I really like how clears get way heavier at the bottom because I'm a key slammer. Is there a linear switch that does this? What if I put a red stem in a clear housing to remove the bump?
>>
>>63710525
i guess custom springs with a asymmetrical force where the lower rings are much harder?
>>
>>63710525
Yes, it will. That's a property of the springs in clears, so just swapping the slider to a linear one will result in a high-resistance linear that ramps up heavily after actuation.

Does anyone make a multi system wireless keyboard with decent switches?
I have kind of an odd setup on my desk. I have a laptop that I dock when home, a desktop I use for actual work/rendering, and I have an old iMac I tinker around with and test Linux distros on. I want to have just one keyboard on my desk to use with everything. Logitech has some mutlisystem keyboards but all I've seen have been pretty low quality.

Is there anything on the market that would fit my odd needs?

Got my Tealios yesterday, mounted them in the Zeal60 board with holtite attachments and a carbon fibre plate.
Pretty disappointed with the holtites desudesu senpaitachi; I was hoping to have a solid hot-swappable board, but pulling caps off the switches usually rips the whole switch out, and I'm not committed enough to solder them on yet.
Was hoping to put the Teals on a 75%, but can't decide which one.

Cherry blues and reds have the same actuation point tho. Heck with cherry blues you can hover right at the actuation point and double tap really fast
>>
>>63717114
>Topres feel nothing like membranes

They do tho, because the membrane is irrelevant to the feel. Both are domes, both feel pretty much the same.
>>
>>63717173
You're confusing rubber domes with membranes. All what membranes are is electrical contacts on a flat sheet. They feel nothing like topres because topres aren't flat the last time I checked, they're more like rubber cups.
>>
>>63717198
Obviously. The thing is, being capacitive or membrane has zero impact on the feel.

If you just trow away your overpriced capacitive PCB and replace it with a shitty membrane, it will feel exactly the same.
>>
>>63717281
Then why are you saying topres feel like membranes

Mod-h tactile,x clear, ergo clear, zealio, topre vs gateron blue, box white, kailh place blue, tealio

>>63717359
Tealios are linears, also if you want a tactile switch you're going to want alps or topre because cherry style tactile switches are terrible. The kailh clickbar switches are great clicky switches though if you wan to use a clicky switch.

There is literally not a single reason for this keyboard, aside from having a special snowflake form factor, to not have a f-row.

F-row makes no fucking difference for muh extra mouse space fags, and having a numpad kills all the portability a 60% would have.

Also, flat SA is probably one of the worst keycap profiles ever made.

Das pro 4 at home, I like it

Looking for something to use at work. 60% is it off the question - I'm a software developer, so cursor and function keys are required.
Wireless is high on my list of priorities as I must use a 2017 MacBook and no ports

I wouldn't recommend a vortex core because it's not fully programmable.

At the 40% form factor it's basically a must to be able to fully program your keys since you're reliant on layers.

what would you then recommend, chad?

I don't know man, there's some diy kit on taobao/AliExpress called the ymd40 but I have no idea if it's good or not.

Kbdfans also sells a 40% kit called the niu mini that's fully programmable and they have decent customer service if you can get past the language barrier in case you don't like it or want to return it.

There's also the mechmini which I've seen being sold second hand for around $100.

Minivan seems overpriced at $200 ish for a 40% keyboard.

This is just info from osmosis so if you want anecdotal experience from someone who actually owns a 40% you'll have to wait for someone else to respond.

Been looking for a decent small board with bluetooth and I think I found it.

https://www.massdrop.com/buy/keywalker-68-bluetooth-mechanical-keyboard

Anybody know if this is a good board?

Side question; Does the Tada68 or the Saber68 have bluetooth? or at least an "easy" fix to get this?

Do you know any other boards wich fit my criteria? Criterias: small (30-ish cm), with bluetooth, and preferably with arrow keys also.

>>

that Bluetooth is it better than the anne pro?
>>
>>63724331
And it needs to be small so it can be easily passed around at a get-together. It's instantly more slick to give someone a cute little keyboard to type in their youtube request or whatever instead of a bulky monstrosity.
>>
>>63724372
The tada pro just uses bluetooth 4.0, if your device doesn't support at least bluetooth 3.0 you might have some problems
>>
>>63724348
And where do I find the Tada68 Pro?

Found this site, but the price is a joke, right? 499 YEN? It's basically free....

>>
>>63724436

Here the price is still 499 YEN but says 75.55 USD, which is not what 499 YEN is in USD. More like 4 USD.

75.55 USD seems like a better price.

Aluminum cases will get you different key feels and typing sounds. Many greatly prefer them.
More premium brands like Leopold and Filco have thick plastic cases which give it a very solid feeling when you type.
