run virtual machines on startup
never close your workflow
never close your too many tabs
switch between work and gaming without needing to close anything

basically you can be more irresponsible and think less about what your computer is doing. if this saves you enough mental bandwidth that you can get more things done, it's worth it. otherwise it's retarded.

I've yet to have any situation where I've used more than 11GB, and that's with a heavily modded game running.

You joke, but I have 300 tabs open in Chrome using 21.5 GB.

Meanwhile FF56 can usually give me 800+ tabs without exceeding 8 GB.
>>
>>63725899

It's like you guys don't know what a scratch/cache disk is and you dare to talk about datacenters?

What the fuck do you do with a workstation? Work.
DAW and video workstations need very fast and big scratch/cache disks. Reliability is the least of your problems.
