>Cycles Without Gellar Field Failure: 164
>Time: 05:49 Hrs

>A lone trooper, clad in a black Mordian uniform, clean and pressed, walks out into the barracks hangar of The Mater Lupa
>His pace is rhythmic and professional
>Once he reaches the center of the hangar he checks the time, each movment clean and practiced
>He pulls up the trumpet he had tucked under his arm
>Takes a long deep breath
>06:00 Hrs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhAzQzm4m9Q
>The hangar's silence is pierced by the call of reveille
>It echoes around the barracks, almost certainly ruining the sleep of anyone too lazy to be up on time

>What is this?
This is a Free-form roleplay set in the grim darkness of the far future of Warhammer 40,000. It follows the (often times) heretical adventures of a Regiment of former guardsmen and voidsmen which have been either hired or press ganged into the service of a Rogue Trader recovering artifacts, fighting Xenos and chaos forces, gaining profit and attempting to keep themselves being airlocked from the Trader.
>When do you guys make these threads?
Usually Saturdays at 11:30am Eastern Standard Time. Although we'll often make a new thread throughout the week, if we hit the bump limit early on

>Can I join in?
Sure, just think of a character and have fun! So long as such a character isn't considered over powered or unrealistic (I.e. a Tyranid, a Tyranid's brain inside the body of a Mechanicus magos.
>Can I have multiple characters?
Yes, so long as you don't use them to powerplay.

>How do you play?
We tend to use spoilers for OOC chat, and greentexts for describing a character's actions, but nothing is set in stone.
We use d20 rolls for combat checks and d100s for other things you may wish to roll for (I.e psychic powers, ability checks, saving throws, ect, ect...) With higher rolls being considered better.
We also have a Discord server if you'd like to join us there: https://discord.gg/Usm33A

Hey Friedric, me and Krasimir beat ya to it. We’ve been up for over an hour or so already and been here for much of that time. Good attempt, though.

>I look at the two of them, and speak up.

Howdy, we were just doing some weapons training, maybe you can join us?
>>
>>2959399
“Well then get it for me. I’m heading to the captain.
>He shuffles off to the captain’s room.
>>
>>2959362
>He smiles and walks up to her.
Do you want to sit down?
>>
>>2959421
>she wags her finger at him with a chuckle
"Proper wrist control is key for most fighting."
>despite the subject she seems genuinely happy to see her cousin again
>>2959429
>she then clears her throat and straightens up before stepping aside
>must look professional
"Harold. This is Martyushev Keasimir Milekh, he is cousin and dear one at that... He is first born as I am."
>>
>>2959430
"wait... what do you need from our captain?"
>>
>>2959449 #
>>2959429 #
>He nods at the man.
Greeting, Chevek.
I would enjoy firing down range with you and catching up with Winters fury.
>He turns back to his cousin.
Where you here long enough to see Papa before he passed.
I would like to know what his last actions were like.
>>
>>2959444
> she nods
that, that would be for the best.
> she goes and sits on the couch, only the years of training and practice keeping her from slouching.
> she gestures to another couch nearby.
>>
>>2959474
>she shakes her head
"I.. Was unable to be there. I had been told after a mission into the hive that he passed to the emperor's side."
>she seems sad as she grabs the auto gun and returns to firing at targets
"I was told he did not go quietly. This gladdens my heart."
>>
>>2959491
>He sits down on the opposite couch.
Listen I know what your going through those thoughts and feelings but locking yourself up here will do you no good.
How are the children dealing with this?
>>
>>2959512

>I notice her sadness and stand next to her and pull up my rifle and fire along side her checking on her to make sure she can handle the recoil.
>>
Rolled 4, 16, 8 = 28 (3d20)

>Training to keep the edge
>Must be prepared for the great battles ahead
>Bang, eject, bang, eject, bang, eject
>>
>>2959512
>He nods solemnly as he aims his carbine down range.
I assume you did not hear about Mama then.
>>
>>2959469
>He tries and gets knocked right the fuck out, snoring loudly.
>>
>>2959525
>she nods at his wordless instructions and adjusts accordingly before firing once more at her target
>give him a nod in thanks
>>2959535
>she stops her finger just before pulling the trigger once more
"What.. What happened to her?"
>>
>>2959513
> she looks at him.
I've seen them a few times. I've just been...
> she looks down at the floor.
> dammit he's right.
> What sort of mother am I?
> she looks at Frederic.
I'm an actual idiot... what kind of mother am I? To stay locked up in here, in my own pity party?
>>
>>2959548
>>2959535

