/o/, I have to know. How fucked am I on maintenance costs? It's a V8, so there's at least that.

Get ready to spread those cheeks

What for, specifically?
>>
OP here. I know that interior shit will be a fortune, but what do you think I'll really need to watch out for?

I love this car, though. It's beautiful and incredibly smooth.

This car is basically an Audi A8 underneath. Be prepared to pay flagship Audi sedan maintenance costs.

That doesn't seem so bad unless there's some weird shit to worry about.
>>
not as bad as you think
also it's more like a bentley underneath than an A8
there's a main phaeton forum with a ton of diy knowledge, go hunting there

Thanks, anon. I've been in love with this car for years, glad I'm an owner now. As weird as it sounds I intend to daily it until it's not possible.
>>

that should be pretty feasible, and god damn is is way comfier than its price point suggests.

be mindful that basic maintenance stuff is expensive and if it's a 12 cyl, you need a lot of it.

As stated in the first post, it's the V8. I don't think I'll need to take it to an actual "phaeton certified" mechanic because of that, but I do worry about maintenance costs creeping up on me. Either way, it's worth it because of the driving experience.

>>19976613
you won't need to take it to a phaeton mechanic anyway. Again, find that forum

A random thing i remember about this car: you must not close the electric trunk by hand, you can but it will destroy the electronics
>>

Only if you have the crazy hinges. The one I have is just normal hinges.
>>
>>19976511
damn that's nice paint
>>
>>19976483
how comfy is it?

Nice car bro.

I would have chosen this if it wasn't for my dogs, went with a TDI Touareg instead.
