I know k hates .45, but you have to admit fitting 10+1 230gr grandpa teeth in a glock 19(the 30s is still shorter) size package is impressive.

It's also one of the few guns where a double recoil spring makes a felt difference and isn't a meme. The slide is as thin as the 9mm glocks.

I've since thrown all caution to the wind and my daily carry is a glock 17, but I'll always love this gun and how awesome my tiny brain thought it was when I bought it.

I think rick and morty is on every night now. Maybe that is more your type of content.

>designed at the request of the LAPD's special surveillance squad for a concealable primary handgun
>they conceal their .45s more than SWAT does so the 1911 isn't going to cut it
>We want a G30 with a G36 slide on it
>that particular unit has been involved in more shootouts and firefights than LAPD SWAT

Pretty good concept overall, kind of wish they had it in 9mm.

Thinner slide, G19 frame with grip molded to G26 length.

G19S when???

Tbh senpai it's one of if not my favorite glocks. Probably the most size efficient .45 on the market in it's size/capacity range. Heard that it's a little bit rough on the recoil side of things though so IDK if when i'll get around to giving one a try.
>>
I prefer .357 sig myself. 13+1
>>
/k/ hates everything and 90% of its users have never fired a gun, I wouldn't trust it's collective opinion.

I'm not a huge fan of Glock just because I prefer hammer instead of striker fired handguns, but a Glock is a perfectly good handgun, and the .45acp is an American classic.

Honestly, at the end of the day the shooter is what determines how effective a gun is.

I kinda want a glock 36 for appendix carry. That or an xds with the 3.3 but those are getting harder to find.
>>
>>36079301
I know glock milked this history the fuck out to sell glock 30s but it's still awesome. I thing the glock 19 could be an inch thick flat it they tried.
>>
>>36079401
I have a g27 and need to get off my ass and try a .357 conversion barrel.

It recoils a lot more than the 9mm or .40 glocks, but it doesn't hurt or cause flinching. A few strips of grip tape make it feel great.
>>
>>36079061
Only glock ive owned. Wish i never sold it.
>>
>>36079061
I like the grip size of the 20sf and the 29/30 is okay but the extra thick slide has always bothered me. If they made a 10mm version of your gun, I'm down for it.

I prefer the 9 round magazine. The 1 round difference doesn't bother me, and it's much easier to conceal.
>>
So is the g30s slide as thin as a glock 9mm slide?
>>
>>36080133
They do, G29. Same frame and same slide sans bigger barrel hole. I had one for awhile, best Glock trigger I felt but very uncomfortable for my skeleton frame to conceal the thickness of it.

If you don't know that those were almost all in .40 and caused by early unsupported barrels then you really shouldn't be calling anybody kid, kid. A traditionally rifled and fully supported aftermarket barrel is a great step to take to reduce the already minuscule chance of that happening.

Fucking newfags.

Any reliability issues? Is it too thick? Or do you find it comparable or marginally bigger than a 9mm glock?
>>
>>36084247
Yeah, they're fine. You just have to check them everyone now and then when shooting a lot of lead
>>
>>36079439
Fuck up faggot unlike u I owned 30s 19 22 34

Glock is ok handgun really u cannot go wrong with it as first gun or 3rd.

But .45 is bullshit for anything but range fun. When it was first designed it was designed for drug addicted skinny as shit phillipines twinks.

.45 isn't gonna cut it for you average overweight American criminal. Unless it's fmj. .45 depends on mass to penetrate deep since it lacks speed. A problem 9mm or .40 doesn't have.

But yeh k hates everything and majority of da voice is no guns posters you can tell easily as you read posts.

Glock 30 shoots really nice. Not much muzzle flip, a lot more of a shove.

It doesn’t depend on mass; it IS mass. It’s a giant fuckin bullet. It’s a .45

What would be a better choice for EDC?
A 19, 30s, or 26?

>>36096304
Whichever one you shoot best. Lots of folks shoot the baby glocks better than the full-size or compacts.
