>Stellure's Songs still postponed (One Step Ahead has to be reshot)
They already reshot it and said it would be released within the next week or two. Oh and everyone has new wigs, pic related.

>Venus leaving Aurora Idols
And speaking of Aurora Idols, they just released... this.
https://youtu.be/VAQ2yCYGDM0

As for good news, Honey Hime's new song will be released on the 20th, and Galaxy Girl Paida was given an opportunity to go to Japan because of her singing! I adore them all and wish them all the best.
>>
Is it just me, or is it hilarious that a song titled "One Step Ahead" would be postponed? Although, I'm sure someone's already made that joke before.
>>
anon from the last thread. my love live group didnt get into the ikkicon idol festival. im pretty sure its a rigged system
>>
>>9714940
maybe but you were probably the 10th love live group that applied
>>
>>9714944
that shouldn't matter. we are new and cons never give us a chance. i thought that was the point of texas idol festival
>>
>>9714940
>>9714994
It’s never been said that’s the point of TexAiFes. That’s literally not the point and if you’re that salty over not being picked as a group - ESPECIALLY when you’re a Love Live group which has limits due to how many there are - shows your actual colors. Do you want to perform at a con? Then do what a lot of groups do: perform in a hallway. Or better yet upload to YouTube and then try to get ready for cons. It’s not Milky’s fault or anyone else’s that nobody wants to give a nobody group a chance. If you suck then that’s on them. It’s not like it’s a paid gig so get over yourself. You AUDITION for a reason. It’s not a free for all.
>>
>>9714994

Just do better next time. Don't point fingers at the event being unfair, because there is most likely a logical reason you didn't get in as the other anon has said. Even here in the UK people get turned down all the time because despite being a tiny little island Love Live groups are a dime a dozen.
Create more content to give yourselves a better chance to be selected, submit that material when you try to get a place so you have a better chance. It's hard to get started, but for the love of God don't have a tantrum over it. It's all meant to be in good fun.
>>
>>9715107

And variety would be nice. Why not do Akb48/Idolmaster/WUG! But there is a reason why some places are switching to showcases is because the panels are flooded with aqour and ų's clones
>>
>>9714940
I said this before to Milky and now I'll say it to you guys. While I get that this is upsetting news, this should be incentive for you to work harder. Get up, brush yourselves off, and try again. TIF has grown compared to it's previous years. With that in mind, there would have to be a bar or limit to not only the amount of people performing but also the kinds of performers she let's in. There is nothing "rigged" about it because these are auditions we are talking about. She is doing her responsibilities.

Think of it in the eyes of an organizer. If you are running a concert and you want to appeal to the audience as much as possible, who would you pick? Someone who is new and just started learning the ropes or someone who has more experience + better quality content? Of course it's common sense to pick the second option because you'll get more audience participation and feedback. She picked people who has a bigger repritoire.

TIF is not an end all, be all event. I'm sure there are other ways and other opportunities to get your name out there. What >>9715166 said, the only way you can stand out of the crowd is to do something different. Think on the terms of what you would want to see as an audience member and cater to that. There is no use sulking about if you haven't been picked because it's not going to change the outcome and if anything, that kind of attitude could potentially ruin your chances. Just move on, keep going forward, and do better. Maybe even ask why you didn't get picked? If you understand their reasons as to why, you could use that as motivation to work on your flaws. Even though this all sounds mean and harsh, I really do wish you the best and I say this with the intentions of just wanting you to improve.

Does anyone know the name of the love live cosplayer (or group) who did a mv version of "? <- Heartbeat" I remember that they had the magician set unidolized, white dresses from the pool set and one more costume for the dance.
The person who uploaded the original video also had a dance video for a Lily White song, again, in full cosplay to make a MV.

I just noticed, Mimi breaks up the symmetry of the photo. (Well, the symmetry there is.)

For as long as she's been singing, her voice is still rather weak and the cussing felt forced. The instrumentals and some parts of the music video were pretty nice however.

Himezawa should have honestly just stuck with straight pop instead of trying to be darker. Her look and voice don’t fit this style at all.
>>
>>9714994
I agree with what everyone’s been saying. Slushee and Prismatic Love are both groups that have performed with the Festival whose members have posted about not getting in (not saying they are bad for doing that just using it as evidence). If it was really rigged they would have got in because the organizer would have already known them. I’ve also heard from a few sources that Project Starlight was rejected as well. Idol culture is growing in Texas and as a result, performers need to raise their bar and get better because only the cream of the crop will be accepted.
That being said, I would like to express some concerns that people are free to share with the organizers of these festivals. I’m not criticizing them because it’s a great idea but I think the way the conventions are handling them are problematic.
I’ve attended both the Texas Idol Festival and the Starlight Idol Festival and both were fantastic. I have heard from multiple groups however, mostly those attending Ikkicon, that these conventions have rejected their applications for a separate longer performance because “all Idol related content will be in the Idol Festival”. I understand not wanting to see a million love live panels, but I see the Festival as more of a sampler of performers. If I see a person or group I like, I would love to see them do an hour or so of a performance outside of that. This policy hurts the really talented performers who are capable of doing a separate concert and I implore the organizers to talk to the conventions about this.
>>
>>9715772
The other concern I have is for the organizer of the Texas Idol Festival. She is lovely and I do not want her to feel like I’m accusing her of anything. It’s not a problem yet, but I’m concerned about the affiliation with Kira Kira Entertainment (they are also wonderful people and I don’t want them to feel blamed either). There was outcry over acceptances, and as the festival grows so will the applications and the people upset at getting rejected. The last two announcements for performers for Ikkicon have been people from Kira Kira Entertainment and I think three of the seven slots at CTX were Kira Kira. All were very talented and I’m not saying they didn’t earn their place because I’m sure they beat the other groups that applied, but as the event continues to grow I’m concerned people will accuse the event of being biased toward them and automatically giving them a spot because they run it. One might say that this is an event sponsored by Kira Kira so they deserve it, but being that conventions aren’t allowing performances outside of it and the festival is now the official idol events of the conventions, I’m worried about there being a potential conflict of interest in the future and would like to know how the organizers would handle it.
>>
>>9717005
Even Project Starlight was rejected? Even if it's just a rumor, that surprises me a lot. Granted, they aren't really an Austin group. And like, Prismatic Love isn't even good. They're really new, if I recall.
>>
>>9717016
I heard it from someone on the team but I call it a rumor because it wasn’t made public so there’s no way to verify it in writing
>>
I will never get the appeal of this cringy net idol shit. Is it the mediocrity of it all? Can anyone show me a group that doesn't look and sound like they're eating a bucket of muffins? Or are you guys just all in in some weird inside joke and all suck on purpose
>>
>>9714693
I feel so bad about the Aurora Idols song. It's never going to be stellar, but it could be so much better if they just knew how to sing. They have no rhythm and they're so off-key I need to guess what the melody is supposed to be. Did they seriously listen to this before releasing it and think it was ok? Kinda hoping someone better would make a cover and make it sound ok.
>>
>>9717031
No, there are good net idols out there though they are few in numbers. Look up and understand how jpop idol culture works. Here is a good article (remove the spaces): newschoolkaidan .com /daes-idol-101/

Also not all of these I mentioned below are necessarily "net idols" but these are the good idols that aren't in Japan.

