ITT: Times you were /out/ing and things went wrong

One time I went to summer camp near the MS/LA border and a red bug bit me on the dick and it swelled up huge in one per for like a week. It was swollen all around the circumference but only a little bit of the link so it looked like my tiny baby dick swallowed a mini doughnut.

Is this the kind of thing you mean?

can anything really be "wrong". aint it just part of the experience? unexpected things happen and overall it makes things better. I didn't plan on my next step sinking knee deep into the mud filling my boot with dirty water and making my foot extremely itchy later that night. but it damn sure kept my mind off of how my aunt is probably going to nag me tomorrow.

I don't like those people that lose their shit anytime something happens that they didn't plan for or expect to happen
it separates the weak from the strong. are you going to start bitching about stupid shit or are you going to get a firm grip on your balls fix your shit and get on with things?

Getting attacked by a rabid dog would classify as something going wrong, yes.

Always make eye contact, the entire thing about animals is dominance, if you can whoop it stare it down, if you can't then back up slowly and hope it doesn't follow you.

t. guy who constantly gets called by friends and family to deal with nuisance animals.

i was walking our dog and another dog attacked it. I yanked on the dogs tail, it turned around and clamped onto my forearm. I grabbed the dog by the throat picked it up and slammed it on the sidewalk. I must have broken something because it yelped and couldnt get back up just spun in a circle a few times and then died right there in front of us with the owners screaming her head off like I had done something bad. She called the police who did nothing but take a report and called animal control to test the dog for rabies.

My family later sued her for our medical expenses.

i know a guy who tried to blow his brains out with a shotgun back in '87. All he really did was take out a chunk of his left cerebrum. The only noteworthy things he's done since is learn to play the 4 string banjo and also snap the necks of two fully grown male pit bulls when he was hiking over by the lake. Take that for what it's worth.

He pulled it out.

He can walk and everything but he can't feel any physical pain below that knee.

I was working at a festival, when suddenly it started to rain heavily, i was working in a bar at that moment and wasnt worried about my stuff and my tent getting wet, as it was a storm tent, appartently my tent upper layer got lifted, because of the weak soil and my stuff got wet, being a dumbass i didnt put my stuff in seperate bags, so everything was wet. It was a summer night so it was really cold, but still very uncomfy.

TL;DR dont forget to bag all your stuff separately

Op pic happened to an old guy I knew. That crazy fucker just tore the dogs jaw off.
>>
I used to muck about on the hills near my house when I was young teens. There is an old limestone quarry with a simple wire fence protecting walkers from the vertical drop. You can slide down the grass there really fast.

One day it was really quite wet and I was getting crazy speed down this steep bank. three times it was all fine on the fourth my boot caught part of the fencing. It was enough to spin me me round backwards. So I was hurtling down this wet hill backwards and went straight into a bunch of birch trees. I was alright but I nearly died laughing.

>>

Dog attacks can easily be survived.
All you have to do is carry a real looking airsoft pistol, and a vertical foregrip.
Upon sighting of the vicious dog, you simply raise the handgun and attach the vertical foregrip to it.
At least 3 ATF officers will immediately appear and shoot the dog, killing it.
They will then inspect your handgun, and realize that it is just a toy and let you free.

This isn't strictly related to the OP, but I really hate all these "animal survival" charts and advice. They are always predicated on 2 things: 1) You are a giant pussy who has never been in a fight before, and 2) You have no weapons on you because you're a fucking moron.
>>
>>1171814

In Army Cadets one of my NCOs was running down a hill will an SA-80 LSW on long-sling, tripped, fell and landed on the weapon. Jammed the foresight and foresight block into his knee joint right under the kneecap. Was fucking gruesome.

>Algonquin Park long weekend canoe trip
>planned itinerary was day 1: canoe across all of Lake Opeongo, portage to Red Rock Lake and set up camp day 2: fuck around and go fishing day 3: back to car to get home for work the next day
>everything goes awesome until day 2 morning when it starts raining and doesn't stop the rest of the trip
>day 3 the rain turns into a storm with high winds
>clear the portage and 1/4 of Opeongo in the miserable weather
>wind and waves getting so bad that it's nearly impossible to control canoe
>pull over into empty camp site on side of lake to wait until weather gets better
>it doesn't get better after an hour
>say fuck it and call water taxi service that luckily the outfitters at the entry to the lake provide
>taxi coming ETA 4 hours
>spend the next four hours standing on a cliff edge watching the turbulent sky move across the lake

Worst outing I've ever been on speckled trout fishing in Red Rock is legit though

I also have been wreaked by Lyme sickness. I cannot eat red meat anymore or my hands and feet sweep up and I can't move the joints then I start shiting and puking and get these big red welts all over my body then I get muscle spasms. Then I normally just fall asleep because after all that I'm exhausted
>>
>>1177182
I had a friend who caught Lyme desiese, and she can't eat bread with glutton anymore. It makes her stomach get really messed up and her throat starts swelling. now she has to buy expensive shitty frozen gluten free bread at the grocery store.

To sum it up Lyme sickness comes from deer ticks in the south. The actual problem is that it hits the immune system in a variety of different ways, though almost always causing a random allergic reaction to a substance you have had recently. This is often a staple food and people can die really easily because you will keep getting sick untoll you relise you are actually allegic to a basic carb or protein that's in a lot of things

About the worst that happened was I "accidentally" camped on someone's land and they saw me. They called the police out and I had to hide in the woods till like 3am. They had the ATVs out and everything. I felt like Rambo.

Can't fault anything you did but can't take any pleasure in the dog's death. Would much rather you have broken that owner's neck and the dog be re-homed.
