What does /k/ think of the Benelli M1014 JSCS (Joint Service Combat Shotgun)?
>>
Pretty good.
>>
>>38233976
*unzips dick*
>>
>>38233976

Robust as fuck, piston driven shotgun. Pretty gucci main, looking to pick up a 14.5 entry model myself after playing around with the 1014.
>>
>>38233976
Want. Too bad we can only get M4's
>>
>>38234027

But you literally just buy a M4 and slap the aftermarket on it to make it a M1014 copy, so nothing's really stopping you man.
>>
>>38233976
It’s just a shotgun. I’m not sure what they’re going to use it for.
>>
>>38234042
>>
>>38233976
Can’t put a bayonet on it. Lame. I wanna stick people before I shoot them.
>>
Really neat mechanically, it has so few internal parts it's fucking stupid. Super simple gas system.

t. Marine armorer
>>
>>38233976
You could have posted the firearm without posting a fat negro holding it. I was just enjoying my meal and the sight has ruined it for me.
>>
>>38234277
You really enjoy getting pissed off at things that don't matter aren't you?
>>
>>38234322
A race of people which has not even come up with metalgury holding a firearm in it's paws

I bought one yesterday. It came fully disassembled. I had to put it together before I left the shop, obviously.

Gummed up with military buck when we first got them.

Maybe because we were in that washington tank training area with the environmental regulations?

they came with really shitty slings too. Made me want a navy mossberg 500 with wood instead.

Dont even need to buy an m1014 just buy the m4 11721 model its the same thing.
>>
>>38234994

That's what I did here - >>38234721
It came in the exact configuration I wanted with no 922r bullshit to worry about. I don't know what changed, but they sell them with collapsing stocks and full mag tubes now. Got mine for $1,900 on Gunbroker.
>>
>>38234002
fpbp
We had a few in my armory, and desu its probably one of the best tactical shottys you can find.
>self cleaning gas system
>light
>compact af
>super easy to use
>reliable af
Generally they are all around better than any Mossberg 930, and I am a Mossberg fan.
>>
>>38235013
Its not that anything changed. Police departments order them from dealers and then don't want them sometimes after the fact so dealer just ends up selling it.
>>
>>38234277
>le edgy internet racist mane

Good meme
>>
>>38235027

If you had looked for them five years ago they were nowhere to be found. They didn't want to sell them in that configuration to civilians. I heard Beretta had been the same way for a while. And don't even get me started in HK's faggotry.
>>
I've actually never shot a shotgun before
>>
any usefulness shooting it with the stock closed?
>>
>>38235117

If you're wearing body armor it makes life a lot easier. It also does a good job of raising your line of sight so if you have a red dot or something it helps with your natural point of aim.
>>
>>38234100

>>38234235
If you dont mind asking. Is that a MOS you selected. Or something you work up to?

He's talking about an aftermarket 7 round magazine tube. Benelli can't import shotguns with a tube magazine bigger than 5 rounds because of import restrictions.
>>
>>38235163
Not him but Im also a Muhreen armorer.
2111 is the MOS.
2112 are the "gun gods" as we call them, they hand build the M40 sniper rifles and do maintenance on all precision weapons (sometimes with help from us because its good to cross train because Muhreen Core is poor)

t. Went in as combat eng and got swapped to armorer in boot
>>
>>38235163
I selected it when I enlisted. Learning how to work on all the weapons we have is pretty cool (from M9s to Mark 19s and SMAWs) but if you get assigned to a 2nd echelon armory like I am you don't do jack dick with guns besides checking headspace on rifles before the range. Anything else we just send to the 3rd echelon for annual gaging. We also had to go through every ACOG and scratch off bible verses and cover it with sharpie.

The Marine Corps is fucking autistic. You will be let down.

>>
>>38235483

You want to be issued a combat semi auto from Remington these days?

Boi.
>>
>>38233976

What's the difference between the M1014 and regular civilian m4 aside from the magazine tube and stock?