Can't say I'm surprised but I'm glad they knew to quit while they're ahead, unlike their predecessor Furi Furi desperately trying to keep their lifeless husk of a group alive for some reason.

>>9717169
>They have no rhythm and they're so off-key I need to guess what the melody is supposed to be.
It sounded more like they're reading run-on sentences from a poorly translated fanfiction and set it to music rather than actually singing lyrics to a song.

"When I think about it, I'd always see you hit people around me but you always seemed to miss, but now that you have mastered your aim you'll start striking again"

"I find it funny that you think you can shoot me down because you'd rather not have me around, but even if it's dark as midnight, the moonlight will shine you out."
>>
>>9717461
You mean their debut performance? Most of that can be blamed on the sound guys and dancing around with wired microphones. For the most part, they figured out how to maneuver around it and they have improved. Here is one of their more recent performances.

Anyone else keep track of dance competitions on instagram? Even though most of the contestants are random cosplayers it's interesting to see the solo dance covers, and a lot are run by or entered by idol groups.

I think you’re behind on how recent it is. That’s from early 2016 and I’m sure they’re done many more since (they’ve also just performed in New York with Juliane but I don’t think there’s a video of it).

I am sad about Minty pop, I liked those three girls. (Not the former two that left, those two had total mean bitch vibes to me) I thought the group would work better now with just those cute three girls. Oh well, they were silent for long, now its official.
>>
Gulls, I mustered the courage to record myself dancing for the first time today. And... honestly, I suck. I knew I wasn't very good, but just dancing in front of a mirror really made it seem like it wasn't quite so bad.

I'm disheartened. Will it get better with practice? Or is it hopeless and I should stop altogether?
>>
>>9717670
I do! I've entered several and I'm just a tad frustrated that a lot of these contests are Love Live songs ONLY, no jpop or anything, and the themes for all of them right now are Christmas.
Almost every single entry is Snow Halation or Jingle Bells Tomaranai because of this.
>>
>>9718278
You'll absolutely get better with practice - when you're watching the video of yourself take note of any mistakes you made, what timing you could improve, any pose placement that you might have a little off, that kinda stuff. And take a look at others doing the same dance, and what they've not only done well but what they could improve on too, and then you can apply that to yourself as well. But also importantly, don't beat yourself up, take note of what you did well and push those aspects to be even better

You got this Anon, don't give up! Everyone has the ability to improve.

I wish groups wouldn't label performances done randomly in a hallway as a live even if it's technically a long live performance with some audience. Since Love Live is so big I'm sure there are multiple groups at most conventions, it can't be that difficult to collaborate and host a joint performance and only have to plan a few songs while still having an hour long event? I would much rather see a few songs executed well rather than almost a whole hour of messy dancing. Inevitably, their energy and stamina is going to go down along with the audience's hype. Even in the anime, you see them working on maybe two songs at most at a time in order to showcase a quality performance rather than several songs and dances.

I honestly can't believe they managed to sell shirts for a mediocre performance in a hallway.
>>
>>9718420
Ok I literally love live fan groups, and yeah it was bad. I mean I saw a lot of good passion but man they need to go. There are new groups that are well, better now.
>>
>>9718457
The thing is AUSA literally had a 4 hour long thing of this! It was fun! They had lights and a stage and an actual DJ (a lot of kids need to use the actual .mp3 and not rip from YouTube but w/e), so it’s genuinely I think a lack of self awareness or an Ego thing
>>
>>9717537 I am

>>9718463
And it was well, pretty decent. Some groups were ok, one group of girls was really good, they did the Kimi no leap (which I didn’t expect), but overall, I think more cons need to have this as a thing. It will fill up a room, there are like over 9000 fan groups so you can 100% easily get a 3 hour block (say have this at 12-3 on Friday or Saturday)
>>

Oh really? I had a complete opposite experience the only problem I had was with the miley girl, the others got on so well they seemed to have a really nice chemistry. Miley seems really average to me, like her voice is terrible and her dancing isn’t great. I think her and the girl in the pink had the least experience and you could see that. Also the other two (the ones who left) were the ones with experience without them it’s obvious that they were possibly trying to keep the group afloat with everything that happened within the group. I don’t have a screengrab but one of the girls who left explained what was happening behind closed doors and it was not great. I feel bad for all of them.
>>
>>9718788
lol you are the dark purple girl
shameless
>>
>>9718278

Whatever you do, don't stop. It wouldn't be fair on yourself to quit before giving yourself a real chance. Some people have a knack for it and pick it up quickly, some people have to take time with it.
Thankfully you have the self awareness to pick up on what was not so great about your attempt, whereas others would just post it up claiming it's the best thing since sliced bread and thinking it's genuinely the best they can produce! So take the opportunity to use the footage to correct your mistakes and try again. You may be surprised at what you find.
>>
>>9718803
Where do you get the idea that anon is Renee? They aren’t necessairly wrong either. Miley and Sophie were actually the least experienced and talented members. Despite the fact that Miley had experience with silks and some other skillful/graceful dance, she still was bad with her idol dance and execution. Kerry was in the middle and Renee and the other were the most experienced. If anon is the purple girl just because of the message posted, then everyone should be Renee becuase it was posted here a few threads ago.
>>
>>9718803
Dark purple Rene? I am not surprised. I know her a bit and it is definitely her to me too.

I actually really liked Miley. Her vocal and dance showreel were the most impressive. She did even drop into splits on a dance video, is she not dance trained? Her singing sounds lovely on todays (or yesterdays?) Minty Pop’s Instagram post. Definitely not average to me, I hope she continues somewhere.
Sophie was also idol material, she has a mature but beautiful voice and her dancing is really cute.
She has so much potential as well.
>>
>>9718873
Correcting myself: Renee*
>>
>>9718803
Renee? Sorry to disappoint but I’m not her. Just because I didn’t agree with you, you assume I’m someone from the group... yikes.

I’m speaking from what I’ve seen in the threads here and from what I’ve seen on live performances. Miley was lacking. And was average. Her vocals were naselly and her dancing lacked. She could do the splits sure that’s great but that only shows flexibility? Like I have nothing against the group I’m sure they much like many others wanted it to work out but from the evidence given by the members who left before and what happened as soon as they left (the group going downhill and being less present) you’d think if they were the problem then the group would have stayed on for longer. I’m just making observations.
>>
>>9718885
Sorry I do not agree. I don’t know the exact reason the group is over but they did 3 performances as a 3 and only 1 as a 5? It literally worked for longer as a 3 than as a 5.

