeoning generation of rich kids who hung out in Shibuya, [who have] spurned this designer-driven approach to fashion, preferring a laid-back preppy vibe.” When lower middle class girls adopted kogyaru trends they “tanned themselves a much darker color and colored their hair in silver-y streaks called messhu (from the french mèche)”, eventually adopting “platform boots [which] bucked the traditional idea that women should be diminutive in both attitude and physical size (Namba 2006).” So when ganguro came into the scene around ‘99 or so, they were trying to break away from the yuppie-led kogal style from the early 90s and rebel against cultural beauty standards such as light skin and a generally demure manner (see the yamato nadeshiko trope for a good description of the ideal Japanese woman). As is often the case with youth fashions like this, the look becomes more and more extreme as followers try to differentiate themselves from one another.

>Former Editor-in-Chief of egg said “The source [of gyaru style] was surfer clothing and accessories, but then people who would have been called yankii a decade ago mixed into that. Gyaru style is the clothing of a certain type and also a reaction against society” (Namba 2006).[x]
The Ganguro B-style that focuses on hip-hop is almost certainly cultural appropriation and misrepresentation,

The person who started it said where it was from. She said color like a black entertainer and the clothes are american. Are you european? Stop making up bs wiki's. A wiki can be edited by anyone. Jfash as we know it is an interpretation of different things by japan people. The japanese are a creative and stylish people. Stop trying to put you spin on things. They have told us where lolita, harajuku, and gyrl come from. All your disertations wont change that. The fashion is dying in the west cause of people like you. You cant see whats in front of you. So how can you co ord.
Japanese girls still wear the clothes they just dont include us anymore. Probably has sonething to do with how oppressive some of you can be.
What type of research is a wiki anyway. Wiki isnt a source. Lol.

I don't really ever post anywhere expect my personal Facebook and I don't even post my looks there lol
But I brought back the pink hair so I'm gonna try more heavy looks soon

Obon is tomorrow but I don't usually do gal make for that but who knows what I'll do

Recently I've been trying to figure out how to work new trends with a 2011 kurogal look and it's been interesting, though hard because most of what I own are office clothes now. How do you all incorporate this season's/year's trends into your looks? Or do you completely buck whatever is new for a 100% old school look?

*except, sorry mobile posting

You are so beautiful! Is the pink hair a wig? If so where did you get it, because it looks amazing.

You can try to add a flair of kurogal in your office clothes, like the picture I've attached. You can add chains on your blazer, and it depends on your job dress code.

People comparing Udoli and gyaru but was Udoli ever a thing? The only Udoli I know was Glee and she was Udoli for about 5 minutes. Looked like it tried to be a thing but nobody cared.

Gyaru never excluded black people so there was no need to create an 'alternative' there was even a black gyaru group on Facebook back in the day.

What even is udoli?
>>
>>9595407
Some wannabe trend probably made by an African American weeaboo. From what I read it was basically a bunch of African animal plushies, head scarves and anime all meshed into one. I only found like 5 images of all the supposed styles most of them from the same people.

Somebody made a wikihow page http://www.wikihow.com/Become-an-Udoli
>>
>>9595395
All I remembered is viivi ming was a member never knew glee was apart of it. Df glee was in every trend, would explain why she backstab viivi on her blogger.
>>
>>9595395
what even s this. From what I read it sounds really forced. like "i dont wanna be a weeb and want to stay true to my roots" and instead look like a pretentious weeb
>>
>>9595516
That's exactly how it looks and screams 'we're getting left oooouuutt!'.

Like I'm not gonna lie, some of the ideas sound cute but it's basically just 'Let's get all the Asian subcultures we can think of and add zebras and lions!'

I think the same thing. I mean, she lived in Japan so she had no excuses really when all the shops are just round the corner from you.

Also, I wonder how (even though sometimes they're clearly too tight) she manages to get into the clothes? Her boobs are huge and she's not exactly stick thin, but I've seen girls who appear smaller than her complain about how they can't fit into Japanese clothing?
