>6 days into nofap

Holy shit this level of horniness is unbearable

You need to sublimate that energy into something higher, otherwise your body will get rid of it the only way it was shown how - down and out of your genitals.
Feel it in your spine.

I've never masturbated in my life. What's the appeal, anyways?

Momentary pleasure followed by a feeling of hollowness.

Just hold out man, it goes away in a few days

I've been keeping a faplog and I tend to lapse under the following conditions:

-It's day 4 (this has happened three times now)
-I discover a file on my laptop or the internet and kid myself into thinking, "I'll just find something similar / part 2 / a file it reminds me of / whatever and leave it at that"
-I usually spend a lot of time browsing the internet on the lapse day and it segues into deluded, rationalising porn-seeking (I'll just take a look and see what's new)

Fish oil, coffee, and exercise (pushups) appear to have been helping. I'm also going off alcohol for a while - it doesn't help with impulsiveness.

I should add that keeping my old porn on an external HDD has actually helped me resist it more than deleting it would have. If I had deleted it, I would have looked for it again. But since it's there, but out of sight and out of mind, I don't feel like something is missing.

...Not to clog the thread, but I want to give up internet entirely. It seems like a poisoned pill for nofap, at least in my case.

I remember how depressed I was when my internet went out about a week ago. I think it would be much harder than nofap itself.