I used splits as an example, average people can do a little dancy dance but only people who trained for a long period can do hard moves like that. She still has a way to go but even if I don’t remember all the videos right now I can recall she was definitely the best at the Bari3 cover. She clearly has some dance training but if she is not a professional dancer it means she has a lot of natural talent.

It’s not like you would admit being Renee lolz (two people think you are too). It is really obvious it’s you. You have some jealousy issues about Miley and Sophie. Anyway, good luck.
>>
>>9718914
Let’s agree to disagree, I don’t mean performance wise btw. Minty pop were announced as a group for a longer time as a 5 than a 3 and just because they did more performances doesn’t mean they were better off morale wise.

Renee has never been mentioned to being on this thread before (as far as I can remember) and I’m just pariotting points other people have made so... good luck to you too lol
>>
>>9718914
Also I saw them perform live at LFCC that was my experience.

>>9718842
Entering to this discussion; Kerry in the middle? Kerry is ten times a better dancer than Renee. It really shows every time they dance together, Renee is so weak compared to her. Whoever wrote that does have a lot of weird praise for Renee.
>>
>>9718981
We? No one else thinks it’s Renee but you kinda on your own
>>
There's someone local to me who is looking to start their own, and the last remaining space is for the same person to do both Hanamaru and Umi.

> Third flattest chest in Muse
> Joint second biggest chest in Aqours

Lets see how that goes down
>>
>>9719027
It really doesn't matter. Chest size could only possibly matter if you're cosplaying Nozomi or Mari, honestly. Nobody pays attention otherwise.
>>
>>9719045

I think it becomes problematic when you mix those issues with height and take the rest of the body into account.
Zura is tiny whereas Umi is relatively leggy in comparison. So a slightly squatter/chubby/busty girl could get away with Hanamaru but I don't think they'd work out too well for Umi, who should commonly be depicted as someone with thinner, longer limbs and a thinner face.

It's kind of like seeing a Nico sporting a rack of double D's.
>>
>>9718988
Uh no weird praise. I’m just stating what I saw and based on my own gauge. I didn’t see much to Kerry but I could very well be wrong.

>>
>>9719669

I don't really think it's hype. I think it's pity.
>>
>>9719669
Yeah like what >>9719675 said, it’s pity. Her wig choice is shit and that’s on her, but Mimi repeatedly fails to take her height into consideration which attributes to her looking frumpy. However I will say that while her dancing isn’t good, she most definitely can sing to an extent and the talent is there but she is only 15 so it’s up to her whether or not she grows and takes the steps to improve (such as practicing more or taking lessons). Mimi on the other hand.

>>
>>9719675
it's not that i think she's the next big thing or anything like that, i just think she's a half decent singer, and mimi has no idea how to sew for anything other than her own body type. in all the one step ahead of the game photos she looks so frumpy, and she's supposed to be featured yet everyone else's costumes look better than hers.

i do gotta wonder if/why she chose that wig look tho
>>
>>9719510
At least their Eli and Nozo are pretty? But that Nico...(?)
>>
Hm, the new Stellure song wasn't as good as Shining Stars, but to be quite honest, it wasn't as bad as I had expected it to be. Obviously the dancing could use some improvement, but the singing was nice and there were actually harmonies in this. Also, you can actually hear Luna's voice in this song, as in you can really hear how nice she sounds. Not the best, but definitely not the worst either.
>>
>>9719836
A better mic will do wonders for them though.
>>
>>9719836
The solo bits sounded pretty decent (as decent as they can be at their current level) but the group portions sounded so... not powerful? and half assed. Maybe it's the mixing? idk. I wonder if they all record the singing bits on the same day in the same location all together or if they have to do it all on their own time.
>>
Link to new song btw

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KQqEqta9fs

I agree. I enjoyed the singing even though it wasn't too powerful in group parts, but the song itself is really underwhelming. The music had the same energy throughout, didn't really have any lows or highs. I also thought the choice of filming was weird. I know they do their videos pretty much all in one day, but I keep hoping they'll do a MV-style video with dance shots interspersed with other stuff, and so far it's all been straight dance videos.

The thing that annoys me the most in their songs is the lyrics. They're not even trying to rhyme or do anything that sounds smooth, it's like those badly translated japanese to english lyrics
>>
>>9719882
Same here. What really bugged me is that their arm positions vary so wildly. Tauri keeps hers really close to her body, and one other girl has hers held way too far away. The choreo was also pretty boring in parts, when they were all in a line doing the same move over and over it got tired real fast.
>>
>>9719882
like i know it's not new, but their videos would look so much better if they chose better places to film that weren't just public parks. you could even see people walking around behind them.

or at least a paved park, but nothing about the location complemented the other choices. also, it really made the autotune noticeable, i think. it literally would have made more sense if they filmed it just about anywhere else.

>I keep hoping they'll do a MV-style video with dance shots interspersed with other stuff, and so far it's all been straight dance videos.
Same here. They could've had solo close-ups in front of the statue and posed with playing cards like pic related. Anything to cut down on the awkward dance shots.
Although the dance was really simple and boring, at least everyone generally knew what they were doing and didn't look lost. Still need to work on that synchronization though.

The vocals are underwhelming. They don't sound as confident in this song as they did during their livestream singing songs from Broadway musicals. Maybe it's not a matter of being bad at singing, but having difficulties creating and singing their own melodies with conviction? Also the vocal mixing, especially during group parts, was poorly done.

I like Luna and I think she sounds nice here, but I think Callisto would have been a more suitable center for this song. Tauri needs to work on her expressions: if she isn't the main focus of the shot, she forgets to smile, and her singing solos were kind of emotionless as well. Mimi's improved quite a bit in her dancing and vocals and she's genuinely smiling.

According to the video description, Mimi's solo song is coming up next (this month?) and then a full group song in 2018.
>>
>>9719882
I’ll give it to Mimi bc her expressions have improved a lot and she’s actually smiling.
The song is definitely above bright future but not by a whole lot. They just have such a hard time singing together. The solos are fine I think they just need to practice confidence.
I’m screaming though. Why is Luna wearing white capri tights and sneakers???
I don’t know how exciting New Jersey suburbs are (I think that’s where they film) but ffs find a better filming location
>>
>>9719436

Or Psychic Fire and Cutie Panther.
>>
>>9720014
What other real dances does Bibi have other than those 3 songs though? Everything else is a ballad.
>>
I'm probably gonna get accused of selfposting here but I'm not. I thought I remembered an anon from the Detroit/Windsor area looking for groups, from a few threads ago, so I wanted to let that anon and anyone else in the area know that Nebula Kiss is opening applications. Again, I'm not any of them, but I am local to the area so it might be helpful for other people around Michigan.
>>
>>9720022
Literally only a few of Bibi’s songs are actually ballads unless I’m stupid. The ballad group is Lily White.
>>
>>9719882
Basically what everyone else said: it's better, but not by much. I can't really distinguish their voices much desu but the autotune in this was super noticeable, and the song itself was just kinda eh. Their voices didn't match the intensity of the beat imo.

