5.45x39 SKS.

ACR with a receiver, mag well and magazines sized for 6mm SAW.

A 55.6 Garand would be a nightmare. Imagine the size of the enblocs. Imagine the weight necessary to tame the recoil from a 55.6mm bullet... Probably terribly expensive.

Here's my entry, I want a mass produced vz58 in 6.5 grendel. It's becoming a favorite since getting into it.
It shares stripper clips and probably just requires a barrel change since 762 and 6.5 share such similar case dimensions for the bolt.

>>39401994
>308 sks
I could get behind that. Love my sks to death and would love to see it scaled up to 308. One of the more aesthetically pleasing guns IMO.

>5.56 garand
So you want a mini14 with a very outdated system? The ping wouldn't even begin to make up for it IMO, but I know a lot of people would fall all over themselves to hear that noise from watching Band of Brothers as a kid.

>AK 6.5 G
I have an ak in 6.5 grendel, checkmate. Also, they're beginning to become a thing, pic related. Sorry it's not a standard ak design though.
>>
>>39402139
M1917 in 6.5 Swede would probably have been the best bolt action service rifle ever before the end of WW1, maybe even up to WW2.
>>
>>39402174
On a similar note, a P90 chambered in .30x28 - basically just 5.7 with a bigger bullet stuffed in the case. Any 5.7 bolt action ''cub scout'' rifle would also be neato.
>>
>>39401994
>AK 6.5 G

Veprs were actually imported in 6.5 grendel

Anyone can build one with an AKM kit and the 6.5 barrels someone is selling on AKfiles

It used to be, but they didn't end up selling it. I'd have loved one, though, because the farthest I shoot coyotes is maybe 150 yds, and a .223 is a little too fast and has too much potential distance to my liking. My backstop is only trees.

Yeah unlike most of /k I don't talk out of my ass. I think all of rare unique snowflake cartridges are retarded. I strictly stick to 22lr, 9mm, 45acp, 223, 308, 12ga, and will never stray from it. (Although I would include 38spl and 357mag but I don't have a revolver yet) I'm all for having the right tool for the job, but also versatile multi-tools that get it done too, but going through all the hassle and paying extra for extremely marginal gains is so stupid. I find it brilliant when people do MORE with LESS, like long range 22lr builds, long range 223rem builds, etc.

Desert Eagle in 10mm Magnum.
In a Double Stack magazine because its actually an autoloader cartridge.
12-15 capacity
as much firepower as a .44 magnum

Also

Semi-Auto Antimateriel Rifle converted to accept a Belt Feed (.50bmg, .416 barrett). Id never afford it but id buy it. Particularly something like the GM-6 Lynx.
> 100 rounds at the ready... no reloading needed
Nah really I think its something the military ought to be using and they're dumbasses for not doing so. Man portable .50cal that uses the same belts as the machineguns and can still harass a large area and fuck up vehicles as opportunity attacks.
> 200 round belt of Raofoss, a couple lobbed downrange at a time, much more controllable than an M2 can dish them out

>>39403955
I think somebody has made a .50 AE lever action rifle.

And while the RDB might not be in beowulf there's a new 308 conversion for AR-10 called the .45 Raptor which gets 1:1 capacity in .308 magazines. Dont see why such a thing couldn't be done to an RDB.
