So...which one should i use?
Firefox + vimium + ublock + dark theme. Maximum comfy.
>>68412416Google Chrome is the only choice
Safari if you're on a Mac. Chromium if you're on Windows. Firefox if you're on Windows and can't stand Chrome or Chromium. Doesn't matter what you use on a Linux distro.
>>68412514Why can't people stand chrome or chromium?
>>68412532Because it's significantly inferior to a riced out Firefox

Does anyone know how to use addons from Opera on otter-browser?
None of the above
Pale Moon is pretty much the only reasonable option left for now.
>>68415283Tried this but wasn't able to installhttps://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/videospeed/so into the trash it went.
>>68416564I was able to install it.>Go to version history.>select latest version.>install>Go to addons>Force update.Mozilla doesn't like forks to use it's addon page. Even though the main page will tell you to fuck off, just go to the version history and download from there. Force update it if you need to.

>>68417422Sorry, not trying to be a cunt, why not Firefox?
Firefox is based on any OS, Chromium is also a good alternative on Linux.
I have always been on Firefox. I really can't stand anything chrome-based, the interface is just plain bad, besides the obvious botnet issue. Since I didn't like Firefox's changes on the last years, along with the political shenanigans (backslash from CEO supporting right wing, then the owners supporting left wing and even antifa) - i changed to waterfox, customized the way I wanted (especially with classic theme) and I'm good to go, top comfy. The only things I use chrome for are some websites that use extensions, like rabb.it and bbc streaming. For anything else, I use waterfox.
>>68417394Keeps telling me that the file is corrupt when I do what you say. Same thing when I try to install from local .xpi file. Tried even turning off the addon warning thing in options, nothing.
>>68417394>>68418320Even tried creating my own .xpi file after downloading the source files from GitHub, same shit. Basilisk is fucked, I'm on 64-bit, default settings.
vivaldi combine chrome + firefox.

Anything that's not failfox.
Since I need to move from Firefox 56.0.2 because it's a pile of shit, what browser lets me create a private TAB?
lynx on xterm
>>68412416> Internet Explorer 6 ofc
Is the whole Firefox destroys/damages SSDs shit true? If so how bad is it and can I effectively prevent it? Switche from chrome to firefox a couple of years ago, should I give chromium a shot? Any downsides compared to chrome?
Firefox looked like it got fixed for a while but it's starting to get slow again. Just stick to Brave, but have Firefox installed in case you need to use one of the functionalities that Brave lacks like reading mode, save page as or screenshot whole page.
>>68412451Good goy, keep using that botnet.

Is there a script that works on most sites where it basically changes the background of a page to black and the text to white? So a dark theme for pages that don't usually have a dark theme.>>68412443