Also already mentioned, but location is really starting to affect their video quality. It was kind of cute for Bright Future but I feel like this is a consistent critique they should work on. There are totally better locations to film, and honestly, they're all rich as shit from what I understand so I'm sure one of them has a fully finished basement they could transform with decorations or something. We've seen in other BTS videos that they have professional lighting equipment, so that wouldn't be a problem. Otherwise, they should do some more shoot scouting because the parks are getting a little old.

Kind of a nitpick on my end, but was anyone else bothered by them not all wearing the same kind of socks? I don't know why it bugged me so much.

What kind of stuff would you guys like to see Stellure do in the future, if they can keep it together to make more songs? I think they should make a winter or Christmas-themed song and take advantage of pretty East coast winters for the video.
>>
>>9719882
The fact that there a moments were lines are clearly not synced up bothers me a lot. This is something even amateurs could do properly. The song itself is better, but the quality isn't.
>>
>>9720049
>Also already mentioned, but location is really starting to affect their video quality.
I googled dance studios in New Jersey and found this. According to the website, the room can be rented for events such as musical performances.
https://dancewithmeusa.com/Services/event-space-rental/
I think this could have looked nice as the setting for One Step Ahead.

>What kind of stuff would you guys like to see Stellure do in the future, if they can keep it together to make more songs?
I would love for Mimi to invest her time into designing some good-quality, versatile uniforms for the group that they can use for more than one song. Making a new set of costumes for each new song is such a waste of time and effort, like are they ever planning on using those Bright Future or One Step Ahead costumes again? I also want for them to learn to make a music video that isn't just dance shots from different angles.

And this isn't something I necessarily want, but I think it would be smart for Mimi to turn her Stellure artwork into phone or desktop wallpapers and upload them as downloadable incentives on Patreon. As of late, their current patrons don't really seem to be getting much exclusive content. I'm sure they've got a few fans who'd pay (maybe $5 at most) for a phone background of their best girl(s) or whatever.
>>
>>9720097
>are they ever planning on using those Bright Future or One Step Ahead costumes again?

I was really hoping for a 1-year anniversary remake of Bright Future, but it didn't happen. Maybe the costumes will at least show up again in future songs.
>>
>>9719882
Tauri sounds flat as hell.
>>
>>9720124
I agree. She's not nearly on-par with the rest of the girls in the video, Mimi included.
>>
Can't decide if this is a nitpick or not, but, at 2:22 Mimi does the wrong move, laughs at herself, and stops lip synching for a few seconds. Not getting onto her for fucking up, we all do it, but how the hell was that left in the final version of the video?
>>
>>9719882
Flat, boring

I can see what they wanted to go for but they fell way short of the mark
The music itself is boring and the beats aren't strong enough- They'd do better having that same song sped up and the beats intensified a bit. As it is it's just slow and awkward.

I'll also never get over how unflattering Luna's costume is. If they had time to re-film Mimi could have at least taken the skirt up and made some fitting adjustments.
And as per usual their vocals are lifeless and unpleasant. I'm glad they're learning to mix and use autotune but you can't digitally fix your pitch/emotion that way.A big part of LL songs is that the seiyuus really put their character into their singing- They might not be amazing singers but you can feel the emotion and it makes it fun and enjoyable. Stellure needs to do this to compensate for their average af voices.
>>
>>9720149
I just hate Luna’s dress so much. If it was gold maybe and actually tailored it would be ok. It’s just so bad. Burn it.
>>
>>9720097
>are they ever planning on using those Bright Future or One Step Ahead costumes again?
I honestly feel like their hope is to do what a lot of idols do and re-use them in lives or concerts but honestly that will probably never happen. And most of the time, the exact costumes are never seen again and instead have stage versions made and slightly different/more show-off (see Morning Musume’s One Two Three). While I think having different costumes is cool for a group that does its own music, it’s a waste on a group as mediocre as this that won’t get too far.

>>9720101
Bright Future was released in April of this year so there’s not yet a reason for a 1 year anniversary of the song. But I still doubt it’d happen (it’d be smart probably but also a major train wreck).
>>
>>9719882
This song is a disappointment after the last one. I really am hopeful about stellure improving every song but this one was just so dead. They would really benefit from doing an MV

Sure their dancing isn't spot on but they're cute, the MV is well put together, and they have personality. Those sort of things are a little more important than accurate dancing when it comes to idols

I love the skit at the beginning, this was pretty cute and a nice watch overall.

Nico was the worst one though, there's nothing even remotely like the character about her, which would be fine if she at least danced well (or put on make-up for that matter). Or if she danced poorly, but with energy and excitement, like the character.

I love Maki, she lacks energy too but it suits her and she's super pretty.

>>9722059

I don’t mean to sound as if I have something against Juliane, but I hope she works on her dancing. Primarily, I think she needs to work on how she executed her moves becuase while they aren’t exactly sloppy, they aren’t refined either. I do think her vocals are good and she has good stamina. Few non-professionals can do that.
>>
>>9723434
I don't understand why she picked those clothes for these covers. The outfit is more "anime style" idol, and the songs she's covering are all regular stuff, not cutesy in any way.

Does anyone have any New Year Resolutions for 2018 relating to idol activities? Forming your own group? Covering underappreciated idol franchises? Performing live more often? Releasing your first original song?
What do you hope to see from from certain groups or the net idol community as a whole in 2018?

I'm going to work on getting in shape and possibly maybe considering becoming a proper net idol if I can manage to get over my stage fright and self-image issues. I don't know why despite my fear of audiences, I'd still love to sing for one...

I want for more idols/groups to release (good) original songs, or at the very least do covers that aren't so trendy and overdone. I was hoping for less Love Live cover groups in 2018, but with School Idol Festival All Stars coming out next year that probably won't be happening.
>>
>>9723654
My group is planning to release our first original song, so I guess my resolutions are to choreograph it well and learn how to sew decently enough that the costumes won't look like crap. I also want to work on my stamina, and my facial expressions during dancing. I'm fine when I lipsync, but am totally dead faced when I don't.

On a more petty note, to do better than Stellure and blow them out of the water.
>>
>>9723654
I’m hoping that my group debuts next year. It won’t be a cover group but we’ll do covers in between releases. One of my non-idol goals is to get in shape too. I hope they net idol and local idol communities drop the “its not perfect but it’s okay” mindset.

