Why does that look so much like a city? I thought the formation to the right was a skyscraper, and judging from the thumbnail it was suppose to be a model or a replica embedded in quartz or something. I still keep seeing it as a city. I can't be the only one?

Pretty sure it was done by a company near cincinnati that has a few guys that each spend a week or two on a single specimen in a specialized lab there with micro media blowers, picks, dental style equipment, ect... they get their specimens locally there and from morocco which have amazing ordovician and silurian specimens. They do mainly complex crinoids and trilobites

Although it is elongate and fibrous, I would disagree about the asbestos. I collected the sample in a Cu, Zn skarn system. Any other opinions? I believe it to be malachite.
