Hints and tips? For folding, The best advice is to always fold as cleanly as possible, and take your time. Everything else comes with experience.https://origami.me/beginners-guide/https://origamiusa.org/glossaryWhat are ‘CPs’?Crease patterns are a structural representations of origami models, shown as a schematic of lines; they are essentially origami models unfolded and laid flat. Lines on a crease pattern may be indicated by ‘mountain’ or ‘valley’ folds to show how the folds alternate. If you’re particularly skilled at origami, they become useful instructions for building models. A common base fold is usually discernable, all the intermediate details can be worked on from there.https://blog.giladnaor.com/2008/08/folding-from-crease-patterns.htmlhttp://www.origamiaustria.at/articles.php?lang=2#a4
My first time posting here. I don’t even know anything about origami but got a cousin the hospital and have time to kill. Also works like to teach her some stuff. Any good simple and funny stuff that I could make but also teach her how to make? Stuff that looks cool but really simple. Also cute. Thanks in advance!
>>629449Sorry for the typos really stressed out right now so doing the swipe texting thing while talking to family.
This one is fun and easy:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWIWHDFguMUCan't go wrong with the classic crane either
I was looking for for my copy of ChronoTrigger in the basement when I came across this box from when I was 15/17. These are some of the letters and notes girls used to send me. Most of them are folded normally. However some of them range from unusual to insane. The origami folded ones I literally haven't opened in 15+ years because I don't wanna fuck up the folds trying to get them back the same way. Is this a thing or was I just living in a different timeline?
This one is similar but different? idk what these girls were doing.
Then there's this one. Which came from another girl. Where were girls learning these styles?
I’ve been making these shapes out of paper.I don’t print out the nets I just draw them with a ruler and protractor
Truncated icosahedron
I throw mine away...
Hello 4chan, could you help me make a paper mask like the one in the image? I'm new to the subject and have no experience. Thanks.
>>628013Demons aren't real lmfao
>>627583Idk man but those are cool
>>628220Heh
Use YouTube and look for paper mache Halloween and mardi gras mask tutorial. You can use glue instead of plaster but the idea is the same
>>628315>That sounds like it would defeat the purpose of a mask...you know...because God is fake.Big if true.
RE-POST REQUEST. It's been pretty dead lately, not even requests, so I don't know if any one will read this. Can some one please re-post "Origami Pro 7" and "Origami Tanteidan Convention 29". They've been shared everywhere else already, so why not in 4chan?
>>629442If it's 30mb file it would be perfectly fine. Unfortunately, it's 11mb overcompressed version. Crease lines are hardly visible. I don't understand why people upload stuff like that.
>>629443Understandable. How about reposting Origami Tanteidan Magazine 216, the one with the wicked basset hound? Or Origami Masterpieces by Astroña?
