Found a pond in the woods. What should I use to carve a path through the brush? Pics aren't even close to the worst of it. Some areas you can't even see 10 feet ahead of you because it's so thick.

>>
I'd recommend a Swamp Rat Rodent Waki
>>
>>996052
Why do you need to carve a path?
Why can't you leave it be?
>>
If you are an Amerifat, Prepare for a shit ton of ticks. It's going to be a horrible year for them.

Do what animals do....walk faggot

If there is water then there will be a trail to it.
Find the trail
>>
>>996168
This. There should be an animal trail leading to it.
>>
>>996052
Do you own the land or pond? If not, don't disturb it.

Kys commie
>>
>>996251
Commie? When has honouring private property rights been considered communist. I'm not a political science major but I'm pretty sure private property is anti-communist.
>>
Fire. Once all the vegetation is burned away you will have clear access to the water. This way takes care of those pesky ticks too.
>>
Why do you even want to clear a trail? It looks like a small stagnant pond
>>
>>996052
Normally you cant rent a skid steer for about 600 dollars for 3 days.. You can clear it, and dig it out. And make it all pretty..

Otherwise. Cut a big ass board. Tie a rope onto the end. And stomp everything down.

This
>>
OP here. It's on family property.

>>996724

It's pretty big. There's a lot you can't see because the brush is so thick I can't even make it around to another side. This is pretty much the only spot where I could walk up to it.
>>
>>996052
See some beer cans. Don't think it's too long lost.
>>
>>996791

Where do you see beer cans?
>>
>>996794
Under the poison oak. Lower left quadrant.

>visible non aquatic vegetation in the "pond"

OP must be a fucking genius. It is not everyday you discover a pond in the middle of the woods that has duckweed in it or flooding vegetation.

Use glyphosate, it will make a persistent path killing every weed

Water dilutes roundup making it less effective so you have to use more to compensate

Ahh. Another pupil of our liberalised public education system. Two words for you my illiterate friend. Fifth amendment. Then again that implies that you're not in one of the worlds many socialist countries. If you are then please stop regurgitating the Marxist tripe they force feed you. Marxism is dead, hell communism is dead. When you grow up you'll understand. Now go back to /pol/ and let the adults have a dialogue.

>liberalized public education
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
mass Education is a corporate indoctornation system and so is most college.
I never learned anything about Marxism in public education
I was only taught neoliberal economics
I was taught that capitalism is the only economic system that works
I was taught the us gov was the good guy.
I wasn't taught what socialism is
I was taught that the USSR was socialist
Schools are conformity factories and any ideas that are not favorable to the powers that be are actively repressed/ obfuscated
You indoctornated retard, all you are doing is regurgitating the shit that was force feed to you.
>I got news for you, the fifth amendment
Lmao
Everything I know about Marxism I learned on my own and I am not a Marxist or a communist nor have I brought up any talking points that are Marxism. I'm a liberterian socialist and a market anarchist.
Pick up a book retard

You kids come up with the most retarded labels for yourselves. They don't even make sense or mean anything.. gassing the teachers seems like a good first step to saving the environment

i used to make trails behind my house. I usually set out with a rake, bow saw, and machete. The rake does a damn good job at uprooting vegetation you can more or less swing it through the air and cut down on vegetation without getting too close.

I got a tick from my lawn a couple days ago when I was working under my truck. Luckily I found it before it dug in for lunch.
Wasn't even near the wood line.
It really is going to be a shitty year.

My brother made a trail in his land with the smallest diesel John Deere tractor they make with a front bucket, a chainsaw and tree pruners. HOWEVER a heavy duty Weed Wacker works for me since I only want to be able to see the ground and keep the brush away enough so I don't get ticks. Do depends on what you want. My biggest feat was making a trail through the north Canadian bush for a four wheeler using only a small ax and a quest knock off Swiss army knife. I realized that I couldn't get where I was going on my Honda three wheeler. It wasn't a long trail but it worked