>I stop firing when i hear them bring up her mother, oh darling i hope she is okay. I put the safety on my rifle and walk up behind her to catch her if she falls.
>>
>>2959548
After he died...
>His look fades to sadness.
She didn't make it through two Winters.
Thankfully your father took over looking after the younger ones helping Catherine run the family since I was the older twin.
>>
>>2959545
>looking at the cogboi sleeping on the floor
"why are techpriests like this?"
>makes his way to the captain
>>
>>2959570
>she takes in a deep breath before nodding and firing off a shot once more
>an audible gulp is heard as she attempts to adjust her focus back to the target
>grief can come later
"I am glad they are at least taken care of..."
>>2959561
>she turns to Harold
>her face seems deadpan
"Must focus..."
>>
>>2959550
>He gets up and hugs her.
It's okay.
You've lost someone you cared dearly for.
You're allowed this moment of weakness in private.
If your kids are anything like you, I know they're fine but missing you.
If you need more time to yourself I could go see them with my own to take their mind off things. Okay?
>>
>>2959595
> she nods
Please... please do so.. I just, I... I..
> she doesn't want to reveal what he is... not yet.
>>
>>2959600
>He smiles at her welcomingly. Knowing this kind of behaviour all to well from his children.
You can tell me.
>>
>>2959586

>I look down at her, and hold out my hand to her.

I am here for you, if you need to let it out Natasha.
>>
>>2959619
>she keeps the deadpan look on her face
"Focus... Please... Is family issue."
>bury it and bury it deep.
>>
>>2959102
>He thinks for a moment
Hmm, well in the mixed Companies, I served with the Mordians of the 50th 26th and the 4th Armored Regiment.
>>
>thats nice
>If anyone can help her its Fredric
>Slight frown
>Definately thought it would be walther...
>Well either way its not like i could help at all
>Mh
>Maybe... Ill go get a drink
>Heads down to the bar
>>
>>2959630

>I look at her feeling a familiar pain.

Sure thing darling, are you ready to try burst fire?
>>
>Haven't seen any trace of the Rogue Trader since the last deployment
>I know I said 'not infront of the troops' but hiding away is just as bad
>I doubt she was ready for that kind of combat
>Maybe I can teach her tactics and military history?
>It would be a reasonable and helpful distraction, I think

>He departs his room, and sets off to wander the ship for a while
>>
>>2959615
> fuck it.
> he's dead anyway.
> I suppose I should tell them
He's a... you already know what he is..
> she looks down...
A thunder warrior, you heard it from the men right? One of the ancient precursors to the astartes. A hero of the imperium
> she chuckles softly to herself.
he's going to die you know? Not immediately mind you. First, he's going to be put on parade, a big celebration will be held, and everyone will come out to see one of the warriors who reunited all of terra be brought back from the dead...
> she frowns.
then the custodes will take him away, and put him down as if he were a rabid dog
> she looks like she's about to start crying again.
>>
>>2959630
>He has a look of distain on his face.
Cousin, why is this kheking Chevek holding out his hand to you.
>He turns to face the range and fires a volley down range.
>>
>>2959637
>she nods sadly and switches the fire selector to burst fire
"That would... Be better. Thank you."
>>
>>2959640
"Firing instructor doesn't know hints well."
>she sighs and reloads before firing in burst towards target
"He harmless if... Hard headed."
>too sad to get mad at Harold
>>
>>2959657

>I Watch her fire the burst down range and hit the target while managing the recoil.

Good job Natasha that is outstanding.
>>
>>2959639
>He hugs her tighter and remembers how he couldn't save Gwen.
I know that he'll take down more of them before he dies.
They'll know the mistake they made trying to take one the bodyguard of Anne Portia Medici.
If we could go save him I would voulenetter to help you without hesitation.
>>
>>2959666
>she gives him a nod in affirmation and continues firing
"this is... Noticably easier than before."
>>
>>2959633
Ah, then you never served with my mechanized infantry regiment back on armageddon. You would of had loved our deployments especially our last one. We orbital dropped right into a hive taken over by orkz. it was a brutal fight and I lost many friends but the machine spirit of the chimera group I was part off fought furiously together with us along with the tank crew and we survived. Not many did but we had taken back a hive against the orkz in one attack. It was enough to regain our pride.

