taste great but i don't want throat cancer
>>
IF YOU SNUS
>>
I enjoy it. It is way more convenient than dipping and I dont have to deal with a dry throat the whole time I'm using it.

Snus has no link to any cancer, and America actually just did another study into non-smoked tobacco and found the same thing. It's the addition of heat and inhaling the smoke that causes cancer and other health problems. Tobacco is in itself harmless. You can take the dried leaves and eat them every day and you wouldn't get cancer. But if you roll those leaves up and smoke them there is a good chance you will get cancer or other health problems.

btw on the downside it burns a lot when you first try it and I think it fucks with your gums a lot if you leave it in for a long time like I do.
>>
>>10899316
maybe so but i it also caused my gum line to recede so i've got some tooth sensitivity.

is there a difference between snus, snuff, and dip with respect to cancer probability?

General mint is my go-to, but when I order it online I like the strong shit like odens and siberia. Also you can't really find loose snus in the US anymore. General stopped selling it here which is kind of a shame.
>>
>>10899323
Snus is safer than dip, there is no confirmed link with any form of cancer and snus as far as I know. Don't know anything about nasal snuff.

we get it brah, you support the 1A

Dip you have to be careful of. American tobacco companies add a TON of chemicals to flavor their tobacco. The data is conflicted for US dip, but the general consensus was that the unflavored dips were risk free. As for the gum recession, I haven't heard of that ever happening. It might be the pouch material. If you get dry portions it can cause some damage. That's why I prefer original and loose portions

Was the only pic I had with snus in it. 99% of my time is on /k/ so there ya go.
>>
>>10899227

Pic related gives me a freaking boner it's so good, I'd love to talk snus with my /ck/ bros
>>
>>10899425
No, dip can be bought in pouches but it isn't snus. It is prepared in a different way than dip. You don't have to spit with it..
>>
>>10899462
Damn, used to know an old guy who would swallow his dip, always thought he was fucking crazy, but he did it fine

BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T SNUS
>>
Cancer powder is neither food nor cooking. get this shit off the board. and take the fucking sipfags with you.
>>
>>10899534
Actually it is. Snus is treated the same as food products by the FDA. Now go back to posting in your fast food shill general.
>>
Tobacco isn't food mate
>>
>>10899337
causes my gums to start pulling away within a day of use or so, anon.
>>
>>10899433
I bought a few cans on my last order because all the snus users I know love it. I couldn't into the flavor at all. It was like the creamy wintergreens I've had. Tastes good, but it's too strange to know why I like it
>>
>>10899576
Sounds like it's the snus pouch. I recommend ordering some loose snus and trying that. If your gums react the same then you know it's your gums having a reaction to the snus and not the pouch. Or just cut open a pouch you have and make a prila with the snus inside
>>
>>10899227
I dip Copenhagen Mint and vape but I have been wanting to try snus.

Any good easly available brands in the US? All I see is camel in gas stations, is the best option ordering online?
>>
>>10899586
prila?
>>
>>10899604
Means portion. Take some loose tobacco and make it into a tight ball or whatever shape you want in your hand, then place it where you normally put your snus

Pretty much every speedway in America carries General. It's always in a cooler in the store. Ordering online is your best bet though. You are extremely extremely limited if you don't. There are thousands of brands and flavors online. In America it's pretty much just General, and only the most basic flavors with no loose. Even factoring in the $30 shipping to America, if you buy in bulk you save almost $2 per can. My speedway sells General for $6.50. Online I buy it for $38 a roll.

Seeing a lot of 1911 here. Went with a Dan Wesson and cigars instead of snus myself though.
>>
>>10899703
Those are both mine. I had a dan wesson but traded it for a Les Baer custom 1911 that I have out for engraving right now. What kind of cigars anon? I sometimes indulge in them
>>
anyone ever try an anal snus?
>>
>>10899831
No, but I got spun and put one in my foreskin for a little while. It tingled like tiger balm. Wouldn't recommend.
>>
>>10899227
I knew a Scandinavian who had one in his mouth every other minute. I tried it like a dozen or so times. Fucking disgusting. No idea how people get hooked on this shit. I got it for free and hated it.
It's just all kinds of wrong OP.
