Reminder that the entire current Intel meme is just a fluke.
Normalfags will update to the newest Windows 10 (don't you want secure pc, goyim? we totally won't steal even more data this time ;), get a slower CPU, and have to upgrade their crap laptops.
It's basically a free pass for them to not only get normalfags to update their OSes, but also get a new PC!
An amazing payoff for a small stock price bump.

The CPU slowdown is actually low-key more botnet

Are you feeling alright, OP? Intel doesn't only sell to normalfag private customers, you know.
With data centers, cloud providers, super computers, etc. being affected much more strongly than your local normalfag gamer with his 4c/4t CPU and 1-2TB HDD, we may well see humanity lose 10-15% or more of its total computing power here - for the moment, anyway.
Also, while Intel may well gain some revenue from this, not everyone can upgrade right now, particularly with current RAM prices being what they are, and a nice chunk of those who're forced to upgrade over this will go AMD.