Do you have any battle story you are proud off in particular?
>>
>>2959671

>I give her a pat on the shoulder as a gesture of positive reinforcement.

Yeah all you gotta do is hold it tight and make sure it is on your shoulder, if you have it on your collar bone you can break it. Now are you ready for full auto? If you are i suggest you take a knee first and try it that way.
>>
>>2959679
"No touch."
>despite the deadpan tone and look It is clear she is still upset
>she then pops her knuckles before getting into position letting out a deep breath and doing as instructed
"need a drink after all this..."
>she grumbles while firing another burst
>>
>>2959666
>>2959671
>>2959640
>Turns to look at him, sees the interaction between him and Natasha and looks to Krasamir then back
I suggest you stop showing such blatant shows of affection, Chevek lest your met with a swift backhand in response fo conducting such frivolous actions in-front of her family.
>>
>>2959694
>He looks over at his cousin and nods in approval of her actions.
Asha, it's only 7 am.
You should at least wait till noon to drink.

>>2959697
>He smiles at his fellow Hussar.
Thank you for warning him, comrade.
>>
>He find himself in the bathroom looking at his mirror
>He know everything is healed and normal but he cannot stop putting all of his focus on one thing, his eye, his bionic eye.
>sigh
I guess I'll find some upgrades for it, mostly just for accuracy.
>He exits the bathroom and wonders around the ship (moping)
>>
>>2959697

>I look at the person, and chuckle.

If you think those are sign of affection, you are hilarious. I merely offered her comfort for bad news, and positive reinforcement for getting better with her new rifle.
>>
>>2959697
>she grumbles a curse while firing her next burst
"I have it handled."
>>2959714
>she sniffs his breath while he speaks
>it would seem he's beaten her to the punch
"Perhaps prayer is better idea..."
>she simply sighs and fires off the last burst in her weapon, then grabs both rifles and heads back to the armory to store them
>grieving can begin properly
>>
>>2959724
>>2959697
>as she leaves she looks to Harold then to her cousin and his fellow Hussar
"Enough.. Just... Enough."
>she huffs this out looking visibly defeated
>>
>>2959668
> she smiles weakly at the elysian
Thank you Von Engel.
> she chuckles faintly, remembering the last time they were in this situation.
It's kinda funny. you know? Here we are again...
>>
>after having given Cecil and Ross their gifts I head to the workout room with my footlocker In one hand and my power hammer in the other
>next up, Victor. He owes me a match
>>
>>2959798
> having gotten finished trying out the new arm.
> huh, nice..
> notices Reiger, walking toward him, power hammer in hand.
Sparring time?
>>
>>2959811
>>2959798
May I recommend the Training rooms instead of the Medical Bay? The Chief Medical Officer does not like it when we fight there anymore.
>>
>>2959834
> he turns to him
What are you talking about? This is one of the training rooms...
> he wipes off some of the sweat from his brow and goes to don his armor and weapons for the coming fight.
>>
>>2959811
>he nods and drops the footlocker before two handing the power hammer
"It's time."
>>2959854
>he seems to grin before placing the heavy armor helm
"It will be good to see how much Targ has improved my abilities."
>>2959834
"Thankfully the training room is no medbay."
>>
>>2959854
>*shrugs*
We have gone out of our way before.
>>
>>2959788
>He relaxes and laughs along with her.
Yes, expect this time there isn't a a filled chamber of council members waiting on both of us to get back to duty.
>He gives her a weak but genuinely empathetic smile.
So take your time. I mean this in the nicest way possible, the ship will be fine without you.
>>
>>2959758
>He sighs.
I'm sorry if I have caused offence cusion or if I have delivered news you weren't prepared for.
If there is anyway for me to make it up to you I will.
>>
>>2960195

"You've cause no offense Snow drift.. Forgive my reaction.. For now, The silence of prayer and a time to grieve and remember them fondly is what I'd ask of you."
>she looks at him sadly before exiting the range
>>
>Another day of roaming the regiment lending a hand here and there.
>Another day of being forgotten just a face lost in the crowds and action that may unfold.
>another day without the bane blade.
>another depressing day of silence.
>i nod to those around me and give a slow smile before progressing through the morning routines.
>>
>>2960243
>He nods and soon heads out the range himself.

