>No we won't tell you where the samples came from and when were they taken
>What proves it was Assad? Well two airplanes took off from Shayrat airbase that day and flew over Khan Sheikhoun, our radar data says so
>Also there are witness reports
>Why would anyone want to inspect the site? No need, we have twitter and these samples
>We also don't want to check Shayrat

Basically they are making sure nothing is proven in any way while leaving enough fiddle room for blaming whoever they feel like.

http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2017/04/21/iran-introduces-heidar-semi-auto-50-caliber-rifle/

>My initial suspicion is that this anti-material rifle isn’t designated for Iranian forces at all. Instead, it is intended for Iranian-supported groups and advisors on the ground in Syria to combat the SVBIED threat posed by the so-called Islamic State or the vast distances that forces are finding themselves engaging each other in the Syrian civil war. The reason why I say this is that there isn’t an adoption notice of the rifle by the Iranian Ground Forces and the Iranians already have a number of more advanced anti-material options at their disposal. Such as the Shaher .50 Cal rifle or the 20mm Arash, or even the locally produced versions of the Steyer HS 50.

De La Maghrebien, deep has a point you know, IS objectives on Deir ez Zor were not "capturing the Panorama Hill" or "assaulting the airport", rather full capture of the city and they failed on this one, not to remind your "mashallah dez falls next week" pasta.
>i'm not saying that ISIS doesn't want to take that pocket.
>i'm telling you that they don't want to launch a very long and costly offensive.
It's kind of true, mostly because IS faced many problems due to Iraqi army mobilizing and "rooting" many of their units, somehow they've managed to transfer Chechen-led experienced inghimashi to DeZ and assault it nevertheless, it's a miracle it didn't fall really.
Russian intervention came not a second too early tbqh
On the other hand I wonder why Khayr is so important to IS, only thing comming to me mind is after all the pressure in Raqqa & Iraq they tried to estabilish their capital in DeZ, but after many failed offensives had to settle with al-Qaim.

Has anyone here or does anybody here know somebody who has been to Syria?
My best friend is becoming a catholic priest and he says his colleague has been to Syria just this year. To help the christian minority in Syria.
He's only been to the Assad controlled territories and says it's nothing like you imagine it to be. The soldiers are all friendly, if you ask them for the way they will show you and even will stop civilizans to take you with them and they will do so no problem. You don't need to fear for your life actually.

This really makes me wonder why the western media portrays Assad Regime as literal Nazis who want gas babies.

BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:25 P.M.) – The jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham, Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham, and Jaysh Al-‘Izza suffered their highest casualty total this month during the battle for northern Hama, a Syrian military source told Al-Masdar News today.

According to the military source, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) killed over 50 jihadists, including 5 field commanders these past 48 hours in the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate.

The jihadist rebels have already posted a dozen photos, via their social media accounts, commemorating their fallen comrades in northern Hama; this list of dead militants included a number of child fighters that aided Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham in battle.

With the jihadist rebels struggling to hold ground in northern Hama, the Syrian Arab Army is expected to launch a new assault to take the key town of Halfaya, which is located west of Taybat Al-Imam.

Here is a rare Issam I've found on some jihad-friendly Twitter account, and a related article on today's IS offensive on the city:

BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:00 A.M.) – The Islamic State (ISIL) launched a new attack in the Deir Ezzor Governorate that targeted the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) positions around the strategic military airport.

ISIL began their assault by storming the Syrian Arab Army’s defenses at the small mountain of Jabal Harabish, which is located just north of the Deir Ezzor Military Airport.

Following a short battle on Friday morning, the Islamic State managed to capture two points inside Jabal Harabish, forcing the Syrian Arab Army to tighten their defenses around the mountaintop.

According to a military source in Deir Ezzor, the Islamic State is now storming the Syrian Arab Army’s final positions at Jabal Harabish, as the latter calls on reinforcements to help drive back the terrorists.

And a second development just two hours later:

BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:45 A.M.) – The Islamic State (ISIL) launched a powerful assault in the Deir Ezzor Governorate on Friday that targeted the area around the strategic military airport.

The Islamic State began the assault by storming the two checkpoints around the small mountaintop of Jabal Harabish; they would capture these two sites after overrunning the Syrian Army’s defenses.

However, the Islamic State’s success would be short-lived, as Syrian Army reinforcements poured in to help drive back the terrorist forces.

According to a military source in Deir Ezzor, the Syrian Arab Army managed to recapture all of the territory they lost around Jabal Harabish, including the two checkpoints near the mountaintop.

