Don't forget their new Chaos rivals: The Darkcast Immortals with Darkfyre Stormcannons and Bleakbolt Doom-launchers
>>
Quick recap from the Lore part of the Stream:

>Shadespire used to be one of the largest and wealthiest cities in the realms
>Incredibly advanced, with some mighty magic going on
>Ruled by an elite group of people I can't remember the name of
>Said group started experimenting with making Phylacteries
>Nagash wasn't too pleased.
>Destroyed Shadespire, and placed it in a limbo state between the realm of light and shadow
>The ruins of Shadespire are still full of awesome relics and wealth, which makes it very attractive for all kinds of adventurers to go their for a scavenger hunt.

Hi /aosg/
I just started playing those stupid sexy sky dwarfs. I'm facing tons of problems against local sylvaneth player. She just closes the gap against my army too fast and his treelord is fucking unkillable. Her list looks like this:

Allegiance: Sylvaneth

Leaders
Branchwych (100)
- Artefact: Ranu's Lamentiri
- Deepwood Spell: Regrowth
Treelord Ancient (300)
- General
- Trait: Gnarled Warrior
- Artefact: The Oaken Armour
- Deepwood Spell: Treesong

Battleline
10 x Dryads (120)
10 x Tree-Revenants (200)
- Sylvaneth Battleline

Units
3 x Kurnoth Hunters (180)
- Greatswords

Battalions
Household (20)
Gnarlroot Wargrove (80)

Total: 1000/2000

I've tried to keep my Grundstok thunderes at back line but then I get those revenants teleporting behind them.. I'm at loss. Please help me guys.

The artists have said repeatedly that the reason why some pieces are shit and some are fantastic is simply because deadlines have been crazy for them and they haven't had time to really focus on refining a lot of pieces to look better, hence why a lot are digital and don't look good

Would be very cool if Karl Franz returned as the mythical Jezus-figure to the God that is Sigmar.

Not saying as a miniature, just in the fluff.
>>
>>53305020
He died in the end times and his body was possessed by Sigmar. He became the celestant prime in AoS.
>>
>>53305066
Well then he can still be the patron saint of the normal humans right? Their divine aspiration, showing that Sigmar works through his mortal subjects.

Shit like timelines and 'making sense' don't apply to myths anyway.

And GW has said that the Celestant Prime is not Karl Franz as far as I know.

>>53305094
I hope so.
Tell me this isn't better than what we have now:
" The primary focal points of his military campaign were when the Orcs attacked. As an interesting side note there were three major battles against the Orcs with the earlier humans losing each one because the Chaos dwarfs had taught them how to make iron weapons while the empire was forced to use bronze ones. It was a completely different story once Karl Franz took the helm. During a massive battle against a particularly powerful Ork warboss Karl Franz was completely outmatched.

The flanks of his army were exposed and crumbling while more orks poured in. In the middle of the fighting Karl had met with the warboss on equal ground and challenged him to single combat. The ork who stood over 12 feet tall accepted. The result was so intense that both armies stopped to watch. Karl, being only human up until that point found himself on the losing end and slowly gave more and more ground until faltering to a knee. Sensing their beloved emperors death his soldiers cried out. The warboss prepared to deliver the final blow but beneath his breath Karl had been praying to Sigmar, to deliver not himself but his people from the tyranny of the orks. His prayer was not ignored and a shining beam split the skies and befell his battered form.

The ork warboss could only look on in horror as the ones battle weary human before him had now assumed the image of a towering barbarian god, a god so powerful they recognized the entity as Sigmar. With one massive blow to the warbosses head, he fell to the ground and died almost instantly. Karl Franz had transcended a simple mortal coil and was now fully recognized as the true heir of Sigmar himself"
>>
>>53305130
Which is sorta what happens here:

https://youtu.be/5enBMSH5ghc

Sigmar was cool when he was in the background. Not now when he has spoken word and squabbles with the other gods. It makes him seem less.
>>
>>53305130
I think the main thing we'd need to know is if the general population has any idea of what the World that Was is.

