I really wish they had edited the field shots to make them look more vibrant, the grass looks pretty dingy. Aside from that and a few general timing issues, I really liked their performance!

>>
>>9841282

>>
>>9841282
iRis doesn’t deserve this
>>
So how long will it be until we see weebs trying to form a band because or bandori?
>>
>>9842142

It costs way more than getting a couple of Taobao cosplay premades and calling it a day. Plus moving all of the equipment
>>
>>9842433
Kind of seems like small nitpicking? What'd Taobao ever do to you anon.

>>9842142
Probably none since being in a band actually takes talent, and much more money. I can't see any group be willing to put that much effort in.
>>
>>9842540

The effort required if anything else. I think Taobao offers good outfits but its the factory feel that gets me.
>>
>>9842540
>>9842580
Yeah Taobao nitpicking mostly comes from the fact that all these Love Live net idol groups want nothing more than to be the coolest and most popular, so rather than putting any kind of effort in and making outfits, it's easier to dance around in something they bought for $40. Super annoying when they take competition slots to ~perform~ in the stuff they bought!
>>
>>9840877
I saw one of their post, their logo looks cute
>>
>>9843117
i don't care either if a group made their outfits or not , I will watch them if they dance well not cause their outfit is handmade

If you're talking about groups performing at masquerade tho , yeah I do find it odd...In canadians cons that I know : making your costume is a requirement.
I just learned that its not like that in all conventions it sound unfair....
>>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1e4ycR3HYo
this make me embarassed
>>
>>9843634
the only one remotely good is nozomi and even she needs some work
>>
>>9843117
Since when did it matter if a /dance group/ made their outfits or not? You can be a cosplayer and performer without also being a seamstress.

>>9843628
Where I live the only requirement for the Skit Contest is that you perform a skit. For people who want to be judge solely on their craftsmanship, you can enter a separate competition where a skit isn't required.
>>
>>9843634
I can’t help but wonder if the Eli would be better without those dang heels
>>
>>9843634
they're too embarrassed..... Why even do it if you don't want to? I think they're okay, but none of them look happy to be doing this..... or maybe they just need more time in front of the camera/ppl to become more comfortable? Also all the costume color differences bothers me
>>
>>9843739
I hear that some prizes can be either given to skit performer or craftmanship so that where it can get unfair dunno if that's the case of all cons tho
>>
>>9843858
Definitely not all. Where I'm from they have prizes for both sections, Craftsmanship and Performance.
>>
>>9841245
ew what the hell is that

is honk wearing a tent or is the girl just shaped like that????
>>
>>9844096
oh wait just kidding tthats supposed to be yume no tobira isnt it
>>
>>9843858
where i'm from there's separate prizes for craftsmanship and performance. However if your performance is spot on amazing, it is still possible to win best in show. It's harder if you didn't make your costumes though of course but i've seen it done (it was well deserved due ti being a creative performance).
>>
>>9843634
I do not understand whatsoever when a love live cosplay group dances...kpop? Why not just cover the song normally, I don't get it
>>
>>9844490
people want to see the characters dance to those songs I guess? who knows
>>
>>9843634
at least lip synce to the song if your going to do facial close ups
>>

>>
>>9839114
I thought the first video was meant as a joke until I checked the other videos of her channel... does she really think she's an idol?! lol
>>
>>9844490
I think it’s due to the overlap between the LL and Kpop fanbases
>>
>>9845138
I don't normally like the Kpop/LL crossovers people do but this one's definitely not bad. I wish the Maki had the same skirt as the others though, and the Nozomi really needs to be more energetic. Switching between the devil set and their uniforms is pretty cute.

Flusay Girls are considered idols...this girl is better than them at least...
>>

Surprised since during the Hallyu, kpop was everything Jpop and jidols wasnt. How A-Rise and Trigger were rivals for that reason.

