Me: I learned in a mid 2000s turbo cummins. I didn't know that you could stall because in that truck you could just let off the clutch and it would go lol

2019 Chevrolet Sonic. Went from 10 years driving an automatic to stalling the manual twice just moving it one parking space over. I do fine when I'm alone but I still get nervous when other people are in the car and fuck up. Even though it has less power than my old car it's smaller, turns tighter, and is significantly more fun to drive.

I learned stick in a '93 4Runner out in buttfuck, nowhere. Every pedal in that thing was stiff, but it made me appreciate softer clutches.

I've also tried to teach some friends stick in a '94 4Runner. Worked out pretty well, too. Find an empty lot, throw it in 4 low, and let em rip.

A post-facelift SN-95 Mustang GT.

It was my buddy who lived in the dorm next to me. He needed a ride to the airport and since I didn't have a car, we had to use his. Luckily the airport wasn't very far and we left at like 4am on during a weekday so the streets were relatively deserted. After the dropping him off, I flew solo and got the car back our parking lot in one piece, but it died as I was pulling into the parking space. Not sure what happened, though. Supposedly it was battery the abruptly crapped out, but I don't think it was that.

My 1st one was a 2006 Forester X. I was taught by my mom on her 1994 Trooper in parking lotd but I wasn't old enough to drive. Omce ild enough to drive I owned auto cars. In the past I drove a friend to the airport in his Del Sol manual which was fun. I also have driven my father's 1960 International Scout with a dogleg 3 speed once. I sucked at annual by manned up and bough my 1st manual Forester cuckbox when a manual one was the only one I could find in the condition I wanted at the price I wanted. I learned how to daily a manual trans and will forever daily drive manual cars. All autos do now is piss me off.
