I want to see your most expensive guns /k/. we will make it your most expensive long gun and your most expensive handgun. timestamps encouraged but not required. A shit rifle with 40 things hanging off of it to inflate the value doesn't count. $2000 minimum cost

I have a desert eagle, but I only paid $800 for it. have a shtf 50bmg upper coming, but didn't pay $2000 for that either.

M1A I paid $1,300 for.
S&W 28-2 I got for $400, which isn't much but I paid the same for the next runner up but that's just a Glock 23 so the S&W is clearly worth more.

If I had to sell the two I could probably get 2k combined.

I have bought more expensive guns before, but I don't typically go for the high dollar options.

You are allowed to buy them but you are not allowed to use them. If you are a sports shooter you can only use 10 round mags, if you are a hunter you can only use 2 round mags while hunting and unlimited while on the range (contentious legal issue so the few hunters that own them [Germany is fudd-central] only use 10 round ones aswell).

Other than that no cucking of ARs though.

If you spent 2k on that AR and 2k on that Mk23, you're retarded my dude.

But if I'm not mistaken, I'm getting the idea you're from Germany? You're not going to get many Americans posting on this thread, because we don't pay those inflated prices for guns. Not even in cuckifornia

Counting my collection only, not my pops, the most expensive gun I own and paid for myself is a Winchester 1873 exactly like pic related, MSRP 1700 but of course, I got it for way less.

My 2011 being assembled by fusion firearms.

Going to be around 3500 because of the one off parts and fitting labor, which I originally was going to do. But bring a fucking reservist am "deployed" for a year overseas so I'm using the chance to just have someone finish it while the rest of my money goes to a house.

>>TFW you get E5 pay and BAH but don't have rent to pay because you cancelled your lease, and are going back to an overpaid gov civilian job that is allowing you to get the first 2 months technician pay while deployed and your last month of deployed paid also.

Combined ill make 100K in. Year tax free while having only $350/mo in bills (car and insurance combined).

Right now it is probably my suppressed SBR MPX:

Sig MPX 9mm
Silencerco Hybrid
Modified Barrel
PDW Stock (non-sig)
Trijicon ACOG

Probably a $3500 setup right now as-is excluding tax stamps.

Also have a Romanian PSL, numbers matching. $350 back 10 years ago. Turns out it is one of the rare ones that got snuck through with the extra sear pin hole, but it is plugged. One of 200 in the US. Honestly it's kinda a shitty rifle. No idea why the value on these things is approaching Tigr Drag prices.

My uncle has a $150k firearm collection. All Class 3, 4 firearms.

Prior to that, I had an AR30A1T .300 Winmag with a Nightforce 8-32/56 on it. That was $4500. Sold it last year.
>>
>>38556082

i opted out of the 1.5 optic with the AUG.. i bought a fs2000 with integrated optic (same reticle too i believe) and it wasnt very good for plinking.

fortunately i was able to make up a reason to FN to warranty return and swap for a FS2000 with a top rail instead, using a 3x ACOG now. i have a aimpoint m4 on the aug.
>>
>>38541926

most expensive by itself is probably the SMG FG42. if scopes count then the SCAR 17, or the noveske AR-15, or the custom r700 is up there.

also have a Korth PRS and a new manufacture MR73 that cost a pretty penny.

You do know that the integrated optic FS2000's are literally just the standard railed FS2000's with a fancy scope cover attached...right?
You didn't need to swap out the gun if you wanted a top rail, you already had one underneath the scope cover.
>>
>>38559284

yes, but when i bitched about having to buy an optic to FN and they gave me a C-More red dot for free, which i sold immediately.

I got mine from cabelas for 400ish bucks iirc. Finn captured, missing a rear sling loop, and the clip guide has an ear ground off. They priced it low because the bore was rough, but nothing out of the ordinary for a well used Finn capture. They really just didn't know what they had.

In general SL8's aren't all that expensive, especially since it hasn't been converted yet.
Semi MG42's and M53's tend to go in the $4k-$5k range.
Although I guess it would be cheaper if you built it yourself, which is probably the case.
Do you plan on doing a G36 conversion with it or leaving it be?
>>

I had it built. Around $2500 total for the MG3. About $2000 for the SL8. Dual optic was about $800. Definitely going to do the G36 conversion.

Sl8 is around 2k nowadays stock. The fact of the matter is they don't make any more, there was already a limited production, and even less were imported to the US. Everyone loves to hate them but those who like them are willing to pay. The gun is a great investment if you are patient. In two years we will be taking about how they are 2500 now

>>38573460
Yeah, I have one, dual optic and all. More so just surprised at how little the MG3 cost.

It's been a couple months since I was looking so grain of salt, but one was up on hkparts and one or two on the hkpro forums for about six hundo at the time.
>>
>>38573543
I was looking recently for mine and couldn't find any except hkparts for 1500 lol. Are they actually good or is it just aesthetic
>>
>>38573571
They are straight up absolute garbage.
But man are they snazzy.

Finish bugs me, its too clean to be worn, its as if someone had stripped it for a reblue than changed their mind.

Someone is making repro charger clip guides, and handguard can be adapted from an SRC.

Looks like it might also be missing the front barrel band screw, and something don't look right with the front sight.
>>
>>38573582
In that case im just gonna get a low profile rail and ditch these risers and call it a day. Do you have the double stack conversion? I was having feeding issues with pmags today.
>>
>>38573719
Not just yet, it's on the list. Haven't found the time nor extra 2-300 buckaroos for it.

...also I kinda forgot I still had to do it for a good while, whoops
>>

Good luck. Post her if you end up doing it.

At work so no pics.

>Long gun
idk, probably one of the funs I inherited from my grandfather. Probably the Remington Model 8. Value seems to have a pretty wide margin though. Seen them go for ~$500 - ~$1,500. Would love to convert it into one of the police style models with the wooden fore grip and detachable 20 round magazine.

>Hand gun
Got my koch heckled with a Mark 23.

I've considered getting an SL8, but now that Tommy Bostic is doing proper G36 clone receivers,
I don't really see the point in dealing with the SL8's bullshit when you can get a proper G36 for virtually the same price as an SL8.

How can I as an American get a deactivated an-94?????

What is that pistol? Also, where are you?
>>
>>38573570
Ah, I guess I could have looked a bit more. $800+ is what I saw most of them go for in various places. Oh well, considering how much of a money sink this will be, $200 won't be that big difference.

>>38573571
I've heard they're pretty bad but I want the classic G36 aesthetics and I'm sure I'll be able to use it well enough.
>>
>>38573909
Yeah, he's doing some good work but I'd rather not be a beta tester for anything, even with his good track record. At some point down the road I'll probably want a G36K so that'll give me a better source for one. I wanted a standard G36 for this one anyway and he's doing mainly Ks and Cs.
>>
pls no chop chop sl8
there are virgin receivers now, use those
sl8 is a thing of beauty as it is

Brake is the original one that came with the rifle, you can tell a russian one vs us made by the subtle difference where it flares out and is attached to the front sight and lack of chrome lining on US made, I want to get a russian one but that's low on my list. The stock is lighter than the polymer folder that was on it and is more aesthetic but lacks the hole for the cleaning kit. Most if not all are russian, I'm not sure if other countries made triangle folders, maybe Bulgaria.
