This is every election cycle: Conservative president elected, cuts taxes, voters get pissed because social programs go away and president is dipshit, Liberal president elected, forced to raise taxes to fix social programs, people cry because more taxes, vote Conservative. Cycle repeats.

Why are the American people so severely disabled?

Cause most Americans actually want single-payer healthcare which wouldn't require as high of taxes on each individual as the current system that includes shilling for big pharma and paying for ridiculously expensive medical machines doctors use to make it seem like they're high-tech and worth their high salaries.

Lobbyists for private health insurance will stop that from ever happening. I had hoped Trump would deal with lobbyists like he promised, but unsurprisingly he lied. That's why medicare should be expanded to everyone, like what Bernie is attempting to do.
