Barneyfag has always been the bulk of /qa/ bans so there's nothing new there.
What I find strange is the furry emoticon guy often gets banned (and here's right there on the list a few times), but he has a thread active right now. The thread? This one >>1669368, where barneyfag itself has a dozen or so bans listed there.
>>
>>1683936
>>>1683870
It's all barneyfag. I haven't worked on my own ban logger in a while due to school (and it's a giant ugly unformatted 4.6mb file of 8512 bans that's not split up into pages), but it gives a better view of what kind of content is getting logged for what.

>>

That was in the hiro captcha thread. Someone was spamming to prove that you could still spam with captcha. I think that's it anyway, he wasn't very spammy.
>>
>>1684445
Mods deleted it all quickly, I don't think he wanted to waste proxies?
I've noticed that if anything gets deleted spam usually stops shortly after. Because, what is the point?
>>
>>1684446

rBST (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bovine_somatotropin) is a hormone that's disallowed in milk nowadays, but everything still advertises itself as 'rBST-free' even though no significant difference has been shown between treated and non-treated cows. Threads with this image have been popping a lot recently, about a show called Fushigi Mahou Fun Fun Pharmacy. It's an obscure show on /a/, and the OP really wanted people to watch it, so he's been posting these threads on a regular basis, sometimes multiple times a day.

Despite the frequency and lack of content, I'm fond of these threads, and the OP's aim of having more people watch his show, rather than simply complaining about not being able to talk about old shows on /a/, charmed me.

Hello. This is not true.
Some bibanon members are helping out on a project NNTPchan, but it is an open-source API more than a "bibanon imageboard". It is designed to be a decentralized solution to imageboards, much like Mastodon -a decentralized social media network popular in japan.
As with all bibanon projects it is completely open and you can find or contribute to it on our github page and see all conversations about it on irc.
I am confused how you can think bibanon is some sort of cabal when all of it is open and free?

>4chan cup
>culture
It doesn't have any aspect of culture in it. It doesn't generate any original content, traditions, memes or anything unique, recognizable or at least identifiable at all. It just aggregates the freshest memes from different boards and put them into football game. Actually not even the memes, only their names.

You won't ever find any flashes related tp 4chan cup on /f/. You will never find a single webm outside of boring dedicated 4chan cup thread on /wsg/. You will never find a single screencap or hear any stories about it on any board. But you will find instant reports and "You are banned ! ;_;" everywhere outside of your dedicated generals.

>board patriotism
Promoting your board and creating more exposure to it is despised on every single board on 4chan (except maybe /pol/ and /b/). For example if people on /a/ hate /v/ it means they don't want to have anything to do with it. Not a single board would ever want to have a game with /pol/ or /mlp/. 4chan cup is pure cancer, people will continue reporting you and you will never be able to have threads outside of /vg/ and /sp/ generals.

The unified bibanon archive thing looks like a recipe for disaster. The clusterfuck known as archive.moe showed us all that it is better to have single individual archives host 3-4 boards each than have one fuckhuge archive for as much boards as possible.

Not to mention that a universal site archive will only give further access to intelligence research centers to produce a new wave of viral marketers and hype generators, in addition to giving them general ideas to what the kids want or are up to these days.
>>
>>1712364
I feel like the site should never be archived at all.
>>
>>1712364
If people want to use archives for marketing I doubt it makes a difference if everything is combined or split up.
Managing all of this stuff seems like the biggest problem and less of an issue to 4chan.

Someone give a quick rundown on what's going on with those ghost girls.
Some anons seemed to seriously think authorities or even the FBI should be notified. Was murder involved?
>>

You mean the whole EGS? It was an autist’s made up group of characters that he was obsessed with. He went on a triple murder-suicide and left those deviantart videos behind as his legacy.
>>
>>>/co/96776633

this is also nice thread

Yeah, they were the mascots of a guy who went on a "mass shooting". He missed almost every shot, got 3 people, and killed himself. Also he thought that by doing this he would be reincarnated as them and gain power by people remembering him and following in his footsteps or whatever. /co/ has after all these months finally found some of his followers and has declared war. One of those people (possibly transsexual) has said that she was the master toll by only pretending to be a part of the group the whole time, /co/ does not buy it.

The more you learn about EGS the more you cringe.
