How does one become better informed about politics?
Does anyone here actually pay for a magazine subscription to the Economist or Foreign Affairs or something?
I'm considering paying the $12 a month and reading the Economist on my tablet.
But then I wonder if that's really outdated and a total waste of money.

Economist is a liberal piece of garbage

Don't get me wrong I still read it, mostly because I can get a dirt cheap student subscription, but just keep that in mind. You can find anything in there from very sensible articles to undiluted globalist cancer.

I buy Private Eye every now and again. The only UK publication that isn't complete trash.

I don't know if the US has anything like it.

That's why I'm thinking of subscribing to:
The Economist
The Weekly Standard
Both are weekly, one if supposedly centrist but I hear actually a bit liberal, and the other is conservative. Read together, they should balance each other out and make me informed.
