Decided to man up and shave in down real short and grow matching beard.

Never gotten more miles and pay in my life. Literally saw 3 different MILFs with their mouths open staring at me shopping at Target last weekend.

I started shaving my head at 24 after years of anxiety and worrying about gradual balding. I can only speak for myself but apart from lifting it's the best decision I have ever made in terms of feeling better about my appearance.

if you have the alleles for baldness and they're homozygous or equally heterozygous and homozygous, then you're fucked
>>
>>46037798
not coping, im the only man in the family with hair but i figured that because my grandfather on my moms side had real thicc hair i would survive, but i guess not when the day comes i just shave it off and rock the beard basedboy look
>fyi i had almost % of mucles genetics posetive,
>>
>>46037833
nah im okey it says l 7x risk of baldness among men, according to. Baldness ("androgenic alopecia") was defined as Hamilton grade V-VII alopecia seen in men between the ages of 35 and 65. The ability of this genoset to rule out going bald is reportedly high (in other words, if you are not positive for gs122, odds are good you will not go bald), but it is lacking in specificity (negative predictive value = 96.5%, positive predictive value = 12.2%, sensitivity = 98.2%, specificity = 6.6%). so i guess i have like 10 years plus, and by then who cares about my hair

after a man loses his hair what left does he have to lose?
>>
>>46038245

>>
>>46038242
what does mk-677 do? does it have sides? how's your bloodwork?
>>
>>46038419
It's a ghrelin mimetic and it helps to release pulses of gh and increases igf-1. People use it for faster joint/muscle recovery, slight muscle building, vastly better sleep, better skin, staying lean on a bulk or cut etc.

The sides are basically the same as a much milder dose of hgh (swollen hands, increased appetite, decreased insulin sensitivity)

Only thing that really changed in my bloodwork is igf-1 levels are up, which means it's working from what I've seen.
>>
>>46038519
Is it suppressive at all? Does it affect your test levels?

I see we have some /frauds/ in here.
Can someone answer the question?
To restate: Are 5 years of creatine (or test without 5 alpha whatever blockers) enough DHT to burn all the sensitive follicles on your head before hitting 30?

Source on creatine raising DHT: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19741313
>>
>>46038596
No, that's why many people run it on it's own. No PCT or anything like that needed either. If it affects your test levels (anecdotally mine have gone up, but I know levels fluctuate based on a lot of factors) it would be from the improved quality of life (probably the sleep and better recovery).

Balding is nothing bad.
80% of men are going to be balding at some point.
What's making you miserable and unattractive is not your hair but the way you deal with it.

It's literally the perfect opportunity to show emotional strength (besides lifting): it's not your fault and you make the best out of it.

By the way my cousin decided to take fin instead of shaving and has a limp dick even though he stopped taking it.
>>
>>46033782
Very cool!
>>
>>46033782

Go to what works. Minoxidil and finasteride.

Start one or ideally both products (minoxidil before finasteride, finasteride being the superior product) if you are:

Shedding aggressively, which decidedly is not the potential result of a diet change
Exhibiting a clearly receding hairline

It is clear that most men don't keep track of their hair loss, and oftentimes it is too late to facilitate regrowth. While minoxidil and to a greater extent, finasteride can provide regrowth, reaction to the drugs are highly individualistic. There have been individuals who have a confirmed legitimate product, who have not responded to minoxidil or finasteride at all, not even on the front of side effects.

The side effects of both drugs are highly individual but suffice it to say, they affect a very vocal minority.

The side effects of Minoxidil include (but are not limited to):
unwanted facial/body hair
dizziness
fast/irregular heartbeat
fainting
chest pain
swelling of hands/feet
unusual weight gain
tiredness
difficulty breathing especially when lying down.
Finasteride is an FDA approved medication to treat hair loss but it can result in side effects including, but not limited to:

impotence,
loss of interest in sex,
trouble having an orgasm,
abnormal ejaculation,
swelling in your hands or feet,
swelling or tenderness in your breasts,
dizziness,
weakness,
feeling like you might pass out,
headache,
runny nose, or
skin rash.

It's now or never OP. You can stop the progress, but not reverse it.
>>
>>46039460
You forgot the worst of all: Gyno
>>
>>46033782
drink a lot of water
eat a lot of fruits and vegetables
exercise everyday
stop using shampoo containing SLS and other sulfur chemicals and switch to an organic one with coconut oil
massage your scalp to get blood flowing properly
dont shampoo everyday, twice as week at most
get junk food out of your diet
your hair will stop thinning and look better within 1 month
>>
>>46039477

I've copypasted this shit from the looksmax forum. That being said, I'm not balding (My gf is a hair loss counselor and I love chemistry so we talk about fin a lot). I don't believe gyno is a legitimate concern or a potential side effect of reducing DHT. Then again I'm literally just a guy.

But if I had to say if it's worth the risk? Totally. Don't leave your appearance to fate. It dictates every aspect of your life. Not just how women perceive you. The belief your life would be somehow the same or better without hair is a massive COPE. We are lucky enough to live in a time where we have some agency over how our genes are expressed, particularly our hair, and it would be foolish not to spare it the wrath of aging.
>>
>>46039560
How do you actually know if you're balding?

My hairline's receded at the temples but it isn't a V shape yet and I have no crown balding (I'm 22).
My dad didn't start balding till his late 30s and his dad has a full head of hair, while my maternal grandfather didn't bald significantly till 40+.

I think I'm safe until middle age at which point who the hell cares, but I can't help but be paranoid.
>>
>>46039589

Everyone's different. Your hair might stop where it is. I could keep recessing until you have scoop taken out of the front of your head. It's impossible tell based on looks alone. I guess the best you can do is photograph your hairline every six months and judge if its progressed more. If it has and you deem it unacceptable, the take action.
>>
>>46033782
well that's it i guess for you, better luck in next life
>>
>>46039560
What if I already tried finasteride for 15 months and minoxidil and they failed me? I'm on dutasteride now for 2 months
I talked to my therapist and he said women don't give a fuck about balding, that some may even like it since it signals high testosterone. He's normally a really rational guy too lol. I think he's coping because he's pretty bald himself.
>>
>>46039679
If you have the face and head shape for it being bald isn't a negative and might even be better for you, but that's very unlikely.

Your personality and social skills matter much more than anything else.
A large component of lookism is autists trying to cope with "a-a-at least I'm pretty!"

This. I'm gonna sound like a shill, but Koray Erdogan I included in my pic related earlier seems to deliver results similar to the extremely expensive American and European surgeons. DYOR research of course, but make sure the doctor (is actually a doctor) works in a certain manner:
>only grafts single hairs on hairline (doubles + Will look like plugs)
>All follicles are inspected under a microscope
>donor zone isn't over-harvested
Turkey has some EXTREMELY cheap clinics, but as an anon mentioned make sure it's not quack tier. Might as well spend 2-3k more for the high end doctors.
>>
>>46035891
Depends on doc/clinic, your hair density, and how much work You need done. You can fly to turkey from a price range of 1-4 Eur per graft. Expect 8-15$ per graft in North America/ Europe
