It's the same phone as all the others, the only thing I see on it is "glass on the back" meaning it shatters on every angle and a notch validating the iPhone X.

No. I have the 5t too, and I know oneplus' game. They'll release the 6t, or something similar, in about 5 months from now, and that will be the more valuable investment.

The 5 and 5r run just as fast as the 6, the software gets the same updates, the screen is the same resolution, and they're taking a bite out of the screen anyway for the front camera. Still no wireless charging, but there's a glass back, so the repairability is decreased, and the fragility is increased. The phone thrives on its shiny back, which you'll cover with a gaudy case anyway. The fingerprint sensor is worse due to its shape, and the processor is only a minor upgrade in performance.

Huawei did this phone way better with the honor 10.

Android is Android, all the different phones running it are the same thing. Google can never introduce brilliant new things because that means supporting 28 different devices of roughly the same class, maybe support. Buying an Android phone is basically being a Winpleb. Picking out an Android phone is a hilarious affair, its not like picking iPhones for actual features which are full-fat proper things that work and can be radically different from each other.

Samsung offers by far the best normie out of the box android experience, and it's why they dominate the market, and will continue to do so. If you're autistic enough that you need an ASOP phone to fulfill your need to be different from everyone else, by all means, enjoy it.

The only real reason to have a second lens on a phone is for having a different angle on it, e.g. a fisheye lens. You absolutely have to have another lens for that. But not for zooming.
This dual camera meme shit has to die once and for all. 1 optical zoom lens or 1 wide angle lens with 1 regular angle lens is where it's at.

Wouldn't he try and take it back to be fixed? Noice pickup tho m8
>>
>>65961754
>Notch
>Chin bezel

If you fuckers must copy Apple, do it right.
>>
>>65961754
A FUCKING NOTCH

into the trash it goes
>>
>>65976149
No idea, i assume he just got a new Samsung or something as soon as the camera stoppes working
>>
>>65966115
Actually it has a double sd card slot
>>
>>65976136
Is the 5T not much better? I could sell and then get 5T for £100 + selling price of 5
>>
>>65966428
>huge
It's still as big as an old 5.5 inch phone.
the size is referring to the screen, not the whole body
>>
>>65976195
Not a great difference. Just smaller bezels. I prefer the fingerprint sensor on the front so if I were you I wouldn’t really consider 5T.
>>
>>65961754
I...
I should have waited instead of picking up my OnePlus 5t. It work fine and it's honestly the best phone I've ever bought but... damn it. I want that edge to edge screen.
>>
>>65976467
The T phones aren’t really worth it. They’re nothing but a cash grab mechanism by Oneplus.
>>
>>65962222
I have an S8 and the fingerprint sensor is easy to get used to. Yeah they fucked up putting it there but it's not horrible.
>>
>>65961754
>Up to 8 GB of RAM
What do you even do with that on a fuckin' phone?
>>
>>65976195
5T is arguably worse.
>>
>>65976609
Because Android is bloatware garbage. Soon, and I shit you not, you WILL need 16GB of RAM on an Android phone. My guess is that it'll be no more than 3 years from now.
>>
>>65961837
One plus has pretty bad software support in general
>>
>>65976653
>need
Wow! I can play music from Spotify, send some texts and make calls with an old S4 with 2 GB of RAM! I totally need 16GB! Wow!
>>
>>65976653
Wrong. Due to the way minfrees are set up on oneplus devices you are LITERALLY INCAPABLE of hitting even 6GB. Android doesn't generally need more than 2.
>>65976609
People like bigger numbers I guess.
>>
>>65961754
>Notch
I would rather have no front camera than have a notch.
>>
>>65962450
What features that actually matter to you are you missing anyway?
>>
>>65962740
5T was literally perfect
how did they fuck it up?
>>
>>65967420
That's not a notch though that's just the camera cutting into the screen.
>>
I agree with the rest of the critics but..
What's wrong with 1080p? Most of us don't have more that this even in our desktops, why you want fucking 4K on a phone??
>>
wowee zowee another !!!NEW PHONE!!! can't wait until these become irrelevant landfill fodder like all the rest
>>
>>65977938
Because I sit more than three feet away from my monitor whereas my phone is just 6 inches away from my face. Pixels matter more at close quarters
>>
>>65978828
>6 inches away
jesus christ
>>
>>65978828
it´s fucking overkill, I keep my S9 on 1080p and save battery life.
>>
Undecided to get a new phone or not. Still on OnePlus since launch and it does everything I need. It has a slowed a bit with some freezing.
S9 is tempting though. 1+6 looks underwhelming for all the hype they tried to generate.
>>
>>65976558
This, it's a meme really
>>
>6 inches and above
stop this shit already, soon there won't be a phone below 5.5 in
>>
>>65980319
to be fair, the S8/S9 at 5.8" felt good in my hands, the bezels are so small that it's basically as wide as a lumia 635 (4.5" screen) but slightly taller
the S9+ is a tad bit too big though, as wide as a Moto G5S but taller
