Still better than a FV4034 Challenger 2 or the Arjun.

right side of the turret. Look carefully next to the gun barrel.

how

>is this thing any good?
Not really. It's probably roughly equivalent to a Leopard 2A4, but that's not really good enough for modern tank combat. The major problem is that there's only 30 out of 200 of them working currently, due to low budget.

pathetic try again wehraboo furfag *yawn*
>>

That sounds like your opinion man. Ariete is well known to be more mobile and have a superior fcs to leo2a4 and it's applique is significantly more advanced than even a7 leopard
>>
>>38823292
>posts ancient ariete
They never improved it, so this is the current configuration outside of some applique armor.
>>38823308
Back any of that up with a source. If it was that great, the Italian army wouldn't want to buy Leopard 2s instead of upgrading their Arietes.

>significantly more mobile
It's slower than the Leo2
>better armor by faaaaaaaar.
The Leo was built with speed in mind. It also only was meant to engage from afar which is why only the front is heavily armoured. You can also use modular armour for the sides like the A7+ has.
>good gun
Based on the Rheinmetall 120mm
>retarded shell racks used in hull
Was changed in the A6 variant

You'll have to back that up with a source
>>
>>38814269
Well it's Italian, so, no.