Then kpop switched fully to the more wholesome energetic feel with Twive and Apink...
>>
When I imagine LL crossovers, >>9845513 last video is what it should be. It feels more exciting and natural seeing LL cover other J-Pop idols. K-Pop and LL will never make sense no matter how much these korean fetishing underage girls want it to be.

Charisma. Become a model if you have more visual looks, singer if more singing skills, dancer if more dancing skills.

I hate midwestern cons so much.
>>
>>9846081
it's not a bad idea? I just hate that most of these "idol" comps use idol anime as the base.
>>
>>9846094
That’s the part that gets me, besides actually reading the rules and a lot of it seems a bit too restrictive for a pretty last minute competition, otherwise it would be fun!
>>
>>9845926
I disagree because most idols aren't very good at dancing/singing. They're a personality with good looks and energy, which is why these older men support them

yikes
>>
>>9853191
This isn't bad? It needs work but honestly? I like this! The stage is cool too.

The breakdown part with Yohane, You and Chika was .... weird, You and Chika were fine it was the Yohane was OFF and did not know what she was doing, I guess Im biased but You was great.
>>
>>9852601
Lack of energy, lack of basic stage performance skills (not adjusting hair, not smiling, not looking at the floor/ceiling, not looking at others, etc.), and no sharpness of movements, especially in the arms. So, you end up with a floppy-armed, awkward girl who’s pushing her wig out of her face every five seconds and looks completely lost. A lot of girls need to work on their sense of rhythm as well, so they’re actually dancing to the beat and not going too fast/slow.
>>
>>9853209
Did we watch the same video? This is definitely up there in the top 3 of horrible "Daydream Warrior" covers.
>>
>>9853191
It really lacks sharpness and this is definitely a case where deciding the center based on dance skill instead of just keeping the same person as the same character every dance would have been a better choice.
>>
>>9853400
Definitely. I thought that the Kanan would have been better as the center, she seemed more into it than the other members
>>
Someone please help Luna
>>
>>9853577
Also on Stellure’s ig story. Very idol like
>>
>>9853282
it's definitely not though? They could be more in sync of course and sharpness/timing could be better. Ignoring the cool stage and looking at the dancing/personas, it's not terrible.

>>9853753
I think they’re cute. For whatever reason I feel like Jun and Nana aren’t native French speakers (you can literally tell everyone else is) but my favorite is the vanilla one.
>>
>>9853736

I think what anon was getting at was that she keeps getting put with bad wigs. The previous one was just plain ugly with the green and brown, but that colour of green on its own would have been fine.
This time they've given her a mint one which doesn't work with her skin tone.
>>
>>9853753

The pink one annoys me (original member), the other girls are trying to introduce themselves and she just can't seem to keep her hands still or to herself while they're trying to do it, especially during Nana's intro.
>>
>>9853822
They're all Canadian, that's why some have french-sounding accents and some have american-sounding accents.
>>
>>9853827
This wig was her choice though and I personally think it’s really cute? I don’t know so much about it not matching her skin tone either. It’s not a bad choice and she’s happy with her choice too. I think it fits her well compared to Mimi or Astra.
>>
>>9853844
It’s more the way they speak than their actual voices. Like they learned in school vs though life.
>>
>>9853777
I think she sounds nervous but I think she does sound very good! I don't see the cringe?
>>
>>9853829
Now that you've mentioned it I couldn't stop watching her because of it, and it wasn't in a good way. It's like she was constantly trying to get attention to herself when the other members were speaking.

The peach member looks dead inside, she is so shy she looks embarrassed to know what she has signed up for!
>>
>>9853777
attempting constructive crit
she needs energy, and lots of it.
learning how to move on stage would benefit her greatly. If running out of breath is causing her not to move, maybe not sing songs meant for 10+ people?
she needs a better clothing silhouette, the stuff she's wearing now doesn't flatter her in the slightest.
>>
>>9853577
I don't think this wig color is that bad (certainly better than her old one) but I really wish they'd trim the bangs. Even just a tiny bit of wig styling would really help them all.
>>
>>9853884
did we watch the same video lol
shes completely off tune and quaking, not making any effort at all to have a decent stage presence. shes also obviously straining her voice
>>
>>9854021

I just wish it was the same shade of mint as the previous one since it was warmer and suited her skin tone better, this one just seems to be eating her head/face.

