Going to share a treat with you guys.I've had this DVD for years and recently tried to find it on torrent sites just to have a copy for my plex player and failed to find it. So I ripped my DVD to get a copy. This is what I consider the definitive adaptation of The Count of Monte Cristo that isn't as wide known as the Jim Caviezel version which is no where reflective of the book. It's a 1998 french 6 hour mini-series that was long enough to be a bit more faithful to the book and I've re-watched it countless times. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. The Count of Monte Cristo (1998)magnet:?xt=urn:btih:zt5ajl6xgm5rno5bgvhksutqcrlmsgxo&dn=The%20Count%20of%20Monte%20Cristo%20%281998%29
>>883315Love the Jim Caviezel version but I'll try this one out too I guess>Highly Successful TV serieslol
>didn't use catalog view>easily could've been posted in>>850948 or even>>873547>gleefully kills off a thread for ONE torrentnice work anon
>>883379Its not British or a movie
>>883381it's called being an acception to the rule.you know, like how the japanese movie thread can/will also have other asian movies in it as well rather than nuking other threads for a singlar magnet that'll get no love after a few days.
>>883389>nuking other threads for a singlar magnet that'll get no love after a few daysThis. This is what is so disheartening. New posters on /t/ don't lurk or think these days.
>>883315Allow me to correct you.magnet:?xt=urn:btih:667ed00cb23e40203373e08ea9d448293002432e&dn=%5BMS%5D%20Gankutsuou%20%5BBD%5D%5B720p%5D&tr=http%3A%2F%2Fnyaa.tracker.wf%3A7777%2Fannounce&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Fopen.stealth.si%3A80%2Fannounce&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.opentrackr.org%3A1337%2Fannounce&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.coppersurfer.tk%3A6969%2Fannounce&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Fexodus.desync.com%3A6969%2FannounceAlso you killed a tread, you fucking nigger. I hope you die in great pain.
Awesome, thanks anon. The book is one of my favs.
I appreciate the post, anon. Thanks.
>>883765>A thread hasn't been bumped in 17 days boo hoo!cry more
>>883876>Not knowing how /t/ works
>>883315By far the absolute best adaptation, also check out the miniseries Les Miserables with Depardieu
>>883765I've watched both and the OP version is better. Shitty anime tropes and drama will always be a detriment to good drama.
If someone has a seedbox, let me know. I have a data limit unfortunately.
>>883943If there were a thread on page 10 that you liked, you would've bumped it, faggot!
>>883765The problem with Gankutsuou is that it takes a good revenge story and turns it into a coming of age story.I mean, it's still pretty good, but it totally missed the point.
>>885213I show 3 seeds on my end
>>8855487 here. idk what this even is but maybe i do soon.
Thank you, sir, was looking for a movie to watch tonight.
>>883315Merci Monsieur Jean
>>883765>this is your mind on anime
torrent noob here, how would one go about using such torrents?
>>886171how do these people find this board
>>883765Learn to use archives noob
>>883315holy shit thank you friendi was looking for this years ago when i became obsessed with monte cristo
>>887026Were you able to pull this from any seeds?
should probably watch it. looks popular but i have never heard about it before this thread.
>>883315Bumping for revenge on Counte Mondego.
I'm seeding this constantly for the past two weeks. Might kill my seed soon though. Get it while you can
gankutsuou is unironically the bestdon't @ me
Depardieu is ending up looking more like the books author than an action hero now
>>883315Why do all these movies having him get back with mercedes?
>>883315Count of Monte Cristo is worth its own thread. Also it's indeed a good adaption, good taste OP.
Finished watching this. Very good adaptation but
I wish they stop making him end up with Mercedes in all these adaptations.
. Otherwise very good.
>>890004Take a look at the 1975 adaptation then :)
didnt think that it would be so popular. its already seeded to almost 100 ratio and im sure that there are other seeders on it too
Hmmm...Count of Monte Cristo adaptation.I think I'll take a look. Thanks, OP.
>>883315ok but how am i supposed to understand french
>>883315Thanks. Also liked the movie version with Caviezel and Luis Guzman
>>883765>>883379You faggots are the cancer killing /t/The archive is a thing use it you plebs
I saw this as a kid, and ever since I always picture Depardieu as Dantes when reading the book.
>>894722dipshit doesn't know french
>>897416>posting in archived bread
>>898535people might be doing that and most here would never know
>>883315bumping. I"ll be seeding this for a bit.
>>894722dont watch it then retard
>>894722I think its implied this is english subtitled...
I don't wish to sound ungrateful, but could someone encode this? My hard drives are jam-packed with anime and other shit so 6.27 GiB isn't too good for long term storaged. until I get a job
>>906538Nevermind, it's nearly finished downloading anyway. If I ever get around to it, I'll encode it myself and put it on tpb
>>906538wow.. never thought that someone would have problems with storing a small dvd.. they are nothing compared to blurays
>>906538get WinDirStat and get rid of shit you don't need
Thanks OP, I'll start this tonight. I hope the casting for the mad priest is good, he's my favourite character.
would it survive if i stop seeding.. seen so many torrents here that died a while after i stopped