The Syrian Arab Army is now attacking the terrorist defenses inside the Deir Ezzor Cemetery area, as they look to lift the three month long siege on the military airport.

THE DRUZE BEAST SHALL PREVAIL

Just in 23 minutes ago:

BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:30 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched a big offensive in the East Ghouta region of rural Damascus today, targeting the Islamist defenses at the village of Hawsh Al-Salhiyah.

Backed by heavy airstrikes from their air force, the Syrian Arab Army’s 105th Brigade of the Republican Guard stormed Hawsh Al-Salhiyah this afternoon, striking the Islamist defenses along the river axis.

According to Al-Masdar’s Ibrahim Joudeh, the Syrian Arab Army has entered Hawsh Al-Salhiyah after a fierce battle with the Jaysh Al-Islam (Army of Islam) militants this afternoon.

If the Syrian Arab Army manages to capture Hawsh Al-Salhiyah from Jaysh Al-Islam, then they will be in position to strike the key hilltop of Tal Firzat, which overlooks the key town of Nashabiyah.

May God be with them.

It's most likely alot in favour of the SDF

Mostly because of pic related, ever since Trump won the coalition has singificantly increased their anti ISIS bombing payload

Look at all the shit they destroyed ONLY today, and this happens every day.

I mean, it's hard to believe IS is even on the ground after so much destruction the US claims, so they are probably exxagerated, but still.

Boohoo Jihadis lost in Hama and cry for help:

BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:20 P.M.) – The jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham have declared full mobilization in the northern countryside of Hama on Friday after suffering heavy losses in the past 48 hours.

Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham called on all their rebel allies to send reinforcements to northern Hama in order to drive back the Syrian Army units quickly advancing along the Idlib-Hama Highway.

With Taybat Al-Imam and Souran under their control, the Syrian Arab Army has now shifted their attention to the towns of Halfaya and Morek.

Both Morek and Halfaya were captured by the jihadists in 2016, so the latter has had plenty of time to build-up their defenses at these strategic towns.

>>122141240
That might be the thing, aye.
>>
>>122138924
Yeah, I've been looking at the maps and the fighting that's been happening for the last few weeks, and the picture becomes clearer as to what the SAA's strategy is/was from the onset.

The Orontes river is a natural barrier and the current is high with spring flooding, and prevents direct resupply from Latamnah and other rebel strongholds except for what can be shipped over in small quantities to the fighters in Halfayah.

As long as the jihadist left flank could hold on to the stretch of M5/M45 Highways heading into taybat al-imam/suran/Maardas junction, their right flank wasn't in danger of being cut off

With the SAA now controlling Taybat Al-Islam, we're looking at a pincer movement from the east to cut off Halfayah as the airforce continues bombing jihadist staging grounds and resupply convoys in Latamnah.

We'll continue to see the 1-2 punch combo the SAA is using, biting and holding away at the flanks in alternating fashion up the M5 highway to Idlib. After Halfayah it'll be Latamnah > Murak and adjacent high ground > kafr Zayta > Khan Shaykun.

For starters; there was no coup. It is the way of Erdogan expressing himself. HE wanted a crisis and rise through it he got it. I was a soldier during that so called coup. Military was so disoriented about everything nobody knew what the fuck was going on. Result is with coup shit on their plate they manage to clear out the remaining coup threat within the army, they crushed all opposition in one fake move. People fell for it. This shit is too easy. You can only understand this by learning turkish and reading how fucked is opposition when they deal with these. Twitter and facebook is filled yellow bellied scum bags. They always talk about they are fed up with the goverment and Erdogan but some reason whenever we present them the hard way, fighting option, all of them go back to their holes

Safe space has the good thing about it being safe, and sometimes /comfy too. I think the point is people who would've act otherwise have too much to lose, for taking a risk this big.
Who wants to risk his life in a modern world when they can drink, fugg and whatnot in their daily lives?
So the staged coup dealt with virtually the only danger to Erdo's regime, and there are no other options, other than US & Russia fighting over the influence.

I think the odds of the jihadist being able to construct a tunnel system under the Orontes river are slim to none, putting it lightly. If it did exist, it would be priority number 1 target for some thermobaric bakery bombs.

I don't know how much longer the fighting can last in Halfayah. It depends how much ammo, food, morale they have left. The bottom line though is that the Jihadis in that pocket are dead men walking if they don't bug out soon. Their situation is untenable.

all the fighting factions in syria have political agendas and want to govern the area.
a destroyed village/town/city is a massive loss for all of them and an embarassment for their eventual governance.