>>9853857

We don't know that for sure or what goes on behind the scenes. In either case, it was the wrong choice.
>>
>>9854144
I mean except we do because she literally wanted to change, asked if people liked it, and asked if it’d remind everyone of Ruby and it was one of her fears. You not liking it doesn’t mean it was a wrong choice, you just don’t like it. I also agree with >>9854021
>>
>>9854246

I dunno anon, it is an ugly wig. Though I'm of the opinion that they should scrap the funky coloured wigs and opt for natural ones or use their own hair if theirs are usable.
>>
>>9853886

Yeah, while it's good to have a charismatic member to lead videos like this, it isn't good when she's stealing the thunder of other members. They're trying to emulate Japanese mannerisms as well which is super off-putting when it's done by someone who isn't Japanese.
>>
>>9853753
Anybody know what song they used in the BG for this? I feel like I know it but the name is escaping me.
>>
>>9854571
In the description, it's only written Felipe Vilches. from a quick google search, it looks like he is in the music production team for 4te but I haven't found anything else.
>>
This is hysterical.
>>
>>9855420
Sorry but no it’s really not? I’m someone who never shys away from making fun of groups (I used to make a lot of fun of Stellure and still kind of do), but this group doesn’t seem to deserve the hate? It just seems wrongly placed? Their two covers aren’t even that bad so I don’t get why someone thought to make this, joke or not.

>>9855743

Maybe because Mimi is enough of an egotistical bitch to make anything and everything about her.

> doesn’t mean it’s okay to hate on a group in any way.

Is the East Coast scene really that bad?

https://www facebook com/ZeusLoveLive/videos/946602422131063/

https://www facebook com/ZeusLoveLive/videos/946595548798417/
>>
>>9857313
I’m honestly pretty convinced that Zeus, overall, is an exception not part of a rule (the ‘rule’ being east coast just sucks and west just is better).
>>
Inspired by that dumpster fire HPT performance, what's everyone's biggest pet peeves when it comes to covers/performances?
Mines is when either they can't idol step in time with the music/with everyone else (like seriously it's not that hard to catch the beat, it's emphasized in the song ffs) or when everyone else is looking sideways/at a 45 degree angle/down and someone (who isn't the center or singing) is looking at the audience and they're not supposed to.
>>
What the fuck is idol step
>>
>>9856830
its stuff like this that puts me off from making groups. I would so make a group if it wasn't for the fact that people aren't committed to properly practice let alone even come to practice. I might aswell just dance solo to J-pop and vocaloid songs.

but seriously that Riko looks like a mess...
>>
>>9857526
my biggest pet peeves is the dancer's body language and facial expressions, it just puts a downer to the dance especially if its suppose to be a bubbly happy song. I do also agree that idol step in time with the music/everyone else is also another one. I feel bad for my friend who didn't like to dance before she got into LL but now she wants to dance but she's completely out of sync, i need to spend more time teaching her.
>>
>>9857526
I absolutely despise it when girls move their hair out of the way and mess with their costume when they’re dancing. They usually look to the side when they do it, and it makes them look super unfocused and uncomfortable.

I also hate when girls don’t focus on sharpening their arm movements, or have arm movements too sharp for the song (one of the few ChaiChiMelody covers I dislike is her Chica x Chica, because she looks so stiff during it). In my theatre experiences, we always called the former “chicken arms.”
>>
>>9857799
Her Romeo and Cinderella cover is also pretty bad
>>
>>9855793
Oh my god I’m guessing this is the same anon that brings up the age requirement every time someone disagrees with you. People can have differing opinions from you lolol stop trying to get people in trouble, there’s no point to it and frankly it just seems pathetic. (And overall embarrassing for you when you evidently get the ages wrong)
>>
>>9857830
>waaah someone disagrees with my immature opinion that makes me sound 12 so I'm gonna put the blame on a random anon to show how much i dont care about it! Look how superior I am for standing up to the 4chan bullies!

