I never saw a person making a hamburger with spam in my life
>>
Looks disgusting
>>
I love Spam. Quickly turns to hate after I've had one whole slice.
>>
I'd be embarrassed to pick up a can of spam and walk around the store with it.
I've never been hungry enough to try it.
>>
>>9971443
Thats because hamburgers are made with ground beef dumbass.
What you see on the can of spam n cheese sandwich.
>>
>>9971495
this desu
Maybe it's because I grew up with it, but I actually enjoy it like once a year. More than that and it's unbearable.
>>
>>9971519
You just put it in your cart or basket. No one is going to give a shit.

>>9971495
>>9971555
I know this feeling well. But spam musubi is a weakness of mine. Even then I only buy like 2 or maybe 3 cans a year.
>>
>>9971522
it's called a spamburger you stupid faggot
>>
>>9973186
>spamburger
but its not a burger it's a sandwich.
Burger is short for hamburger or cheeseburger.
>>
If you actually ate a slice of spam that thick, you'd pass out from the sodium content.
>>
spam is expensive.

at least in my state, you can buy the same weight of fresh hamburger or deli ham for cheaper.
>>
>>9973239
>Your made up word is wroooooooong!
>>
>>9974576
Spam is specifically not beef, it's not burger. It has nothing to do with your lack of understanding.
>>
>>9973186
>knowing the name of spam related dishes
You're the faggot, retard
>>
Bitch it is not a hamburger. It is a sandwich named the spamburger. Do you fucking have autistic fits over a monte cristo
>>
>>9971443
my mom used to slice it, batter it, and deep fry it

I've made dozens of "all meat on a bun is not a burger" threads to annoy Australians over the past few years, but I'm going to have to disagree with you here. A burger is any sandwich made with a ground protein patty, not just beef. Since spam is ground meat, I'd say spam on a bun with burger toppings is a spamburger.

Koreans love them some SPAM.
>>
What does spam even taste like? I'm kind of ashamed that I've never had it as an American.
>>
>>9975769
Extremely salty pork meatloaf.
>>
>>9975755
too much spam. i only eat about 3 slices before the salt wall hits me. also blonde asians look retarded.
>>
>>9971443
Try buying the single slice packs they sell for like a dollar. Fry it up in a pan and serve like a burger, you might like it or you may not. I like spam, but I cant seem to eat an entire can before it goes bad. I usually dice mine up real small and serve with scrambled eggs as a nice hangover cure.
>>
>>9975769
Smell oscilates between dog and cat food, tastes overwhelmingly of salt, and the texture makes me think of mattress foam or a bedroll.
>>
>>9975882
If you can't finish it, you can freeze it. Whenever I open a can, I usually just slice up the entire thing, cook a few slices, and freeze the rest, defrtosting and eating them every now and then.
>>
>>9975755
>she doesn't finish it all
not my asian cutie

Also it's so weird that the name is mukbang. That sounds like some filthy ass porn genre involving vomiting or some shit.

Spam is the retarded cousin of scrapple and goetta.
>>
>>9975741
That seems like a lot of food. Is that for one person?
>>
>>9975882
I like the single serve spam slices because they fit perfectly in my pie iron.
I don't think that's a coincidence.
>>
>>9973239
Wrong.

That's a pretty weird way to make musubi, and kind of incomplete instructions for something so simple (you have to use sticky kine rice). Everyone I've seen in Hawaii who doesn't own a musubi press cuts the bottom out of the spam tin and uses the lid to press the rice down (it should be packed relatively tight). I also always preferred pic related style, with rice on both sides, and a full half sheet of nori that covers the entire thing.
>>
>>9977096

While I don't disagree with you in general, what the fuck is a chicken burger? Turkey burgers are a thing, but I don't think I've ever in my life encountered anything called a chicken burger.

A salty pork sausage
Very weird soft texture though
>>
I bought 2 cans of spam today. I always have spam in the pantry. But, I live on the west coast, where Hawaiian food is everywhere, and I'm hooked on Hawaiian breakfast- rice, fried spam, Portuguese sausage, eggs, and a small scoop of mac salad. I don't always have all that, though. Usually I make a condensed version - 2 slices of fried crispy lower-sodium Spam, rice, two sunny side up eggs, and some toasted nori on the side. Good fucking stuff.

For me, it's the McChicken

That's a much more legit recipe than >>9977314

The teriyaki is typically 1:1 shoyu and sugar, with just a little mirin and/or ginger.

>>9971443
I eat spam like 3 times a week. And have added to a burger as a topping. I however have never thought of grinding it into burger tho. I imagine it would become too soft to hold its shape
>>
>>9971443
Having done it, it's pretty good.
If you leave the cheese and onion off it's basically a BLT but with spam.

>all these people compensating hardcore and pretending they've had spam and dislike it
If you did dislike it, remember you're supposed to cook it in some manner. Otherwise it's like eating a raw hotdog.