If so, they might revere that as their rich ancestral home, their birthplace before their 'exodus' to the mortal realms and their subsequent destruction and rescue by Sigmar.

Karl Franz could be the prophet of Sigmar, in the Old Days of Myth (although the age of myth is already defined as an era in the fluff now)
>>

>>
>>53305198
>I think the main thing we'd need to know is if the general population has any idea of what the World that Was is.

I assume so as any lore-keeping race should have an idea of what came before at least in vague myths.

Doesn't Sigmar's temple have mention of the Old world? you can assume Stormcast have some memories, especially those forged from heroes who actually died during End times, they must have mentioned this during interactions with humans at some point, somewhere.

Nagash could inform any of his subjects of what happened, but i suppose it serves no purpose, and he's kind of a dick who keeps info to himself.

Seraphon obviously have the memories imprinted in their souls and minds of the Slann who dreams them into existence.

Skaven, specially clan Pestilens have the same imprint memories of Lustria and roughly what took place when fighting their ancient enemies, the World that was is mentioned in the 13 Libers, Vermanlanx survived to rebuild Pestilens and it's hinted Skrolk ascended to Verminlord status, so some of them were present.

Most of Skavenblight survived, though typical Skaven do not record history and any records that do are so biased and edited they are basically just propaganda. we need more lore on who made it to Rat-daemonhood

Finally, i can't imagine any Destruction race would bother to look to the pas mucht. Beastclaw legends and cave-paintings only go back to the age of Myth and nothing earlier
>>
>>53305094
No one but the gods seems to remember the Old World.

Hey! New player here, considering getting into the game, and looking for some advice on what faction to try. I've played a moderate amount of 7e 40k and I'm really big on options and customizations within a force, so I can use the same units multiple ways. In 40k this led me to Tau due to the numerous ways their core units could be kitted out. Looking through AoS units, I'm not really seeing many options for the units themselves.

Barring a super customizable faction, I do enjoy wizardly flavor. Collegiate Arcane and Eldritch Council both sounded cool, but I see very few units for them. Suggestions?

You would first of all just be torn apart by other slaves, and would never have the support of other Skaven for not being one. Also anything warpstone related kills you

The only clan where you could even survive without being killed by the presense of: Poison fumes, Warpstone radiation, Horrible diseases, faulty technology or mindless abomination monsters would be Eshin. Maybe you could become a top Assassin's personal slave or taskrunner

But again, Being Eshin this is immediately weaboo Naruto fanfiction tier

Depends on how much money you are willing to spend, Tamurkhan and his army are Forge World models. You can get his entire battalion for around $400 if I remember correctly.
That being said, Tamurkhan is a complete beast, he eats other heroes for breakfast, his toad hits like a truck and he heals each turn. His command ability is also nice, especially for the very scary plague ogres.
Other than him and the ogres, the rest of his army is pretty unimpressive. I'd say you are better off filling the rest of the list with the standard Nurgle shit
>>

Blight Guard
Plaguetouched Warband with 28 marauders or warriors

Some mixed nurgle stuff Glottkin boost through the moon
30 plaguebearers,
Plague Drones with the Plague Priest +1 wound debuff flanked by a GUO.
Congregation of Flith. Your groups of 20 buffed monks have 4 attacks each on charge rerolling hits and wounds or death frenzy/

My problem with full Nurgle mortal shit is you need to Harbinger to get the 5+ invuln demons get by default. Without it you aren't tough unless you run a huge marauder tarpit, and your still slow with no rend or mortal wounds.
>>
>>53310560
Since you are using the mighty lord of khorne, you could consider using the goretide megabattalion.

It gives all units in the megabattalion a d6 move during the hero phase and would help get your units into combat faster. It also allows you to move your bloodsecrator while keeping the banner planted and the slaughterpriests can reposition to get in range for their prayers. I don't remember if there are any special requirements to including the goreplilgrims inside the megabattalion but if it is possible to do so, consider the following list.