>>9723764
Congrats on the song. That Stellure issue is one of the reasons my friend and I decided to go along with our group.
>>
I'm planning to start my own Youtube channel for covers. I would have done it earlier, but unfortunately I injured myself and it's a long term healing process (much to my dismay)
In all honesty, I've never really been present on Instagram, other than liking a post to enter a giveaway or something so I often hear about things from that second-hand. I don't really know if it's a better platform to do this sort of thing on, or if it's worse, or has limitations like a restriction to lengths of videos... stuff like that. What would you gulls recommend? If you're actually half decent is it worth having a shot at the dance competitions being held on there? Are most people mediocre on there or are there good people actually worth following and competing against? Perhaps even make friends with them?

I'd also like to do more live solo performances. The friends I typically perform with aren't going to be present on the con scene over the upcoming year, and it'll be nice to perform alone and be able to worry about what I'm doing instead of dealing with dramas and worrying about everyone else leading up to cons. If something goes wrong I can just blame myself and do better next time.

Despite that though, I'd like to be able to do some cosplay groups with people that I've not done it with for a while, or even find new people just to inject a bit of fun into the experience while my friends aren't present. I feel bad that they're not able to be there but I think it'd be a waste if I didn't at least try to break out of my usual bubble - for better or for worse.
>>
>>9723434
Oh no you don't sound mean at all, I completely understand what you mean and I too have also noticed this in myself, it's been kind of difficult to fix. Lately, I've been focusing on trying to do harder dances to get myself out of my comfort zone. I felt pretty stale in my skills over the year so this is hoping that I could use this as a way to push myself.

>>9723634
At the moment I've been prioritizing spending my money for my day to day necessities so right now, I'm going to have to stick with that outfit until I can afford to get something better. I'm sorry about that.

Oh yeah btw, if anyone else would like to provide any feedback just feel free to message or comment on any of my posts. I'm open to any and all criticism because I really do want to get better and I feel like this is only on here I can get insight on someone's raw opinion, which is actually refreshing to me. If you're too shy to reveal your name, that's okay, I also have a sarahah too.
>>
>>9723654
I guess I'll try to do more covers on my own, since being in a group didn't really work out for me. Maybe that way I can get good and actually audition for one of the better groups in my area? I don't know. I started out just dancing because it was "trendy" but now I actually kind of love it?
>>
Did anyone see the idol festival at Holiday Matsuri? I saw a clip from Dejavudea's instagram story and it looked really cool. I hope more cons start doing this kind of thing, even if it's usually pretty exclusive.
>>
>>9724454
Im glad conventions are starting to implement idol festival. It really gives the non-anime idol and quality groups a chance to shine. I hope having them will encourage shitty groups to improve.
>>
>>9724454
what do you mean by exclusive?
>>
>>9723871
Thanks! I’m just a little worried, because one of our members doesn’t have a traditional idol vocal style. They sounds good, but I’m worried about criticism/them being deemed worst girl because of it.
>>
>>9724859
Well the thing is, there’s plenty of actual idols who don’t have an idol style voice. They usually end up being the front members or the most popular. What’s really to matter is are they actually on key? If the mixing is done well and everyone is singing the song correctly, there’s no issue.
>>
>>9724924
Aaah, that’s very reassuring! Thank you!
>>
>>9724801
Just that you have to apply to get in, I guess. Unless that one worked differently than the Texas one. I mean, I guess it makes sense to have quality control especially if it's a short time slot.
>>
>>9724102
Ah, I see! I was going to say that some street-style clothes would be good (thinking of the visuals for love like candy floss) but... that would probably be too underwhelming for that performance.

(More relating to odottemita activities since I don't consider myself a net idol)

My main goal for 2018 is to build more of an audience and put out content (dance covers) more frequently. 2017 has been a busy year for me and I haven't been able to get out nearly as many dance covers as I'd like, which is perhaps one of the reasons why it's been so difficult for me to build/keep an audience.
I'd like to be more open and comfortable reaching out to/connecting with people in my odottemita community, as that's been holding me back as well.
In addition to this, I guess I'd make it a goal for myself to perform at more cons. Considering the fact that I'm sure I'll be busy next year too, that might be difficult-- but I've only had a few performances so far, and I still find myself lacking. I want to become more comfortable with performing since I actually enjoy it, despite how nervous I may have looked in prior performances.
TL;DR, I'd just like to make a lot more progress as an odorite over the next year, seeing as how I feel like I haven't made much progress at all.

Have you ever picked up the original (765) Idolmaster before? If not I recommend you listen to the voices of the girls doing the same song. There's one who actually sounds incredibly boyish, not your typical idol sound but she sounds -amazing- and is a great entertainer too. If everyone sounded the same it'd be boring and it's nice to pick out who sound good together for certain songs in game, so don't worry too much about them. It just means that they'll be able to cover bases the others cant.
>>
>>9725884

Not only this, but as most of these channels are huge (with Lilypichu being the biggest), they have the money to really get great art, animation, and actual music. Art and animation may be done in group but in the music aspect, this is obviously far more than simple Logic or Mixcraft.
>>
>>9726694
I honestly never thought I'd hear lilypichu mentioned in one of these threads. Do you think she'd be doing compositions too? This whole thing is pretty surprising, honestly.
>>
>>9726697
Actually, since I don’t follow her super closely, I had no idea she composed. If she did, then she’s pretty good.
>>
>>9726697

Lilypichu was playing piano since she was a child so she should be able to do compositions, not going to be Mozart lvl but she should be able to at this point.
>>
>>9726658
Wow, the music and art looks so good. I have no doubt the music will be phenomenal.
I do wish they had ditched the stereotypical anime personalities. I watched the intro videos and cringed, which is a shame because they sound so good.
I also am a bit confused at what makes them an idol group rather than a YouTube music group. I know the definition of an idol is up to interpretation, but I feel like live performances (whether in person or via youtube videos) and dancing is super important. Since they live far apart from each other I doubt either of those would happen. I know a lot of YouTube groups that do exactly what they’re doing— creating characters and singing together in a group— that don’t consider themselves idols. Does anyone else have thoughts about this? Maybe I’m just being picky about the definition of an idol lol
>>
>>9727010
I guess the other option is they’re going to animate their characters dancing, but then I would consider them a fictional idol group because it’s more like they’re making an idol anime. That being said, all of the seiyuus in idol anime usually learn the dances and perform them themselves, so I feel like they would still be missing that authenticity that would make them a real (as in not fictional) idol group.
>>
>>9727010
I do agree with the anime personalities. I was a bit disappointed when nearly all of them had similar high speaking voices. I also have doubts on calling them idols becuase of different definitions, but comparing to chorus groups I think there’s a big difference. For one, this is a group that’s going to be solely focused on original music and will be selling it. I personally already preorded all 3 versions. Second, I think what will really tell if they’re a “true” virtual idol group or not is what they’ll do activity wise. I wouldn’t doubt them being able to afford true animation so if they ever come out with some animated material like a mini-live or something, I’d definitely think they could be considered an idol group. I hope they figure out other material other than just an occasional music release because that’d leave much to be desired and would make them fade fast. Personally I see a very small difference between them and all anime idol franchises except the odds of them coming together to perform as the group are little to none.
>>
>>9726726
I'm not sure either, I just know she's really good with piano covers.

