Post your fantasy football stuff in here

(5) Edition
>>
He scored 10 actually in that loss, not 5 but still not good
>>
New to fantasy football. But if I send someone a trade offer how do I know if they accepted or not? It just says pending.
>>
>>78231386
Depends, do you know if there are any veto rules in your league? Like does the commissioner review every trade or is there a league-wide vote?

If there is no veto rule then it should go through when they accept
>>
>>78231459
I assume the commisoner views them. It says something about the trade pending and being processed the 14th
>>
I drafted the chefs, but picked up the rasm to start for my D/ST this past week. I'm not planning on holding both of them, so who should I drop to stream this week? I know Aaron Donald is coming back, but I feel like Baltimore is also a fantastic play this week vs leaveland.

who are you guys planning on playing? I'd pick up the tardinals to stream against Indy but someone already drafted them.

I just traded a healthy Shady McCoy for David Johnson in my 3 keeper league.

I figure I've got RB depth and I've got claims in for Cohen and Ingram. How stupid am I going to look?
>>
My QBs are Kirk Cousins and Carson Palmer. Is it worth it to drop one for Siemian, Goff, or Bortles?
>>
>>78231589
Well, you pretty much killed your season.
>>
>>78231793
Hell the fuck no. But you could just drop Palmer anyway.

>>
So should I dump David Johnson now? 10 man standard league with extremely active waiver grabbers
>>
>>78232137
left easily
>>
>>78232116
That means they haven't accepted or denied it. Trust me, I'm in a league where literally no one trades and I send out offers on the daily. Just expect it since 90% of leagues are like this too.

I find the best way is to contact the person directly and convince them to trade or at least get a definite no so you can cancel it and spend your time talking to someone else.
>>
>>78232160
Do you want to lose to the guy who picks him up on the playoffs?
>>
Anyone targeting Josh Gordon? I know it seems kind of stupid but my team is very decent and I lost Woodhead so I don't even have to drop anyone for a waiver add since we have an IR spot. If the dumb nigger can stay off the ganja he could do some damage. Also just for meme sake someone always has him in our league.

I'm #6 and my waiver list looks like this:

Cohen
Gordon
Golladay
Carson
Buck Allen
Hurns
>>
>>78232089
Right, but it's closer than you would expect.

>>78232401
It's still a meme pickup so you could probably pick him up as a free agent after waivers clear.
In a vacuum, who would you guys rather have?
Hunt+Thelien or Green+Cohen?
>>
Okay help please. David Johnson was my RB1. He is dead now. Someone is offering me Jordan Howard for Doug Baldwin. Should I accept? I am thinking I can accept and then pick up Kupp off waivers.
>>
>>78232662
Kupp isn't going to be anywhere near as good as Baldwin.
>>
>>78231793
Take a chance on Goff.
>>
>>78232662
Additional info.

My other WRs are B.Marsh, Alshon Jefferey, Randall Cobb, and Ted Ginn Jr.

My RBs are David "Dead man" Johnson, Todd Gurley, Rob Kelley, Blount, and McFadden (who I am dropping)
>>
>>78232072
I'd add that Korean kid that plays for the Chargers if I didn't already have Lutz.
>>
>>78232072

Walsh is fixed, bro, and the way Seattle's offense is looking, they'll be leaning into a lot of field goals.

10 man PPR league
Andy Dalton and DJ fully fisted me Sunday

Dropped Andy to stream Alex Smith til Luck can return and picked up Cohen to help with Johnson going down.

How fucked am I going forward?

how much of my FAAB budget for cohen? i own howard already, 0.5 ppr. I was thinking like 26%, but I might go 31.
>>
>>78232109
Kupp
Mack
Cohen
>>
Why the FUCK is everyone on Cohen's dick? He is basically Darren Sproles 2.0. Literally worthless outside PPR
>>
>>78232872
That looked a lot better until I read it was a 10 man league. You could still be ok just keep your eye out for waivers and do your best streaming the matchups for the players you do have.
>>
Pick one
Hunt and Thelien
or
Green and Cohen
>>
>>78232928

Waiver priority #1:

RBs: Elliot, D. Freeman, P. Perkins, David Johnson (RIP)
WRs: Keenan Allen, DeAndre Hopkins, Tyler Lockett, T.Y. Hilton

My league gives return yards = to receiving points, which makes Lockett viable.

