Do you warm up before drawing? If so, what kind of exercises do you make?.
I am going to star taking art serious and pratice more often, but i don't wanna hurt my hands or back in the process.

i stretch my hands , take 5 deep breaths and read a random paragraph from The art spirit by robert henri to get me in the mindset of drawing.

I dont warm up so much aside from morning stretches. Taking a break every hour or two to stretch forearms + making sure you have good posture and ergonomics seems to keep me operational over longer sessions.

I go to the gym and powerlift then come back and draw.

The post-workout adrenaline rush puts my creativity into overdrive, not even memeing.

build the arms muscles is an invest for the long round, is worth all the way if you wanna do this for life. Also the back muscles, a good back will help you in the posture and your old you will thank you.

I do random scrabbles, sometimes I look at good sketches from other people (I noticed that doing that "reminds" me of what's possible) and sometimes I draw quick sketches from reference

Your full of excuses op. No wonder you can't draw.
>>
>>4014129
I'll do a few sketches of similar things to what I want to draw.
