I have a male and female figma archetype, but I never really have used them because they are so small. But I recently ordered a 1/6th scale Phicen M34 body and I'm super excited to start studying it. I might pick up a female body as well if I like the M34.

Manikins are not for figure drawing you stupid motherfucker FUCK you for spreading this shit, they are for studying lighting on simplified solid forms ie shine a light on it from different angles

manikins are not moving in the same way as the real human is moving, so they are not really that helpful. they could help you get the basics of a pose down, but if you rely on a manikin too much, you will end up with a stiff unnatural pose.
