Really my only complaint about them other than size is the blanket/mat retainer straps would be nice if they a litle bit longer and that the shoulder padding doesn't really improve the comfort thatr much. It's the same material and only about a quarter inch thicker than the actual strap itself.

Plus I kinda feel like the opportunity for more external and internal pockets was squandered, but whatever

To be honest, I see myself collecting a bunch of different camo including MARPAT and US4CES when it becomes available. I did see MARPAT USMC tops and bottoms (kek) available. I will start with woodland even though I think it can look very light at times. Thanks for the info. I will go solid color gear, now to choose that color...

Yes, very unfortunate because from what I've seen it's pretty good.
>>

Aw.. But isn't there some sort of reason as to why the colors aren't exactly like MARPAT? It was just some random youtuber but I remember he said there was some legal reasoning for it.

Hey everyone. I have a question that's been bugging me for a while. What makes modern camo patterns better than natural camo like animal print?
>>
>>35424985
Science and research would be my guess.
>>
>>35424985
And testing as opposed to just trial and error through years and years of evolution.
>>
>>35424996
>>35425013
I suppose that makes sense. In a pinch though, would a native animal's coat work as camo?
>>
>>35425082
You mean like if you were innawoods being chased and all you had was an animal pelt? I guess it's better than nothing.
>>
>>35424896
Might be a color patent or something like that or the DOD. Fuck if I know.
>>
>>35424985

Animal print might work great on the intended prey or predator of that particular animal but humans have different vision. Also, we want out patterns to be as versatile as possible.

Serbian M89 oak leaf, they're nice jackets and fairly common these days. The majority of it is 90's/very early 2000's era. Look up some pictures of the Balkan conflicts from that time and you'll see what kind of stuff goes along with it.

Yugo M89 Field Jacket. All you need now is a beret and an accordion.
For real though, the Yugoslavian army was very rag tag, especially with all the breakoff factions. Anything from just a belt with some ammo pouches to a full on ammo vest would work.

Camo is M89 Oakleaf, jacket is an M93 model from the Kosovo era.
One of the more desired ones as they fit better, have more pockets, and can have a nice thick fur liner, collar, and a hood, all button detachable.
As for gear, basically throw on anything from that era.
