Hey guys. I use HDMI to VGA adaptor to connect my GTX 1060 to 1360X768 VGA monitor. The adaptor can cause little stutter/screen tearing/frame time differences or i'm crazy and it's just placebo? Thank you and sorry for my english!

Yes it will cause issues, get a powered adapter if you actually want it to work correctly but for the most part digital to analogue conversion is shit without getting an expensive adapter.

At a certain point buy a new monitor or buy a new graphics card for your machine.

No man, i had a gaming laptop until november and that's my old monitor. I'm going to buy a new one but i just want to know if adaptor can cause stutter, frame time difference and stuff like that or is just me

I understand. So even if a buy a 60hz monitor but with HDMI port, the problem will dissapear?

haven't run into any issues or noticable input lag even with a couple of cheapo adapters like this

I have an identical adapter but it's DP/VGA. Haven't noticed any screen tearing, lag or response time difference. I play bf4 a lot and I still play just as well as I did before using the adapter. If there's a difference it's probably negligible.