>>2960273
>As he heads down the corridors of the ship he walks through the busy crowds of people until he accidently but sadly forcefully bashes into you.
Sorry Chevek.
That was a accident.
>>
>>2960188
> she chuckles slightly
Honestly I'd be worried if it WAS falling apart without me...
> she sighs,
> It's clear she isn't entirely over it, however it's been three weeks, she has a ship to run...
Let the kids have this day with yours, then I'll talk with them.
> she looks at him, in her eyes is some form of resolve...
It's time they had a mother again...
>>
>>2960320
>He gives her a proud smile.
Good, that's the answer I was hoping for Lady Medici.
They should always come first remember that.
>>
>>2960361
> she smiles
they always will.
> I failed them.
> I will not do so again.
>>
>>2960439
Good.
So tell me, have you you been eating well?.
>He examines the dinning table for any indication that she has been keeping herself healthy.
>>
>>2960464
> she looks at him...
> eating...
> she ate a few light meals throughout the week, but mostly... not much food.
> she sighs..
I... better go get something to eat.
>>
>>2960484
>He pats her on the back and walks over to the kitchen.
I'll make you something to eat, just try to get yourself back together.
>He gathers together some Penne pasta, white wine, bacon, cream, chicken, stock, garlic, onion, mushroom, butter and herbs.
I'll make a simple Elysian dish hopefully it'll be enough for you.
>>
>>2960502
> she looks up at him and grins
Von Engel I've eaten roaches, I've even eaten a guard ration bar. Try me.
>>
>>2960507
>You hear the sounds of a pan sizzling and water boiling as he proceeds to prepare the dish.
Guard ration bars are a elegant banquet in comparison to a Emperor's mercy bar. Trust me.
>>
>>2960529
> she winces at the sound of his voice
Dare I even ask?
> I'm curious but at the same time terrified of the answer.
>>
>>2960533
Trust me cyanide has a more welcoming taste than it.
>You begin to hear the noise of plates rattling as he prepares to plate the meal.
>>
>>2960543
> she scrunches her nose
> whoever came up with such a thing must die.
> they insult the legacy of chefs across the universe.
I assume whoever invented such a thing was executed?
>>
>>2960595
No they are still praised as a hero for saving resources.
>He walks through with two plates in hand. He places them one the table and sits at one of the dishes.
May I present to you, chicken in white wine sauce.
>>
>>2960604
> should I ever find this person, I will force feed him these things until he pukes, then kill him.
> she sits down at the table and looks at the impressive meal before her.
> she glances up at Frederic.
Impressive work Von Engel.
> she smirks as she elegantly eats a piece.
> excellent work.
> good taste, good texture,
> well done Frederic, well done indeed.
>>
>>2960611
>He finishes off a fork full of the ambrosia.
Thank you.
It's just a simple dish my mother use to make for me when I was growing up. I try to cook as much as I can to show my children a part of the culture they've inherented but are missing out on.
>>
>>2960615
> she smiles at him
You teach your kids well Von Engel.
> she takes another bite.
> and swallows it before speaking again.
I've never been able to visit Elysia, what's it like there?
> she looks at Frederic with genuine curiosity.
>>
>>2960628
It was peaceful.
The dawn on the Elysian fields as I went out to work on the farm is a sight no pleasure world could compare to.
I was happy, there I was considered something akin to a well off peasant. However to the populis of most worlds I've been to my childhood would like a fairy tale.
>>
>>2960641
> she smiles picturing it in her head
> rolling fields of green, no worries, no troubles, just her and the land...
> but such is not the life for her.
Sounds beautiful, I would love to visit at some point.
>>
>>2960662
>He takes another bite and decides to propose a bold idea. "Throne knows her and her children deserves it Frédéric."
Why not?
You and the children could take a small crew and the raider away to it for a few weeks to a month. You'd have nothing to worry about when it comes to being a Rogue Trader just a mother to three amazing children.
I'm sure the council could keep things running in your stead.
>>
>>2960670
> she thinks back to the island, to the spymaster, to Jackson, to the waaaaagh disaster.
> fuck it I need a vacation.
> she grins
I might just do that Von Engel.
>>
>>2960675 #
Good.
>He let's out a bright smile, glad he might give her family some semblance of normality for a brief while.
Miss Kalitas would do a great job of running things in your abstinence. I think already know that however.
I could arrange things for you when it comes to your holiday. I found some great urban attractions and wildernesses spots on my recent visit. I could even find you a nice cottage in the countryside if you really wanted it.
>He remembers his families recent visit to his home world.
>>
>>2960682
> she grins at the prospect of spending time with her family away from the ship. At least for a little while.
You're more familiar in such matters than I Von Engel. I leave myself in your care.
> Reena you have found yourself quite the man.
>>
>>2960685
Very well then Anne.
>He finishes off the rest of his meal.and gets up.
I will plan out such a grand holiday immediately.
Sorry I must say goodbye for now.
I'll hopefully have a list done for tonight.
>He begins to make his way out of the quarters.
I do plan on making it a holiday you all with remember fondly.
Even if it means that you stay at the family farm.
>>
>>2960692
> she raises her eyebrow at this
I didn’t take you for a farmboy Von Engel...
> a list hmm?
> sounds like there’s quite a bit to see on elysia...
But thank you for all the work you’re putting into this hun... I really appreciate this.
> she smiles warmly at the man.
>>
>>2960793
>He turns his head to the side to talk to her before he leabes the quarters.
That was almost a lifetime ago.
I sometimes miss the simple life but then I'm met by my loving wife and incredible children.
I have no regrets about leaving that life behind.
>He returns the smile.
Just try to come back from it a better woman.
>With these words the he leaves the quarters and the door slides closed.
>>
>>2959758
>>2960243