You both could definitely be a bit sharper with this dance, but more importantly you need to work on sync. I’m assuming you’re Ashuri but I could be wrong. You both could benefit from practicing together more and using a mirror or recording yourselves in practice and reviewing that. The energy for Ashuri was pretty okay so both need to work on that.

I just had a horrifying thought. They could be the RWBY of idol anime (well I just hate myself for typing that, brb jumping off a bridge), in that they all play personalities, have animated PVs like Love Live does, polls for who will be the Center, I don't know if they will sing or dance BUT they could even have say a 1-2 hour special since I know they could easily get the money for a flash/basic 2 hour movie, AND they have the fanbase just like how RvB was the thing that let RWBY launch.

There are enough western weebs who would follow.
>>
>>9730014
I get everything you’re saying and how it could be really bad. I do think though that there’s also the possibility that they find someone to actually work on sketch animation instead of 3D animation. I have friends who follow RWBY and admit that the animation is bad but was worse back then but at least it improved. I think that how well it’s concieved depends on how much money they’re willing to shell out (and I know at least Lilypichu has money to). They have plans. It all depends on what they are and they won’t tell anyone.

I'm gradually going through each girls' past uploads. It seems to be organized by this "Momoki" person, but she's a weak singer and clearly an amateur still despite so many covers. I am baffled on how they roped in a full set of Japanese and Korean singers.

Lilypichu composed the song at the end of this video, according to the comments: youtube com/watch?v=SsM1qRbazbQ&t=10m48s

I’m almost ashamed to say this, but the red and white outfit from the start is kind of cute? But god. Her voice is not great and her dancing is bad. Anyone know if the Japanese (if you can even make it out) is at all accurate?

I feel bad for her, because she’s clearly trying pretty hard. But man, everything sucks, especially the videography.
>>
>>9730876
This is bad... but I think there may be a bit of potential in the song? The melody of the chorus is catchy and her singing doesn't put me to sleep like a lot of other beginner vocalists, but her harmonization and mixing needs a lot of work. As for the video, it might be salvageable with some color correcting and getting rid of those uncomfortable zooms following her hand gestures. This is way better than Flusay Girl's Christmas Song at least.

Are you sure it’s not the same? It’s not a matter of cosplaying outside of body type. It’s an issue of actually picking clothes that fit. I’ve seen lots of fat or chubby girls cosplay who look GOOD. If we want to say age isn’t something to care about then maybe people should stop saying things like “xyz looks way to old to cosplay abc.” Yes I’m fat but at least I know how to dress, select my size, and still not look like I’m falling out my clothes. Also, it’s something I can change (and am doing) unlike people who are ill like you say. GTFO with that shit argument.

Pay no attention. They probably don't even understand idol culture and are pulling most of this out of their ass. Love Live is more of an insult to idol culture than Interlunium will ever be.

If you really think about it, replace Interlunium with Love Live in this argument and it sounds very similar?

There is a significant difference between being just a little bit chubby and being 110lbs overweight. If you're eating healthy and exercising regularly, you won't look like an obese piece of shit, no matter what genetic predisposition you have.
>>
>>9731481
I honestly think you’re an idiot if that’s all you think matters. There’s more than enough people who do exactly that but still look “overweight.” Even with obesity from any cause (whether it be being lazy or an illness), there’s only so much that consistent or even extreme healthy eating and exercise can do. A person could be 110lbs overweight, lose half of it, and still look like they are over weight especially if they’re small. Original point is nobody gives a shit if anyone cosplays outside their body type unless it’s a fat person displaying. Stop giving a shit period. Don’t like don’t watch.

i think they were being ironic because "idol industry" alone suggests commercialization plus the fact that AKB, MM, etc are all about making money. that's the whole point of idols. no one is funding hundreds of girls to do silly dancing and singing out of the goodness of their heart. even the small-time idols are trying to get big and blow up too so they can get fame and money if it comes their way.
>>
>>9731578
Not only this, but there have been countless idols who don’t care about idols. My favorite and recently graduated NMB member Kinoshita Momoka was left at the audition by her mom who also signed her up in the first place. Not every idol is in love with being an idol and not every company cares.

While boycotting Interlunium just because they want to make a profit is stupid, I do wish there was something more to their anime trope personas. "I'm the leader. I'm her friend. I'm the shy one... I have a pet hamster :3 I'm the egotistical cute but psycho xD one. Buy our single!"
I'm hoping there will be some kind of story to go along with the characters, or even just funny little comic strips would suffice.

God that was a laugh. They didn’t even try to hide their butt hurt and saltiness. The “friends” and “Japanese idol enthusiasts” I’m sure don’t exist, since they just “say” that they agree but don’t provide any receipts. With their logic, is it morally wrong that cover groups like Pentatonix profit off of western artists by covering their songs? I hate idol fans that think the industry is so damn precious and sacred that it needs to be protected from people trying to wreck it by... created good content and enjoying the music?? Like what?
>>
>>9731692
I am saying this from experience and literally all three of those statements are true. Again, from experience. You’re really just dumb and are probably fat yourself.
>>
>>9731778
Adding on, Interlunium's debut song is an original song anyways so I don't see a problem with profiting from it. Lizz, Jayn and Hikaru are already well known Youtaites. I know Hikaru and Jayn have both made original songs before and Lizz has done translyrics into English. If utaites like Reol, Hanatan, etc are able to profit from original songs provided to them by producers or including cover songs in their CDs, I don't see why non-Japanese singers can't do the same.

I'm sure they're just taking on the idol persona in the same way that male utaites have for original songs like Secret Answer.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwLP3GDIhAk

If anything, idol roleplay where nothing is actually being created except for traced art is worth complaining about. I'm personally viewing Interlunium as veteran cover singers/youtubers who have decided to create an original group of idol personas but actually carrying through with the music rather than actual idols.
>>
Does anyone have a favourite singer/persona from Interlunium? I think the persona idea is pretty cheesy but it's also still cute, and they're actually executing it well so i'm down with it.

Anyone else still follow Allithetrashlord after she left Stellure?

Yesterday she went on a rant because someone thought she was transgender. Probably a troll to begin with, but she's still going on about it today and not accepting blame. I hope her fans finally see her true colours.