No, by outmaneuvering them. SAA does that very often, see the moderate goatfucker "breach" of Aleppo siege, Tel Imam, most of Hama offensive.
All the moderate beheaders can do is lol TOW, and then they get surrounded and shelled to shit. It's a pattern that repeats over and over again, RuAF air support or not. They are just that shit at actual combat tactics. Sukheil and Soleimani aren't Rommels, but they can actually follow the time-tested Soviet tactics. Moderate niggers can't, because they are nothing more than apes with guns.

If-

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

I know, I know. Poor jew dindu nuffin. It didn't help incite the riots, it doesn't give medical aid to terrorists, it doesn't arm them, there were NEVER any Israeli weapons found in terrorist stockpiles, ever.
Jew dindu nuffin, it's the victim here and this has nothing to do with keeping Golan Heights unopposed or preparing for another land grab.

Courtesy of the "Syrian Arab Army" (unofficial) page on FB:

>Few key points of Commander in Chief's interview with Russian media:

>- Commander in Chief is not ruling out Russian ground troops deployment in Syria if needed: "Maybe in the future, if our enemies and their supporters, their terrorists, the proxies, change their strategy and bring more terrorists from around the world, and you have full armies of terrorists at that time, it could be needed,"

>- We have intel that Jordan Planning to Deploy Troops in Syria in Coordination With US: "We have such information, but anyway Jordan was part of the American plan since the beginning of the war in Syria,"

>- US Missile Attack in Syria Shows Lack of US Interest in Keeping Promises: "We tried to see anything positive, we said that what this president, Trump, what he said, we said 'promising,' I described it as promising, a few months ago,But actually, it's not about what they promise, because we all know that the American officials say something and do something different, they're never committed to their promises or their words"

>- No Difference' Between Terrorists and US, Turkish 'Invasion' in Syria: "When you talk about the Turkish invasion, when you talk about the American troops — again, it's an invasion — and when you talk about the terrorists on the ground, it's one entity, there's no difference. There's one master who's controlling all these factions. So, the priority now is to defeat the terrorists. When you defeat the terrorists, the Turkish army and any other army will be weak on the ground,"

Thanks, its quite strange how the town fell so quickly with low casualities from the SAA.
I have a theory that those buses sending the terrorists to Idlib have mukabarat with them or some made deals with Assad to be forgiven later. Something went wrong for the terrorists with how quickly the town was liberated by the SAA.

>>122141769
RuAF and SyAAF have have been intensively bombing Latamnah and other areas behind the jihadi frontline for weeks now.

You can have all the valour in the world, but it doesn't amount to much in the end if your magazines are empty, and you haven't had water or food to eat for days. Collapse at Taybat al-imam and elsewhere along the jihadi left flank is result of constant steady pressure on jihadi supply system and small set-piece battles on the SAA's terms.

You could mention the story of English king who was denied 3rd divorced and proclaimed him the head of the Church, or Canossa for that matter, why not?
The schizm happened, but Orthodox and Protestant faiths (altough it led to some of the most bloody wars Europe - world - has ever seen) have much more in common with Christianity, or even Catholicism, than any other believes, such as Judaism or Islam.
I'm quite with the Church myself, but my personal attitude is closer to the one of Gioacchino da Fiore or Jan Hus for example, than the current Pope.

ONE FRONT

I DON'T KNOW WHY

IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER HOW HARD WE TRY

KEEP THAT IN MIND:
WE FAKED THIS WARCRIME

(ALLAH KNOWWWWWWWWS)

NEOCONS ARE A VALUABLE THING
MORALE GOES DOWN - BATTLE'S FAVOR SWINGS
NO OFFENSIVE GAINS 'TILL THE END OF THE DAY
THE REBELLION'S TIME IS TICKING AWAY

(FSA'S UNREEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL)

NOTHIN' GOOD AT HAMA BELOW
ALEPPO OFFENSIVE GOES OUT THE WINDOW
FRONT BARELY HOLDS ON, AND ALL WE KNOW:
HOMOSUHEIL IS WASTING US ALL
JUST TO WATCH TURKS (GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO)

IN IDLIB THE TIGERS ARRIVED, AND EVEN THOUGH WE TRIED,
THE FRONTS FALL APART
WHAT IT MEANT TO BE TO BE THE FSA IS A MEMORY OF A TIME WHEN-

I TRIED SO HARD AND GOT SO FAAAAAAAAAAAAR
BUT IN THE END IT DOESNT EVEN MATTER
