Hey guys, I'm going to be making a new video series where I spend 15-30 mins designing quick and simple paper toys.

Leave a reply with a character or idea and I'll work it into the series. Cheers.

(example : Do Mario as a dog)

I've finished the model. It'll be released for download when the first episode of the show goes live, which I'm aiming for Monday. I have 19 hours of footage to go through and edit so there may be slight delays for this first episode to be done.

Great job! Sad chibi Eren is cute. Can you make one with the wings of freedom too?

It's done! The video is finished and ready to watch, click the link below to watch how I design papercrafts. As it's the first episode it's a bit longer than future episodes will be, let me know what you guys think.

The model is also now available for download, click the link below to print and build your own Attack on Titan figure.

Just finished the design for this project, I've only designed one animal with a set of weapons, but created a whole modular system that's easy to build so that other people can design additional animals and weapons. I'll probably re-visit this model after the video goes up adding some new weapons too. Pictured is a preview of the style and weapon set.

Here's a bonus video by the way peeps, it's an hour and a half of me designing a toy from start to finish whilst rambling and hungover. It's not as flashy as the other videos but I wanted to put it out anyway. I'll start work on the next prepper design video Monday, so keep those suggestions coming.

Hey guys, this threads calmed down a little bit so I've compiled all the suggestions you've given me thus far as well as suggestions from the video comments and Facebook onto a spreadsheet.

I'm currently working on the next episode, designing a paper toy of a Transformer (that will actually transform!). Thought I'd share a little look at the template. (Image attached).

>>555152 I'll combine this with one of the YT suggestions and do it.

Keep the suggestions coming you guys.

Hey all, this thread seems fairly dead, so I've written down all the suggestions you've given and will use a few, and then focus on the suggestions from the Youtube video comments unless I see a sudden burst of life on here.

Thanks guys!

Pictures below is the progress on the next video project. It's Soundwave from Transformers, the model will really transform, it's pretty complicated to design so it's taking longer than I'd like to get out the next episode, especially because of the more detailed style.
>>
>>555462
It's looking good. Looking foward to your other videos.
>>
It's here, the third installment of the design series, the most complex and time consuming design yet, a working Transformer.

https://youtu.be/vvK00PkL3DM

I think I'm going to limit myself to a single day of design time in future, because although I'm happy with the outcome of this episode the design and editing process were unpleasant.

I've not got many vehicles in my portfolio so this could make for a fun video exploring how to determine templates based on front top and side photos. I'll add it to the list.

Also, just generally keeping the thread updated with the various videos going up, I just uploaded one exploring a patreon toy. I show off how the bottom section of the model flips around so you're actually building it kind of in-side-out. Thought some might find the technique interesting, link below.

I'm still here reading what people are suggesting, I'm frantically working on a new series of toys that has to be a priority. It's almost done and I'll return to requests.

I'm thinking about making a new request toy once a week, but we'll see what my schedule will allow.

Take all the time you need, pal. Your videos are really interesting in term of techniques and secrets of such simple toys making, even if it's hard to call it "simple toys" after watching them.

Suggesting something complicated with already big list of requests doesn't feels right, and it's mostly humans and machines with robots, so what about something fluffy, easy and with already simple design (and probably something that no one did yet)? Like Bokko from The Amazing 3? Or maybe at least some tips on making more round shapes for your models while staying minimalistic?

Here's what I've been busy with recently, some of you might enjoy these. Rick and Morty paper toys, the plan is to do a whole bunch of these, make a video going through each episode of the show, picking out characters to make for the series and designing them.

Sorry, working on it, I often get a friend of mine to do the tabbing on models (gives me more time to design and I help them out with projects in return), however this toy proved too much for them to deal with, which is fair enough.

I'll try and force myself to sit down tomorrow, do the tabbing for this monstrosity and release it for download before the next video goes up (I don't want to add to my paper toy backlog).

Pic unrelated.

Have you ever though about making human organ diagram? Like to make a paper model of a lung or liver for kids play or learn with for school?
>>
>>556662
I designed this set of organs for an educational publisher at my last job, but nothing I can link to a free download for.

I remember this being a real brain scratcher to figure out how to design.

Designing toys of Rick and Morty, I'm really happy with how this episode came out, there's a couple of other short RnM videos on the way for the other toys in the line.

Op can you do Lottie from the Animal Crossing games. Or really any character from that series. I don't mind, I just want to look at something that cute.

Please make Michel Jackson from the Moonwalker game, crying child optional.

Hope you're still around OP, I ran into a tiny problem building this guy, the abs/penor piece is out of scale with the rest of the kit, so I had to resize it. Might be worth taking a look to refine that. Other than that, this is one of the most elegantly designed paper models I've built, big thanks for the work~

I'm still here, I lost my voice so can't make videos which is frustrating, but the next video is a request from this thread.

That's strange, this problem was brought to my attention just after the upload and the files were fixed and re-uploaded. I just downloaded the model from the site and it gave me the amended version of the model.

I'd recommend re-downloading and printing to get that final part at the right scale.

Sorry about that <3