Who do I prioritize for my claim? Golladay or Cohen?

PPR: Maclin and Ingram for Gordon

>>78233282
You will have to wait at least 2 or 3 more weeks

>>78233386
If I was forced to, I'd rather stream some QB that did good this week over Dalton. He can't play much worse than week 1, but it's risky

Yeah go for it. Your waiver position doesn't really matter this early in the season since everyone else is going to be targeting other stuff and you'll move up quickly.

Diggs is gonna pop off this season. Wouldn't drop Sammy if you can help it, but Diggs is def the best.

not to be a faggot, but they kinda did this past week. granted it was against >cleveland, but I'd rank their oline much higher than the viqueens.

the x-factor is obviously Bradford. I think as decent as Kizer was, sammy boy is definitely a more complete player and if thielen/diggs spread the field like they did against the aints, it'll be hard for pitt to stay honest against the run. and cook will absolutely make them pay if they don't; that dude looked fantastic in the opener, particularly on the pass protection front.

Help me with sit start
And I'd appreciate reasoning to your recommendations

I kind of like Maclin because Antonio brown torched the browns on a bunch of underneath throws and Maclin offers the most similar threat to brown as far as ravens options go
Martavis I'm worried about, but the Vikings might shut AB down leaving martyBryant with some extra looks
I like jstew, the pathers are supposedly realing CMC back and jstew gets the goal line looks anyways
I'm worried as hell about Hyde, that Seattle front 7 is very Stout and I don't anticipate the 9ers taking a lead at any point and possibly abandoning nthe run game again like last week
Dez Bryant goes against the broncos which isn't a good matchup but he gets looks from Dak no matter what and he got a lot of redzone looks, and the broncos didn't stop Keenan Allen from scoring so maybe dez can too
>>

Cohen's been picked off the waiver already and Duke Johnson Jr is available, but I have my doubts because it's the Browns. Only reason I mention him is his role as WR/RB could be useful in PPR. I'm playing some kind of pseudo fantasy game with friends, and I'm wondering if I should just sell Texans defense right now in favor of one of either Cards, Giants or Ravens defense. I could also get Panthers defense, but don't know much about them.

Alternatively I wait and hope for improvements, but I'm not sure after their perfomance last week. Any thoughts/suggestions?

Start Carr over Wilson, I'm a Seattle fan and I'd be surprised if >we scored more than 15 points. 12 team standard, pick one:

M. Bryant vs. Min
A. Abdullah @NYG
K. Golladay @NYG
K. Williams @ Ind

Bryant. Highest ceiling of the bunch, most established player in each of their respective offenses. While he is playing a good defense, he's not drawing their best CB as long as Brown is on the field.

>>

>>78238227

Running back by committee. That means a number of RBs will play, so each will get about 7 to 10 carries, which is bad for fantasy. Avoid RBBCs.
>>
1PPR, pick a flex

Gore (vs Ari)
Decker (@ Jax)
Kupp (vs Wsh)
Jacquizz (vs Chi)

Leaning Jacquizz, but it seems ESPN updated the projections last night and thinks Decker will outscore him and Gore and Kupp will be within a point.
>>
>>78238327
Don't trust the projections, ever. I like Decker or Kupp of those but Jacquizz - should - do well enough. Gore is a bad choice though.
>>
>>78238183
No. Williams is trash, Ellington is between Tony Romo and Kevin White in durability, and CJ2K has golden teeth and a bullet lodged in his shoulder. He's the guy

I wouldn't be surprised if they bring in someone like Ryan Mathews.
>>
who do I flex?

Tarik Cohen vs. Bucs
Martavis Bryant vs. Vikings
Terrelle Pryor vs. Rams

Leaning towards Cohen but Pryor was targeted 11 or 12 times.

Yay or nay? Half PPR.
I know on paper I'm trading down severely but I just can't shake the feeling Gurley will bust (again) and so will Dez. Gurley barely averaged 2 YPC against what may be the worst run defense in the league.
>>
Leonard Fournette for Amari Cooper? (Im getting Cooper). Standard, 3 WR league, my others are M. Thomas, Fitzgerald and Kenny Stills
>>
PPR. Choose two to start, at least one WR.