I heard the M1014 has a thicker chrome lined barrel or something? Mostly from old fudds though so I don't know if this is actually true
>>
>>38235546

It's just a designation.
>>
>>38235726

I've always seen old dudes brag about how they spent like $4k on a real M1014 which has a "MUHREEN STRONK" thick barrel among other "improvements" and I'm just wondering if they're all full of shit?
>>
>>38236130
They might not be full of shit but they're certainly retarded for buying a shotgun for $4k, when the civilian model is half that price new.

>>
>>38235065
I believe there is a domestic company that started making the collapsing stock. avoids the 922r bullshit and avoids the italian gun companies being "oh this isn't acceptably sporting for you civilians to own". The same companies were pushing hard to get a law passed in italy that banned anything that didn't look like a traditional gun and had any feature they could claim not for traditional sport gun use. Italians got screwed hard by their own gun companies, I doubt the same people have set up their own domestic production of a folding stock for one shotgun when they hate civilians owning things like that.
still, it's nice to have that available now, makes the shotgun look a lot better in my mind. stands out from the crowd.

Okay real talk guys,

Has any private individual in the history of EVER actually been prosecuted for 922r bullshit?

I thought 922r was something that is solely targeted against manufacturers and importers and has no bearing whatsoever on what an individual does to their gun once they own it.
>>
>>38236392
No
>>
>>38236392

Nobody gives a shit about 922r except for bootlicking fudds or cucks

Judging from the amount of 922r dicksucking in this thread /k/ is full of both

I shoot with my right foot forward so I need a shorter stock. Inb4 manlet (6'3"). The stock slides on the recoil tube which is slanted so the sight picture changes. I have a rail so I don't use the original sights.

The civilian M4 barrel is threaded for a choke.
>>
>>38236392
922r explicitly only applies to importers

I have no idea where the fuddlore started about it applying to you putting a different stock on your own shotgun
>>
>>38237882

Is that the only difference?

Are both chromed? Or only the military one
>>
personally ive shot my buddys m4 and its worth every penny, im gonna sell all my shotguns in a few years so i can scoop one up.

HK would sell the US market G11s, HK21s, G36s and Austrian jailbait if the could. They just have a shitload of legal shit to navigate
>>
>>38235212
As a guy who hates side saddles, this image is like a ballsack full of ants
>>
>>38236130
That's the 590, not that it matters since every combat shotgun in US history has been nothing more than an off the shelf sporting gun with parkerizing and occasionally a heatshield or bayonet lug on it

Got it in a store that supplies local police. The local PD didn't want them after ordering them so they just put them on the wall for 2k.
>>
>>38239769
Woaw. That's a pretty lucky find anon.
>>
>>38239560

I just bought mine on Gunbroker. My local big store has them for order of you just ask them to order one for you.
>>
>>38234721
Are the sights five degrees off center?
>>
>>38239819
Thanks. Imma pay a visit to my LGS to see about that.
>>
>>38240045

Make sure they're a big store. My smaller store tried to become a Benelli dealer and they were turned down. Not only would they have to order $10k worth of fats from Benelli, Benelli determined they would be able to sell them quickly enough and wouldn't deal with them.

So basically only big stores or chains will sell them, and if they're smaller you bet your ass the owner will have put a higass sign out front staring they sell Benelli.
>>
>>38233976
I like my 11715
>>
>>38240790

Man, I fucked that post up. Meant to say Benelli won't let you be a dealer if they think you can't move enough product. They make you buy a lot at a time straight from them, at least $10k min in this case.
>>
>>38235020
>self cleaning gas system
That claim has never been true before, what makes you think it's true this time?
>>
>>38241039
>>38234994
>>38234721
How much is the LEO version?
>>
>>38235013
Same here. Got a collapsible stock, night sights, and 7-shell magazine tube. Only modification left to do is a side saddle

>>38242167
I got mine (>>38241039) on gunbroker for around $1,850. The LEO versions do pop up every once in a while but don’t fall for the people trying to sell them for $2,000+. Look up “Benelli 11715” (LEO version with night sights) or “Benelli 11721” (LEO version without night sights) every few days till you find one for a good price
