I went /out/ in Japan a couple of times, I even got lost in the alps. It was fantastic.
You haven’t had breakfast til you’ve had pancakes and canned coffee by a still, misty lake with mt Fuji in the distance.
>>

because i don't live in japan and i'm not willing to spend money going to japan.

I'm more than happy going /out/ where I live.

If I lived in Japan, then sure.

I might buy a Nata from Japan and try it out on wood, though.
>>
>>1199499
Not bad, but he got some of the camera angles wrong
>>

if you're going to do something, you might as well do it right
>>

This desu

If you're autistic enough to purpose an entire trip around replicating some dumb anime, you might as well do it right.
>>
>>1199939
I thought it was the reverse, I thought, he was taking footage so that him and his animation team could do it later
>>
>>1199962
oh really? well, then that would make sense if he did it as a real world video study of the setting camp routine.
assuming his video was produced before he anime was made,

I'll be in Japan for a few months this fall, hoping to get /out/ a few weekends. I'll have to rent/buy a lot of the gear there, though
>>

Sometimes, yes, but you counter that with knowledge and preparation. Having food in your tent is a death wish.

paying for an out trip to japan when i can visit 10 national parks in US for same amount
>>
>>1199470
Been to a couple of places but you need a car to go literally anywhere more interesting than within an hour of a train station. Cars are fucking expensive here.
>>
>>1199499
If this guy got laid just once he would drop the little kid shit and finally act like a man. It must be awful being a father and having your son turn out like this.

Canada is better

This level of autism & dedication to a fandom is pretty normal in Japan. I work in Japan and I have coworkers do near-autistic shit like this all the time.
One of my coworkers is a cute chick in her mid-20's, literally doesn't eat any food. She has an annual pass to Disneyland and goes on a 12h overnight bus to Disneyland every weekend. EVERY weekend. Everything she owns is Disney merch, even her work clothes.

And I have another coworker who's relatively normal (apart from everthing she owns or wears being pink) and she was bragging the other day about lining up for 5 hours to have coffee in a Minions-themed cafe.

At least that dude is getting /out/doors and doing shit.
>>
>>1204755
You should intervene and tell her to eat more because you are worried about her.

Also, save money and move to a place that has a direct train station to disneyland which should be cheaper than a 12 hour bus ride to Disneyland.