Brandon Marshall
Bilal Powell
Cooper Kupp
Shane Vereen
Mike Wallace
Eric Decker
Kenny Golladay
>>
>>78238863
Tate is money in any PPR format, as will Hunt be. Dez has a lot of brutal match ups and Gurley had TWO (2) yards per carry and was saved by TD points and bullying that Colts defense with passes. DO IT BITCH
>>
>>78238847
10, yeah he picked Zeke second round and then Gronk I think

A rob ded best options are

1. Kearse or Anderson (which do you think is better) - terrible QB
2. Richardson - terrible Oline
3. Danny Amendola - a lot of other options to throw to and is easily concussed or injured

>>
>>78238480
>That doesn't change the fact that he had six targets
It does though. The colts were missing their openly defensive player worth a shit (Vontae Davis), so instead of getting matched up to a high-tier, borderline top-tier corner he got matched up with some high school tier player, meaning he got open more often and thus more looks.

I do think he's worth a bench stash but not much more than that.
>>

>>
>>78239214
I agree with this.

>tfw someone paid 45% of their FAB for Cohen
>>
>>78239214
yup

I'm glad my league just blew all their loads on this week. Feel much better about making them strong mid-season pulls.
>>
>>78239241
>>78239214
What else are they going to spend it on? Every season you have like 40% of teams who spend 1-10% of their budget. During the season you spend 1%-5% here or there for bye week kickers and D/STs and that's usually it. 1st week or so is when the no name guys explode and get picked up. You aren't finding some guy week 7 barring significant injury to a starter.
>>
>>78239272
While I agree the real game breakers are early in the season, how rare is it that they're found week 1? The first week of the season is a total shitshow with regard to projections and expectations. I'd expect to find this year's Jordan Howard (who was big in week 5 or 6 last year) before week 5 but not this week. Cohen will be good but he will be about as fantasy relevant as Sproles in his prime even if Howard goes down.
>>
>>78239272
OBJ didn't get picked up until around week 5 three or whatever years ago it was. DJ was the same thing. 1st week studs are super rare.
>>

>>
>>78239377

>>
>>78239377

>>
>>78239308
After the draft that should be what you are looking for. You aren't gonna turn a shit draft into a contender via FA alone. I'm more arguing that you take the shot rather than hold onto your budget. Deep leagues won't have many other options and in smaller leagues will have a plethora of options for bye week fill ins

>>78239353
You play in amateur leagues with inactive or complacent owners

>>78239400

Do I keep Larry Fitzgerald or Keenan Allen? I have Julio and Keenan in right now with Golloday and Garcon on the bench.

I was gonna flex Larry, but I picked up Tarik Cohen and think he might be better suited for the task, and I've got Riddick on deck as well.

At the same time, I have Demarco Murray but my RB2 options aren't good (Powell and Gore). So I was thinking of trading Larry and one of my RB2 options for someone like Gurley or McCoy, but I've also been considering Ajayi or even trying to get bell somehow. Who should I be trying to get? I'm in the same boat. Drafted Dalton in like the 13th round of my ten man, but a bunch of people drafted 2 QBs early (two people drafted 3 QBs!) so I'm stacked at RB and WR which is where depth is way more important for fantasy, he'll I still won by double digits this week even with him getting negative points. Hopefully you did the same, because that means you can stream QBs all year and wipe the floor with people.

The pickings are slim for me too, but I went with Bradford (Smeth and Tyrod were the other two I was considering). Whatever you do, don't reward an idiot for drafting multiple QBs by trading for one. They're more screwed than you are.

I don't like Goff or Siemian better than Dalton (who can and will bounce back to become an okayish fantasy QB again), but the point is if your league took a bunch of QBs early then your team should be strong enough to wreck them by streaming QBs.

throw in Gates and just roll with the entire Chargers offense while you're at it.
>>
Sit/Start PPR league
Which two RBs should I start?
Abdullah
Mixon
Powell
Kerwynn Williams
Also which QB do you guys like in standard scoring for this week
Stafford
Prescott
Kizer
I'm leaning towards Powell, Abdullah, and Stafford
Let me know what you guys think
>>
>>78241665
How the heck did you get Julio Green and Gordon on the same team in a 12 man? Quit your crying and stop overreacting to one week, also you clearly draft with retards
>>
>>78241747
But Jstew literally has almost 0% chance of getting a lucky receiving TD again this week. I didn't watch the game but did he look like he was sharing snaps with McCaffrey?

