Is it KINO?
>>

Say what?

Nani?
>>
I don't know what KINO means but it really fucking fast, and the only two addons I use still work, so I'm VERY satisfied.
>>
>>63369226
it's slower than before and broke compatibility with every relevant extension. It's shit.

Like what? HTTPS everywhere, and UBlock Origin are working. What extensions are broken? Genuinely curious since I don't use many.

Kino means slow/crap in Japanese.
>>
I downgraded solely because Stylish now only lets you customize how webpages load and a very small portion of the UI. I've spent too much time and autism on my old scripts to let them go to waste like this.
>>
>>63369487
Then it definitely qualifies.
>>
>>63369333
Why it's not released yet?

Am I missing something or does greasemonkey no longer allow you to add custom scripts?

Not him but literally most of my addons are legacy like classic theme restorer or classic toolbar buttons

Does it remove the botnet features that were being added into Firefox?
Or does it add even more?
>>
A few gripes.
Firefox doesn't override the GTK+ theme like Chrome does. I want the tab strip at the very top. Chrome even gives the option to fall back to GTK+ titlebars if you want.

2. I thought you guys said it was actually faster this time around?
>>
Why is Google the default search engine now?
Did the contract with Yahoo run out, and Google is paying more?
Or did they switch because Yahoo literally does not work half the time?
I want to use whatever makes Mozilla the most money, but using Google feels dirty.

Once we have a duopoly, then we can think about diversifying.

Nothing special really, just an updated UI, and a few pages load marginally faster. What I really want to know is why is it that for a while now, Firefox opens in three different instances that take up a lot of resources? I've never once found a satisfactory answer on the subject while searching their forums.

Real talk, senpai, about two or three updates ago, Firefox started making some flash videos take longer to go fullscreen. Why and how do I fix this assuming both Firefox and Flash are both completely up to date?

>go on chaturbate
>want to watch mattress actress full screen

Youtube is also doing this now, but theirs takes a second or less to actually go full screen, so what gives and how do I stop this?

Yet the number one complaint about Quantum around here is fucking exhentai. Name one important extension you use that doesn't work now. One.
>>
So me, a chrome user, just got this and imprted all my bookmarks and re-added all my old extensions. With youtube videos playing, facebook open, and 4chan open on both browsers. The new firefox is using DOUBLE the memory and is consistently hogging more resources than chromes. Pages aren't even loading faster from what I can tell.
>>
Looks terrible and it disabled NoScript.

I downloaded it and lost 4chan X and Noscript. If they're not compatible by tomorrow morning I'll probably downgrade for my own convenience.

were you having a problem on the older version of firefox with 4chan X and greasemonkey where opening a picture or webm in a new tab would cause it not to load?

It's faster for me. When I did a speed test last week I was getting 1.8MB/s down, now I'm getting 2.1MB/s.

No it's actually a clean way to parallelize operations. It does improve performances.

In your case it actually makes Firefox look better. I always hated how Chrome couldn't show off the fancy titlebars on Windows 2000.

This. Also keep in mind, some addons have replacements. e.g. Violentmonkey instead of Greasemonkey.

it's a term from /tv/, referring the german word for "movie theater" in terms of a really, really great movie.
