Spotify: "you don't own your music"
Netflix: "you don't own your videos"
Windows and MAC: "you don't own your OS"
Chrome: "you don't own your web browser"

Not always streaming, but also in the way you can't customize and make it your own.

Lame???? Do you actually own anything?
anyone here that understand my feelings right now?

>Spotify: "you don't own your music"
I'm not paying so that's expected.
>Netflix: "you don't own your videos"
Torrent.
>Windows and MAC: "you don't own your OS"

>don't pretend to own music or videos
If I want to own something I'll buy, pirate or in other ways acquire it.

Linux is a kernel. Chromium is a botnet.
>>
>>64292823
x86 is a botnet.
>>
jesus christ why donbt people get this?

you never did own music you had a license to listen to it

you never did own videos you also had a license

the artists retain ownership over these things the only thing you owned was the media it was on but now we are coming to an era where there is no need to ship things on a piece of media
>>
>>64292830
it's a copy with a valid license. whether you call a copy not worthy of the original or not is up to everyone. but the license is actually just something the industry has made up to make money. When you don't have the copy local, the services that have the things on their server and make all the money can fuck up all your things if they feel they have the reasons.

You do realize it's very easy to just permanently store temporary data coming to your PC from Spotify, Netflix, YouTube and other streaming sites? Nobody will know if you do it. Anyway, you can torrent media for personal use.
>you don't own your OS
Use Linux or Android-x86. Same as above. You can use a pirated windows and use it for personal use fully offline and nobody will know, or online if you don't care.
>you don't own your web browser
Use literally any non-botnet browser like IceCat, Waterfox or Palemoon.

You cannot own proprietary software or media. But you can own a license to use them for or without profit.

city council: you don't own your own buildings

i heard that this is what young people want. they dont want to own anything just rent. apparently its more important to them to go to other countries and take selfies than to own things.
>>
>>64292916

Physical media is still a thing you moron
If you were a music enthusiast you can still buy CDs or vinyls, Bluray for movies, etc. DRM is still a problem though

There's a lot of stuff nowadays that isn't available on physical media at all.

Also what you wrote does not apply to software...

Get a load of this faggot. You can go on about licenses all you want but in the real world you pay for something permanent like that you own it.

If I own my own body what am I not allowed to ingest any substances of my choosing?
>>
>>64292764
your possesions end up owning you instead.
google, apple, microsoft, netflix and spotify love you and want you to be happy, which is why they prevent you from owning their products.
every time i use their product i am amazed at the beauty and simplicity that you counldt achieve on your own.
