>>
>>61885516

Thuderbird is packed with features which I don't need.
>>
>>61885516
I don't use outdated software

>>
Whats the best email client for windows?

>>
>>61885750
You use NeXTStep too? I'm an IRIX man myself.
>>
>>61885774
???
With an RSS reader, you can get everything all in one simple interface and write filters for things you don't like so you never have to see them.

What's wrong with that?
>>
>>61885789
Why not just use seamonkey at that point.

Your addon won't work in a couple of months when 57 hits.
>>
>>61885832
i use pale meme
>>
>>61885685
Why can't Mozilla fund Thunderbird? They have so much money to push their political agenda yet they can't even maintain their other products?

please help

Your theme incompatible with gtk version
>>
>>61885516
I do. Its search sucks ass.
>>
What's the point of email applications outside of actual work?
>>
>>61886674
>>61887366
GTK is shit sometimes.

Looks like it's a GTK 2 theme but your WM theme only supports GTK 3 programs (or vice versa).

I seriously hope that GNOME makes a GOOD toolkit with GTK4 because BOTH 2 and 3 are horse shit. QT if fucking ugly and annoying to develop with also.

Web interfaces suck ass. Especially when you have multiple emails.
>>
>>61885516
Thunderbird seems okay, especially since they're not totally connected to SJWzilla.

What is an /g/ approved alternative?

Is there a Waterfox-esque Thunderbird?

I thought Pale Meme was still connected to the SJWs.
>>
>>61885744
outlook is pure cancer, it is astonishing how free software is better than outlook despite it not being free at all.
>>
I use it mainly for the rss reader
because I have only two emails and one of them is not supported (protonmail)

I tried many rss readers, but thunderbird is the best one

It might be old, but if you know how to use it is irreplaceable

It still continues to surprise me after ~2 years

Thunderbird...
>>
>>61887688
Oh well.
>>
>>61885516
It's pretty good though the RSS feed is pretty weird, not to mention when you delete emails you don't delete them on the actual server, I deleted emails (inb4 hillary) via thunderbird on gmail.com but after logging into the browser client the emails were still there.

Kmail.

Deluge for torrent client
HexChat/Thunderbird for IRC
VeraCrypt for your anime porn
QEMU/VirtualBox for your drug seeking desires
Telegram desktop
NotePad++ instead of botnet notepad

all these programs work for linux too, so be a good GNUub and install ubuntu
>>
why don't just use the browser?
>>

done

I prefer to use the superior Weechat

>Deluge for torrent client
Can you build qBittorrent on loonix? I used Deluge for a while before and it was shite, qBit was like a breath of fresh air and almost as good as uTorrent before it sold out. I'd love to be able to stick with it after switching.

t. Winfag vaguely considering switching to loonix
>>
>>61888357
That is why you fail.
>>
>>61888370

huh?
>>

>>
>>61888357
you clearly don't belong here

You've reached the promise land. I'm rocking the same pair and loving it
>>
>>61885828
don't mind him. RSS is still the most unintrusive way to get news updates. That's why there is still so many resourses that offer RSS feeds/

I'm always mindful of that, but I have to stay social.
>>
>>61893746
There are PLENTY of alternatives to fb and messenger apps.
>Metal
>Simple
>Friendly
>Facebook lite
If you want to stick to FOSS try faceslim or materialfbook. That is just what I can come up with off the top of my head.
>>
>>61893825
Will people I know use those? No. Then what's the point?
>>
>>61894127
Your friends don't need to use facebook lite, it's compatible with everything.
>>
>>61885516
I prefer claws-mail
>>
>>61894540
But they will still receive my messages. On their Facebook. Which Facebook records.

Help me understand, anon, I'm really trying.
>>
>>61885685
should be rebranded then
>>
>>61894558
Lite supposedly doesn't require all the permissions regular facebook and messenger apps demand.
>>
>>61894576
That's actually interesting. Thanks, I'll try it out.