Allegiance: Khorne
Mighty Lord Of Khorne (140)
- General
Exalted Deathbringer (80)
- Ruinous Axe & Skullgouger
Slaughterpriest (100)
- Bloodbathed Axe
Slaughterpriest (100)

5 x Blood Warriors (100)

He's noncanon, because Games Workshop are faggots and refuse to acknowledge FW stuff, and FW are too busy making shitty Horus Heresy shoulder pad variants to care about writing updated fluff for their fantasy range.

How? That is false. Sigmar didn't start taking souls for his stormcast eternal project until the age of chaos, which is after the age of myth, which happened waaaaay after the world that was.

There are no stormcast eternals from the old world in any way shape or form. Sigmar wasn't taking souls during the end times.

>>
>>53314594
thats for open and narrative play. when doing matched play, you use the latest warscrolls, because those are the warscrolls with listed points
>>
>>53314594
Because matched play has a different set of rules
>>

If base sizes don't matter and it would actually be beneficial to have your guys in the smallest base sizes possible, why does GW push the round base and rebazing meme?
>>
>>53315578
Round bases look better. That's pretty much it. It also makes things more cost effective for them if they only need to produce round bases for all games, rather than rounds for some, and squares for another.

Many tournaments are starting to heavily encourage round basing because of the advantage square bases have. Adepticon put up a rule that having square bases doesnt DQ you from playing, but will DQ you from paint judging or presentation awards.

Others are ruling that if the kit comes with round bases, those are the ones you are supposed to use. If not, then they will have a conversion chart for it. IE: 20mm squares use 25mm rounds, and so on.

With the 'bases they come with' that extends to reboxing. An example would be chaos warriors. While they got a reboxing which comes with 32mm rounds, many game stores still sell the old boxes that just come with square bases. In those cases you would need to get 32mm rounds for them because the reboxing made the base size official for them.

Basically basing does matter because pretty much everyone on the planet uses the base-to-base measuring houserule. You will be hard-pressed to find anyone that doesnt do b2b.

Speaking of beastmen, OH SHIT I JUST FUCKING REALIZED!

I've wanted to collect some beastmen models, but never wanted to an entire army. And I run nurgle keyword stuff, so beastmen would be out of place with them.

Age of Sigmar Skirmish, i have my reason. Maybe all i need is the ungors and gors kits and I can build what i need from that with some creative converting. I'm looking forward to seeing this rulebook.
>>
>>53315680
Because some autists care more about it than GW? That's sad.
>>
>>53304114
How do you think pestilens will fare with 3 different guys
>>
>>53316373
It's not autism. It's just the game coming to a standard, is all. It is known among TO's that square bases provide a distinct advantage over round bases, and don't feel it is right that in order to get that advantage you need to be on squares, which is a form of modeling for advantage. It's just best everyone fits a standard for these things. It's only fair.
>>
>>53316396
I wouldn't even use them as monopestilens... like the whole point is to get the keyword benefit like with BONE SPLITTAS, etc right?

Why not just play skaven or chaos?
Use all your cool pestilens stuff but throw in some rat ogres if you want, or a stormfeind if it has points etc.

I'm planning on playing an army like in this photo here >>53313926

Its still fluffy and you don't miss out on anything because there shouldn't be any of the buffs you get from battletomes
>>
>>53316368
wait and see what gets points in the book.
I am painting up 10 ungor raiders and 10 gor right now but I had them from before.
If he is in the new book, ill be using a doombull or minotaur as my leader instead of a beastmaster because they are just cool. I like having all the little doods lead by a bigger dude.
>>
>>53314594
so the take away here is that even though its technically legal to use any war scroll version in matched play games its typically frowned upon?

The broken world is the one hanging in Azyr, which is literally the remains of the old world. Why the fuck would they be referring to some random ass planet in chamon? In the very first AoS book they mentioned that there were souls from the old world still clinging to mallus and that some even solidified. If we put 2 and 2 together, the Anvils of heldenhammer were forged from these souls, made possible by some weird dark magic going on at the time.