Thats how you sound right now.
>>
>>9857851
I haven’t put any of my opinions on here lolol this is my first contribution to the group, I’m making a observation. Again with the assumptions lmao
>>
>>9857851
Also, no blame, just observing that it’s really immature to immediately make incorrect assumptions on somebodies age just from the way they talk.
>>
>>9856830
i had to stop the video 5 times to watch pro idol performances to prevent from me losing brain cells
>>
>>9857830
you really sound like Mimi
>>
>>9857830
if this is mimi id like to ask how the east coast scene manages to be so terrible
>>
>>9857911
Not mimi, I’m from the UK and not in the idol scene as a performer. I observe the goings on though as I attend regular conventions and am friends with one or two of these self claimed idols
>>
>>9857925

And you're not doing us (Brits) any favours. Our community is trash and so are most people associated with it so pipe down.

Also while you're at it lose the Lol's and lmao's. They're typical verbal ticks which lead gulls to think the poster is underage - just a heads up if you continue to visit 4chan and you don't want your butt grilled for breakfast.
>>
>>9857899
>>9857830
The dead giveaway that this is Mimi is the “lolol.” I’ve only ever seen her use that, usually when she talks about 4chan or Stellure haters.
>>

new flusay girls release. theyre doing a net idol collab thing now, its not as bad as i thought it would be (probably because of jazi)

>>9857979
Nah mate I’m gunna type however I want to. And I don’t really care about the reputation we have desu, why should it bother me when I’m barely part of the community. I’ll type how I wanna type thanks, it has no relevance to the fact that someone’s incorrectly assuming people’s ages

>>
>>9858139
Naaaah it’s just amusing seeing you all get so triggered over some anonymous stranger off the internet haha
>>
Starting a dance cover group with a friend soon, just wondering everyone's opinion on which they like better;
A. A cover with a still camera showing the full dance without cutaways or,
B. A cover with a moving camera showing many different angles
>>
>>9858139
Well I was talking about the cringe but no one replied to me....
>>
>>9858464
Can you dance without messing up and are your movements good? Still camera
Do you mess up a lot and movements are a bit stiff? Different angles and cuts.
Otherwise depends what kind of feeling you want to give.
>>
>>9858464
Cut always that make it feel more like a music video are more preferable imo. Even good dances can get kinda boring if it’s the same shot.
>>
>>9858441
Again, thats literally everyone including the ones who try to trigger someone else.

>>9858464
To me, I prefer varying shots but it depends on what you want to do. Do you want to show off the dance? Do a stationary camera. Do you want to make it like a MV? Use a variety of shots.
>>
>>9858470
>>9858481
>>9858490
We dance for fun, but if we're gonna do it, we might as well get it looking good. So we're probably gonna do multiple angle shots but no close ups because we don't really feel that doing a closeup lip sync to the camera will really add to the video and the idea is sorta cringy to us

And what makes you click on a dance cover video?
Is it the song, idol, thumbnail, dancers etc...

Let me tell you: It’s really boring to see someone just dancing and smiling. Lip sync hint adds a LOT even if it’s a stationary camera. Lip syncing and expressions go hand in hand. It’s not cringy if you do it properly.

When I click on a video, it usually a song I’m familiar with or have never heard of. The thumbnail and dancers don’t really matter much since I’m there for the song and dance vs the visuals or the people.

Oh, I meant a closeup where you're lip syncing and not dancing, but doing the idol hands thing like in a real mv

If you’re dancing, then you wouldn’t need those close up shots anyway. But don’t forget that music videos also have close ups of the dancers while dancing.