Sorry, no screen caps. Didn't think to save them.
>>
>>9734161
I follow her because no matter how much I dislike her she’s kind of interesting. Personally, I don’t think she was so much avoiding blame as she was trying to clear up what she meant and people could’ve kept messaging her about it hence her getting annoyed. And I’m not saying she’s not avoiding it because I’m her friend or anything but she’s actually apologized. I mean she’s still a shitty person but at least she knows when to apologize for saying something even if the meaning was misinterpreted.

This is the avoiding blame post I'm referring to. She said she'd stop talking about it, but is still claiming people are just too "sensitive" instead of properly acknowledging how transphobic she is.
>>
>>9734214
I mean she’s not wrong but there were probably some - who aren’t transgender - who were speaking on behalf of transgender people. Personally I feel like to call her transphobic is a stretch becuase, to me at least, she never said anything about transgender people that was transphobic. She got a anon message saying she looked good for a guy and she responded. It wasn’t anything like “only real women would have breasts” or “breasts like these” which I would understand. She says what she said and even apologized and recognized how what she said could’ve been taken the wrong way. Calling people sensitive and thanking for support =/= avoiding blame. People are sensitive and a majority those people were probably not transgender.
>>
>>9734247
"How could I be transgender if I have REAL boobs and a VAGINA?"
Did we even read the same response? She was clearly implying that if she was transgender she wouldn't have these things, and they made her a "real" woman. She got offended by the sheer thought of being mistaken as transgender and went on an unsightly, transphobic, and close minded rant about it. I'm not going to keep arguing, she's already proven many times she's a shitty person and this was just the final straw for me.

Back to the cringe please.
>>
>>9734286
i have no idea what her response was because i didn't see it but i'm inclined to believe you're reaching really hard from that one screencap. world doesn't revolve around transgender people, qq
>>
>>9734286
Uhh it's offensive to call someone transgendered when they are not just like it's offensive to call a transgendered their original sex.

The fact that you took it all the way to transphobic shows how "sensitive" people are over these things. See it from another side and stop trying to be a special snowflake. We all have feelings no matter what gender, race, or sexual identity and calling someone the wrong thong can be hurtful. Maybe the wording wasn't perfect but she shouldn't have been called a man. That's it
>>

I'll try to ask this in the least confusing way possible.
I'm an odorite (I guess, only an aspiring odorite)-- how do you guys rebound when you lose motivation? I feel like I've improved over the years, but I also feel like I'm not getting anywhere, despite my recent efforts. My efforts to promote myself in the past were half-assed or simply nonexistent; I'm aware of that. But now, I'm actually trying to put myself out there more. I'm trying to break out of my shell. However, at the same time, I simply don't enjoy this as much as I used to. (Perhaps that's just because I've been stuck in a rut in general lately). I know that in order to be successful, the passion has to be there-- and a lot of the time, it is there-- it just isn't at the moment.
How do I pick myself back up during my times of low/no motivation?
>>
>>9738897

Have a break, get some perspective, look at new things (styles, groups etc) you wouldn't look at normally for inspiration.

I injured myself pretty badly and that forced me to stop dancing for a few months and I'm still at that point where I don't feel like I should be while I'm in that recovery stage. But let me tell you now, losing the ability, while only temporary is enough to make you realise how much you love and need dance. So while I wouldn't recommend temporarily crippling yourself for that epiphany you can take a step back and give yourself a chance to recharge from the burnout.

People seem to think that dancing is for other people and should therefore be 'promoted' for the sake of others to view. Some do it for 5 minutes of e-fame or whatever but I'm personally under the impression that when I'm well enough to get out there and put my covers up for the public to see it's going to be primarily for myself. I like sharing my dances, sure, but it's not my sole purpose or my main focus. I don't need to be noticed or watched to give my dancing purpose - I make that on my own by simply enjoying it and improving.

If you want to get better, get some formal classes in you or go to workshops. If you've done some then maybe try a different style to shake it up a bit and learn something new.
It's so easy to get stagnant but it's hard to realise when you've managed to get yourself into that funk and what to do when it happens.

All in all, there is no point in forcing it when you're not feeling it. It'll be so obvious in your videos and if you're anything like me, then you'll probably beat yourself up when you're unhappy with what you produce.
>>
>>9738897
Ah, I just had this problem for the past few months. I only started to upload yesterday. What I do is don't force it. If you force yourself to practice, get ready, record, edit, and upload; you're in for a disappointment. You're not going to enjoy the end result.

However, if you're just stuck in a rut, work on something you've been wanting to work on for awhile. Maybe there's been a dance you've really enjoyed seeing that's made you smile, learn that. That usually gives me a lot to look forward to, knowing that I can put my own spin and personality on something that I love.

And as the other anon before me said, do it for yourself! Continue to get better because you want to, not because you have to. I am only now realizing how much I wanted to get back into being an odorite, and how much I let comparing myself to others prevent me from that.

If you really want it, you will make it happen. Good luck anon!

Coming from a person that literally saw idol stuff for the first time at ikkicon (and holy shit I think I love this drivel, its like the second coming of kpop for me haha) and is learning more about it:

Didn't get the glow sticks we were promised. :( But friend let me use hers during the show. I just followed what everyone else in the audience was doing and I guess light-sticks are pretty fun.

First group was pretty good, They were all super in sync, their outfits were adorable, none of them were overweight, and it was just a great performance. I watched all of their performances. They had good, open movements, good rotations, and lip syncing.

Second dancer was a solo act called 'Bobbi' and it was wanna-be Youtube cringe. She doesn't really have a great body and wore a shapeless kigu for her dances. And stood in the back. And she kept messing with her hair while she was dancing, like brushing it out of her face when it isn't even in her face. WTF, don't do that in the middle of a dance. All songs were kpop, but I've been out of kpop for a while and didn't know any of the songs. Was really boring to watch her, I stopped paying attention somewhere in the middle of the her first song. At some point she stripped the kigu and it was awkward to watch it get stuck at her ankles. I was not impressed.

Third group was Love Notes, a Love Live group. The songs were long, but their performances were pretty good. I was impressed that somehow they got so many girls to practice something like this together. Everyone looked like they had really good attitudes about performing, though there were definitely some stronger dancers that stood out from weaker dancers.

Fourth group was two girls, who also sang - I don't really like listening to amateur singing, so my group left the show at this point to go do something else, so I didn't see anything after that.

Overall, I was impressed by the groups that I saw and I'm getting more into idol stuff now.

The first rule of being an idol is to smile, and yet people forget that for some reason. There's no way someone's going to watch a dancer if they look like they're in physical pain the whole time. Even if it's intentional, it can look bad.

I guess it's cute? But, there's an official dance which makes original choreography redundant, especially when this was posted today. I mean there's probably some controversy in the community about pirating stuff, I guess. Still, original choreography for a song that already has it seems like such a waste of time and effort. Some even make mirrors for original choreography which can be confusing to people who only want to do official choreography.

