Someone recommend me a good chair under $100. Or are they all shit at that price?

They're ALL shit at that price.

I got a $300 chair on sale for around $160 and it's barely acceptable after 3 years of daily use.

If you're serious about chairs and you're going to be using that chair for more than 12 hours at a time, look into police dispatcher chairs, or air traffic controller chairs. They're specifically designed for long periods of sitting.

They're expensive, but well worth it if you actually plan on using your chair for long 10+ hour stretches at a time.

I have a standing desk and a massive beanbag.
Super comfy. It goes low enough to lie down if I want to.

Biggest hassle is moving it when I want to use my Oculus rift.

It's not comfortable is the problem, and the build quality is garbage.

If you're paying under $300 for a chair it's mostly likely shit and not going to last more than a few years at most.
>>
>>64124858
Just means they're using super high end materials. Sure it's RATED for 550lbs, but if you weigh less than that it's not as if it makes the chair less comfortable.
>>
>>64124861
Why would it come with a lifetime warranty if it has shitty build quality?
>>
>>64124709

>>
>>64124923
Because it's made by a no name company that doesn't actually honor their warranty. They'll change to another chink name in 6 months and keep selling under a new manufacturer name.

They're all coming from the same shitty chink sweatshop though, they just change name so they don't have to deal with upset customers.

>he doesn't use 4chan

Since about 2009 4chan has stripped the EXIF data from pictures, if your camera (or phone) saves the rotation information in the EXIF instead of saving the actual picture in that orientation, then when you post it to 4chan, the rotation information is lost when it strips the EXIF.

To avoid this just open it up in a photo editor (even MS paint works for this), then save as. When it's saved it will hard save whatever rotation you currently have in the photo editor.

Zippo lighters do have a lifetime warranty too, and they are super reliable.

>>
>>64124858
The way I look at it, it allows for more shock to its structure. You exert more than your weight's worth of force in the process of sitting down. Since I sometimes prefer the chad flop to the virgin slow squat, it's nice to know the chair can take it (and do so thousands of times).
>>
I fell for the gayming chair meme. Those fucking ridges on the side of the chair are made to suffocate crotches. Also there's basically no padding, so long gaming sessions became awful. Got one now like pic in OP and it's fucking glorious.

This is one of the better chairs you can get for daily PC usage. I would advise against those bulky leather chairs. I personally Have the WAU chair and it was one of the best things I ever spent money on, as it stopped my fucking back pain (at 29 I could not sit in front of a PC in my gayming chair)

Get a chair that:
1. Has adjustable neck/head support. Incorrectly adjusted will only cause neck pain.
2. Has lumbar support (or you have a good lumbar pillow)
3. Has breathable material so that your virgin ass won't be sweating while you sit on /g/ and masturbate to applebooks

Additional points, which in my opinion make WAU a great chair is:
4. Adjustable lumbar support - you contro height and thickness.
5. Spacial mechanism that allows lumbar support to stay in one place relative to your back, even when you lean back. I cannot stress how awesome this setting is. As it allows for comfortable...
6. Tilting - you should not sit too long in one position in front of a PC, and when watching youtube, movies or reading, you can comfortably lean back a bit (or a lot). However, this is where cheaper chars have a drawback - lumbar pillows slide or change their position relatively to your back, so you have to constantly readjust.

Do you live in a hot country my guy?

chairs are bad for your posture, you should sit on the floor
i sit on my bed most of the time at home, just extension wires and the keyboard tray plopped down at the edge of the bed

>>64124694
mesh chairs are only like $150
>>
Hipsters hate gaming chairs, but they don't know how comfy and durable they are for the price. Beats most of the 1000 dollar ergonomic office chairs easily.

Visit local furniture stores and try out several chairs and buy your favourite one. It's as simple as that. Don't be jewed out on spending more than $150 for several pieces of metal and some pleather.

Mmkay. Ive been rocking the same exec chair for nearly 10 years. Arm broke on it last month which I fixed by welding up a bracket to hold the back rest and arm rest back together. And I had to replace the casters which is fuck all. Literally the most comfortable computer chair Ive ever had or sat in and still is after nearly a decade of holding my fat ass.