>I watch Natasha leave the range and i feel like i need to hold her and let her know it will be okay. But i know she needs some time, and she knows she can talk to me whenever. I ready up at the line and continue my target practice to zero in this new scope.
>>
>leaving the med bay

>I get my autopistol from the armory and head of to the firing range
>have used it not much lately gotta stay in practice
>>
>>2960839

Give her some peace.
What business does a former Private even have with her.
>>
>>2960871
>Two Bodyguards on either side of the door which you’ve come upon and blatantly knocked on look on at you with a sense of shared reservedness and contempt
>They are equipped in Carapace Armour and with assorted weaponry / grenades, they glare at you as one of them goes to address you
The frak do you want, and why are you here?
>>
>>2960884

> looking at the Bodyguard >>2960889
" I am Sarolf Stahl. I am here to continue my conversation with Lady Medici."

>>2960876

> carapace armor fits nicely over the arm
> still can't believe they managed to repair it.
> note to self, get Calius something nice.
> damn I owe many people many favors.
> alright onto this fight...
> he steps into the ring.
> hand adjusting their grip on the power claymore..
> having done some thinking, he finally decided to give his blade an official name.
> across the blade are the names of those who died, from his old inquisitorial force, the Eternal Penance, and the Firenze, the scabbard has its first name written along the outside in tiny scrawl. "Quintus Septilus Hantorion", "Scoob" and one other..
> a testament to those that have died, and as to why he must stand.
> With one movement he draws Memoriae and steps into position.
Shall we begin?
>>
>>2960902
>They step into his direct path blocking the door, they hold onto and grip their weapons but keep their fingers off the triggers of each only brandishing and holding onto them as they stop and halt him with a singular arm outstretched from one as he addresses him
Now is not the time to continue your “conversation”, she currently isn’t taking any visitors whom aren’t apart of the council or close allies & friends. So, with that being said & explained leave.
>>
>>2960909
>give him a solid nod and look over Sampson
>his gear is rather impressive looking honestly
>can't help but grin while tightening the grip on my power hammer
"Indeed."
> take in a nice deep breath before getting into position the. rushing forward with an overhead strike wth the hammer
>>
>>2960918
> Reigers blade barely misses the crusader, as he sidesteps around the impacting hammer.
> He jabs the pommel of his sword into Reigers gut. HARD.
> no blood here.... not this time
> if he goes all out again, Luciena will kill him for sure.
>>
>>2960934
>let out a pained cough and pauses for a moment
> follow up by letting out a battle cry and using the hammer to sweep at his legs and knock him down
>no spike use. disabling comrades from duty is strictly forbidden after all.
>>
>>2960917
>backing up
"Okay, in that case I will leave, but would it be possible to give her a message from me?"
>>
>>2960943
>The one doing the talking speaks up again
Mhm, sure what’s the message?
>>
> DAMMIT NOT AGAIN.
> note to self, look into getting a more stable stance.
> I should really have a mental to do list.
> DAMMIT VICTOR NOT THE TIME!
> he kicks his feet up, and using his momentum launches himself off the floor, Memoriae back in hand.
>>
>>2960944

>I walk up to the door and hold out a Data-slate to one of the guards, so i can give them the pills.