What do you guys think? Do you frown upon people who pirate lives before the dvds are out and use them to learn dances? Or do you think, it doesn't really matter?
>>
>>9741427
The dance they did is the original so can’t really hold it not be spectacular to them. WINK was basically known for their simplicity and not smiling. The purple girl should defiantly rethink the outfit. There’s good ways to make high waisted pants and skirts for bigger girls. This was not it. Singing was very quiet but I think it’s better than most people would do (singing live and mainly correct pronunciation). I do want to hear them sing something not characterized by soft voices which is another thing WINK is known for.

I honestly don’t think it matters in the long run. For one, more times than not there’s some kind of marker that denotes when original choreography is used (as in it’ll literally say “original choreography” in English or Japanese just like it says here). As far as piracy goes, the videos will be pirated either way through torrents of the official or through people recording with their phones, so frankly I don’t think it matters. If you come up with something you feel is better or are just inspired, do original choreography. There’s nothing redundant about it. They may not like the Official dance or may have went full idiot and couldn’t find it. Who knows.

I went to look and on the TIF page they sound clearer. As far as singing and dancing go, there are some but they’re very minimal.
>>
>>9739912

So first group was covers in general? As for the Love Notes groups, I do find their performances do pretty well given the recent LL cringe
>>
>>9741512
Sorry, I don't know enough to tell you if the songs were covers or not. >.> And I don't really remember the songs they danced to anymore either <.<
>>
>>9741860
Literally everyone was doing covers except for Paida.

Ally & Sally wrote an update on their FB page about their time in their idol group in 2017, Amina seems to completely done with being an idol except to sometimes give her sage opinions, and Himezawa is just the same as always.

It doesn't look like any of these new girls are going anywhere in actuality.

Who is your favourite Stellure and why is it Mimi? Am I the only one who wants to see them succeed and improve?
>>
>>9742722
You sound like Mimi. People do want to see them improve but they keep fucking themsleves over. My favorite is Castillo & Luna if you must know.
>>
>>9742722
Definitely not Mimi. I don't really like any of them in particular but I do wish them well and hope they improve. I don't think adding more members was the right answer to their quality and scheduling issues.
>>
>>9741124
isn't the ruby the same girl as the nico in this? >>9737363 judging from the eyebrows
>>
>>9742722
Hello Mimi. Have a problem with nobody is talking of your shitty group in weeks? Also, all the members are boring as hell
>>
>>9742722
>why is it Mimi?
Is that a typo, a joke, or are you extremely new to /cgl/ net idol threads? Mimi was pretty much unanimously considered the worst of the original 6 members, both performance and personality wise, though that may have subsided by now. Nix seems to have replaced Mimi as the most obnoxious and resented member of the group.

My favorites are Luna and Callisto, and I think Polaris might also become a favorite once she gets to perform. I'd like for Stellure to improve and succeed as well, but I've had my doubts about how the new members will work out since they were first announced. Recruiting good singers isn't going to help with their dance synchronization and costume construction.

>>9737603
>I feel like there’s a few who want to actually be performers but they either take themselves so seriously that they stay hidden until ready
That makes sense. It would be smart to keep the weeby aspirations hidden until you're certain you can make it and you have fans who will wholeheartedly support you.

>Hello Mimi.
Her autism is charming. Also she seems to be the one trying the most. Mimi is definitely the brightest shining star in Stellure~~ She will prove all the haters wrong
>>
>>9742802
Nix is definitely the worst after updating her bio to this.
Also why is an 18 year old performing with a bunch of 14-15 year olds?
>>
>>9742820
Yeah you are like 110% Mimi.... Like that autism comment could throw someone off but god. Mimi just admit you’re a narcissist. It’s okay. It won’t make anyone hate you less. People already hate you as much as someone can.

>>9742841
Wow... And to be fair, they’re all aged between 14-18, so it’s not that far off especially when you look at her horrible personality.
>>
>>9742891
Eh, Mimi probably is narcissistic but not to this extent. I'm guessing either a troll who's aware of the general dislike of Mimi and wants to stir up conflict or (this is a reach but not entirely impossible) maybe Stella trying to draw away attention from her "transphobia" drama earlier in the thread?
>>
>>9742722
Not Mimi, because she thinks her freaking cats are gay for each other. No, you dummy, they’re just being cat friends. My dogs bonding with each other doesn’t mean they’re lesbians.

Anyway, I really do like Astra, she seems pretty sweet. Also holding out for Polaris, since she looks cute and is apparently a tap dancer.
>>
>>9742931
Yeah but that’s already blown over more or less so I see no reason for Stella to try and cause up trouble like this. And honestly based on some stuff I’ve seen from Mimi, I defintily wouldn’t put that kind of narcissism behind her.
>>
>>9742722

None of them, they all suck.

Next.
>>
>>9742984
Agreed. I don't care if they fail or succeed, they're just some crappy wanna be idol group, bad vocals bad dancing bad visuals.. Next.
>>
facebook com/seishunya/videos/1957704444254799/

I wonder how many of these people will even make it into the actual group as more so how many even auditioned.

new thread?

If anyone wants to laugh

Here is an “idol” group that was hired by several cgl related events in Australia

It’s so sad to watch desu
>>
>>9748158
I feel like this is either a failed self post, a fan post, or some weird vendetta post. I searched looking for the group on Instagram and this image is from May. They’ve posted more recently. It’s a dumb point by why not post an actual photo. Second, in terms of performance they aren’t even that bad? I think compared to a lot of groups they’re good. What exactly about them is sad to watch again?
>>
>>9742984
>>9743005
Why are they featured in these threads so much?
>>
>>9748240
Because they’re terrible and happen to be the most active.
>>
>>9748240
easy drama, basically. they're somewhat active and they always make empty promises and do cringey shit, so it's basically a goldmine.
>>
New interlunium video showing how it came to be I guess. I don't really like how they already have nicknames for their fans? I haven't finished watching yet but I guess it's interesting.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAhRqnrpxHk
>>
>>9748375
I don’t mind the name but it was something fans in the discord brought up and after collecting some ideas they had a vote. Lunelas was the chosen name. Personally I don’t think there’s a reason for a fandom name since most Japanese idol groups don’t have them. But hey the fans wanted one so...
>>
>>9748371
>>9748268
I'm relatively new to these threads, anyone want to sum up previous drama/info about them?

>Stellure formed in late 2016, originally intended to be a My Little Pony x Love Live idol group
>January 2017, they announce their debut for March 4th
>March 5th, they announce that the debut is postponed until April 1st

can someone explain to me the popularity of love live over idolmaster? I don't watch either anime but the music, design, and games seem better in idolmaster's case in many ways, yet no one covers them
>>
New to this thread and odottemita in general, so sorry in advance if this a stupid spoon-feeding type would f question, but I was wondering if anyone could give me some remmendations for people to follow that I could try to dance along to? I can’t play in my Kinect anymore, but like dancing for exercise.
