This is the first origami model I ever made
>>
Not bad. Also try folding other things with printer paper. Watch tutorials on YouTube, I recommend Happyfolding, Jo Nakashima, Jeremy Shafer. Look for simple models.

Thanks, I also made a duck.
Might try something tricky next.
This book comes with nice craftpaper and stickers.

I really messed up this butterfly
>>
Tip: run your fingernails perpendicularly over folds to sharpen them. It’s a basic rule of origami.

Thanks I'll try it for the next one

I have no idea what to do at step 10
>>
>>559551
I got the book as a christmas gift, I don't speak French, here is what google translate says for step 10:
pull the sections under the 2 triangles thus formed towards the ribs, then push them downwards

Keep in mind not to press too hard as well, it'll leave a line under the crease.

On a related note, try to vary your creases. You'll find as you move forward some models need hard lines, while others need lighter, almost nonexistent, ones.

Thank you anon

You pull out the stuff that's under the big triangle.

Looks good man! You'll be better than the rest of us if you keep folding at this rate
>>
>>559591
I appreciate that a lot, I ordered some folding paper online for when I'm done with the book

With the addition of piggy, bunny and a penguin, the book is complete. I'll be getting folding paper in the mail soon and then I will try something more challenging.

I took a break from Origami due to work getting in the way, but I've finally made something that's not from a childrens book. I followed this video from happyfolding:

Thanks for the suggestion!

Had some free time and decided to make something, I tried to follow this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YFt7Unj884
I failed at some of the later steps but at least it can stand up. I think this one was too advanced for me.

It looks a little rough, but it seems to be a complicated one too.