I am here to drop off the prescription for the Captain please sign for it.
>>
>>2960961
>One of them takes it from her and reads over it, they then sign for it and hand it back to her
>>
>>2960954
>just as victor does the kickflip hes winding up Reiger readies his hammer to strike
>once he was on his feet Reiger uses the flat striking edge of the hammer hammer to send the poor crusader flying
>>
>>2960971

>I check it to make sure it is all in order and hand over the bag.

Okay hand those to her and the directions are on the bag and the bottles.

>I then walk away and head towards the mess to get a quick bite to eat.
>>
>>2960974
> The Crusader stumbles to his feet.
> he stumbles dazed for a moment before refocusing
> Memoriae is still in his hands.
> he rushes the larger man, attempting to strike Reiger's side with the flat of his blade.
>>
>>2960990
>take on a deep breath and observe as he gets to his feet
>adjust the hammer and make it look like I'm gonna do another overhead smash
>lift the hammer and stop half way through the arc
>it's a feint. instead of a crushing blow I jab him in the stomach with his hammer's pommel once he's in range
>Sampson's strike hits and causes Reiger to stagger for a moment
>>
>>2960944
"well, that when has time to continue the conversation with me, to call me or meet me. thank you"
>>
>>2960999
> Victor skids backwards
> still reeling from that stomach jab, he raises his head to note Reiger stagger back slightly.
> my chance!
> he surges forward flipping the sword and grabbing it in a murder stroke stance.
> he swings it into the same side he hit previously.
>>
>>2961003
"Damn..."
>he grunts to himself before attempting to lockdown his current position
>a damn fine strike to say the least
>as Victor draws near Reiger throws the shaft of the power hammer in an attempt to parry the murder stroke
>once he does both Reiger and Sampson find themselves deadlocked with one another
"Not... An... Inch."
>>
>>2961010
> The crusader grunts from the pressure exerted on him by the hulking ex-krieger

"quite... Ze punch.."

>with a swift motion I use his arm like a lever and toss Sampson over the ring with ease
>>
>>2961043

> dammit.
>>
>>2961046

>offer him a hand up
>>
>>2961055
> Victor takes it and hauls himself to his feet.

Not close enough it would seem...
> he grins
That was a good match Reiger. quite creative with your use of the hammer...
>>

>After spending several minutes, making the proper rites, and channeling your way into contact with the door's machine spirit. You are able to begin the hacking procedure
>Hacking into the device takes you another ten minutes. Slowly fighting your way through ever changing rythems of code, that seems to evolve in an attempt to stop your access.
>However, you truely manage to the machine spirit who is boss, when, after another ten minutes of hacking, the door clicks on, and opens up.
>Several lights on the otherside, immediately flash on at this point. Revealing a hallways that goes on for 45 feet in a straight line, before turning to the right at a 90° angle. The eight foot wide hallway, has two doors that you can see. One of which has a long series of armaplas view ports, looking into it. Both doors bearing the symbol of the Inquisition upon them.
>The third door you found upon the map, cannot be seen from this location.

I would suggest look and test the hallway before entering seeing as there have been several surprises already.
And then see if you can see anything out of the ordinary.

Victor i have been practicing medicine for over a decade now, Humanity ha been making medical advances for close to 40,000 years now. We can repair and replace limbs, organs, brain damage, even the eye as complex as that organ is. But i hate to inform you there is nothing we can do to replace, or repair your testicle, i can however give you something for the pain.

>I pull out a small needle and inject him with something to numb the pain, but before he passes out i reach into my mystery pouch and pull out a walnut and hand it to him.

>Too your left, there stands a large door along the middle of the wall the door standing nearly as tall the the hallway itself (12 feet) and 7 feet wide. A massive armaplas viewport is built into the walls next to it. Running the entire length of the hallway itself as it stands from the average person's waist, up a foot above their heads.
>To your right, situated a few feet away from the door you've enter in, stands a door just large enough for an Astarte to enter into. A large symbol built into the door bearing the mark of the Inquisition, along with the words "Experimental Knowledge", written on a plaque in high gothic, above it.
>45 feet forwards, the hallway takes an immediate 90° right turn. Leading further on, and into the vast unknown that is the lab.
