You know, I always find it fantastic how much Mega Man has been inspired by or referenced from many famous /m/ series. Original Mega Man being based on Astro Boy, with Roll being based on Uran, and Rush being based on Friender from Casshern. X and Zero are based even more on Casshern, with Sigma being Braiking Boss. Legends being based on Castle in the Sky and Future Boy Conan, with Tron and the Bonne Family being Capcom's few attempts at the Doronbo Gang from Yatterman.
