What if Netflix just decides to get rid of wrestling altogether by pulling the plug on WWE and AEW to cut costs?
because wrestling ain't bringing in the audience that you think it is, and it's not bringing in the returns that you think it is.
Netflix spent $5 billion for WWE and it's a guarantee WWE ain't made that money back.
don't be surprised if Netflix opts out of their deal with the WWE
and with the failure that WWE has been for Netflix, they might look at AEW and decide to get rid of it as well. Netflix decides:
> we don't need no more wrestling on all of our programs. Because if we couldn't make it work with the WWE, we damn sure couldn't make it work with AEW.
>>
now that Warner Bros. Discovery got bought out by Netflix, that means AEW can't have their shows on TNT/TBS programs anymore. TNT/TBS are Netflix's chief competitor, because Netflix is a streaming service and TNT/TBS is still cable TV.
