>Literally no difference.
Meme resolutions exist only for the purpose of advertising to normies.

They are pushing technology forward and that's all that matters. I still have a 720p phone tho, will only upgrade if it stops working.
>>
>>63734843
I notice it instantly in 3d games. 720p on a 1440p screen is not pretty.

High resolutions are nice for GearVR/Cardboard though.

In fact can't wait for 8K phones.

Maybe you should try it on a screen bigger than your favorite Poptart.
>>
>>63735006
In fact nobody gives a shit past 1080p except retards
>>
Anything bigger than 1080p on a phone screen is simply retarded, the phone must do more hardware usage to render all your shit at these very high resolutions and will drain the battery more faster. That's why the galaxy s8/note8 have even worse screen on time battery life than its predecessors.
>>
>>63738033
Just imagine how much of a best would a S8 be with a 1080p screen

5.7 inch 1440p phone here and I care.

It's not as obvious as the jump from HD to FullHD but it's still noticeable against my old 5.5 inch FHD screen, especially with text.

Why would you play games on a phone?

Faggots gonna fag.

I have a Gear and notice the pixels as well. I'd say 1440p is good enough for phones unless you do VR. 4k VR will be a pretty cool upgrade though.

When will 1080p IPS become the standard?
>>
>>63741528
It already is if you're not poor or if you buy a chinktop.