Forte can always make stuff happen in a PPR.

>>78241802
That's been my strategy for the last few seasons. Gates didn't get many looks from Rivers, even in the end zone, so i think the meme magic might be over with him.

I may or may not be trying to do that. However, half the league is probably lurking here and regardless, they will be trying to get him too

12 man standard scoring.

Nah, Gordon is stil a first rounder in PPR. JJ was going top 4 in all formats, Gordon was going late first round and AJ was going late first round to early second round. No reason he should have all those guys on one team, especially not in a 12 man.

I think Gronk is consistently the most overrated/overdrafted fantasy player, but Jordan Howard will be the league's biggest bust this year. He barely outsnapped Cohen as is (16-13 IIRC), and Cohen did much more with his snaps. Gronk will get hurt like he always does but by the time he does, Cohen will have taken the starting job from Howard.

And Hooper is straight overreaction trash.

this is the most amateur take I've ever heard. It's been ONE WEEK. There is nothing to suggest that Howard is going to lose his job. He still was effective running and gets a lot more space when both of them are on the field at the same time. This is more of a Freeman/Coleman situation than most people think. Howard has done nothing to lose this job yet and Cohen needs to be huge multiple weeks (which I guarantee wont happen now that teams know to plan for him.)

>>
>>78246672
If it was something like Cohen got more yards but only had 5 snaps, I'd agree. But they wouldn't have him on the field that often in a (surprisingly) winnable game if they were committed to Howard.
I think every player involved in that trade is being overhyped. Hooper will be a nobody, Gronk will get hurt as Gronk does, and both Bears RBs will have limited usefulness as they split touches.
>>
>>78246741
Carr is way better than Palmer, don't get cute with matchups when the defense Carr is facing is only marginally better than the one Palmer is facing
>>
>>78246720
the first game didn't factor into that theory at all.

So who exactly are you going to have run up the middle? Sounds like your football IQ is close to zero if you think the Bears are going to be able to get away with outside runs with Cohen all day. Defenses will adapt quickly. The 1st game was a flash in the pan with a guy who has no game tape to study yet. Howard is going to see MORE middle of the field opportunities because of how defenses will prepare for Cohen.

I'm pretty sure the waiver priority system in my league either doesn't work or is set up in a weird way. Basically what happened was none of the players I got (Kupp, Golladay, Hooper, Walsh) were owned so all I had to do was drop players from my current roster and pick them up. I think my waiver priority has gone down as a result but I don't think that matters since like I said before, I don't really think the traditional waiver system is set up very well.

Although I did make those moves early in the day, like 8-10 AM for the the bottom 4, and I think they were locked before Tuesday, so I kinda sniped them off the waiver wire before anybody else had a chance to get them. I missed out on the Oakland kicker who did really well (I think I waited too long since it was like 6 pm by the time I checked).

Regardless, in my league you can just add and drop whoever whenever you want (I'm not sure if that's how it usually works).

Punished Patriots are going to pick apart that shitting Saints D and Brees will be airing it out all game. NE will double team and safety help Thomas all night, I wouldn't be surprised if Ginn put up a 20+ point night.

Should I start Mike Gilleslee or Pierre Garcon this week? Standard PPR

Same with Terelle Pryor and he was a solid WR last year

I guess I'm just spoiled. I picked 9th and 12th out of 10 in a snake draft and got Julio and Jordy Nelson who were both somehow still on the board.

>Julio on the board at 9

1. Antonio Brown
2. David Johnson
3. Le'veon Bell
4. Aaron Rodgers
5. Mike Evans
6. Rob Gronkowski
7. AJ Green
8. Tom Brady

It's an office fantasy draft. I think some people were retarded and some probably thought he was already drafted.

>Rodgers
>Brady
