My nigga. I took kids there for trips during the summer for work. It's such a well-kept camping area and trail system. Stone steps cut from the rock and finding newts and shit was cool as fuck, and it was raining hard off and on the last time I went, so the various falls were pumping water the whole time.

Hey anon, im not the guy who posted that picture but I will solve your inquiry.

If you actually went /out/ like posting on this board would suggest you would realize that every so often water falls from the sky in a phenomenon commonly referred to as rain. When all this "rain" hits the ground, it follows the laws of gravity and always tries to flow downward towards the lowest point. Often ending up in a sewer, or in this case, a river.

When all that water is flowing down, it often picks up dirt and other debris, turning it into a brown color. When a river floods, there is a lot of this brown water, and it turns the river brownish instead of the bright neon yellow that you are probably used to seeing in your backwater city.

During certain seasons a lot of places will have a lot of rain and all the waterways will start to rise and turn brown. Some people take advantage of the uncommonly high water to go out and take a picture of water features, such as waterfalls, and awe at the beauty of nature.

I hope you are no longer confused, anon.

I wish I had a picture of a waterfall I found near a finger lake in New York. There was a large 30-40ft smooth rock covered in algae leading to a pool about 8 feet deep. Spent an entire week there around 2005 and slid down that rock for about 3 days straight and fished the rest of the time. The picture here is just googled, the one I experienced was much steeper and round.