In the vermintide times (WHFB pre and during the end times, before AoS), nobody played skaven all segregated like it is now in AoS.

You just played Skaven, using ALL their units in their old book, and only PAINTED them as whatever faction you wanted. Everyone used Clanrats, warp lightning cannons, doomwheels, etc. Go and even try to find an 8th edition WHFB list without a Hellpit Abomination.

Even in vermintide you can see that you are fighting skaven from all the factions at one time.

Impossible to tell without rules, Censer Bearers if they are 1 point could be good.

It's a great sculpt but it's impossible to assemble without retooling it quite a bit.

I wonder what kind of Skaven heroes will be in the Skirmish book. They only have plastic Grey Seers and Warlords. Although according to the info we have, it's just points/5 for heroes so shouldn't be too hard then to add more heroes.

I made my GW assemble it for me

>>
>>53308718
GW has had periods in the past where they didn't update an army for 10 years easily. See Dark Eldar Sisters of Battle, Bretonnia or Orks.
4 years is the usual turnaround for updates I'd say.
So crying after 2 years seems kind of pointless.
>>
>>53319351
Fyreslayers are sort of slow, but they kick ass in melee. Tht have some cool lore with trying to regain their lost god's power by literally hammering golden fragments of him into their flesh. Right now they are a very difficult army to play in matched because they are meant to be a horde army but are not priced in points that way. They rely on a lot of synergy and hero redundancies, but it's hard to achieve with their points expenses. However ghb2 looks to give them a much needed boost with an army wide major points reduction.

Nurgle is also slow, but hard to kill. Some of their strongest builds center around plaguebearers and guo. They are just really hard to take out when synergized with some battalions. Mortal Nurgle is less strong, but play similarly. They Ally well with slaves to darkness units that take the Nurgle keyword because they have a lot of AoE buffing and damaging that centers around shit with the Nurgle keyword. Skaven pestilens works well with them too.

>>
>>53319448
In this list (>>53314426) I basically ran out of points after fitting in the battalions.

If you dropped the gore pilgrims battalion and bring a single bloodsecrator and Valkia instead, you would have 340 points to play around with. The bloodsecrator (since he can be taken in the Goretide) would be able to do the d6 movement in the hero phase while planting his banner to reposition himself so the loss of the gore pilgrims extra range is slightly migitated.

As a result, the core of the list would look like this:

Allegiance: Chaos
Mighty Lord Of Khorne (140)
Exalted Deathbringer (80)
- Ruinous Axe & Skullgouger
Bloodsecrator (120)
Valkia The Bloody (120)
5 x Blood Warriors (100)
- Goreaxes
5 x Blood Warriors (100)
- Goreaxes
5 x Blood Warriors (100)
- Goreaxes
5 x Skullreapers (140)
- Goreslick Blades
5 x Skullreapers (140)
- Goreslick Blades
The Goretide (40)
Slaughterborn (80)

Total: 1160/1500

You should try to experiment around with the last 340 points to find something you like. You could fill these points with 2 ×10 bloodreavers, 5 blood warriors and the khorgorath for now if you have the khorne half of the starter set or 2 × 10 blood reavers + 2 × slaughter priests if you want to use the prayers or fill it up with whatever units you want, preferably with some more damage dealers / cheap chaff (blood tithe fodder) units.

I have never heard of the Old World referred to as the Broken World

AOH could be from the Old World, but the Stormcast were explicitly stated to be taken from human heroes in the Age of Chaos.

The realms are infinitely large and contain multiple planets (or even galaxies?) each, it is far more likely that the "Broken World" is just some planet in some realm (probably Shyish?). You are reading too much into it.
>>
>>53317821
>how many points do they cost

0 if you have Sylvaneth Allegiance

>do i need to include them in my list?
No, you create them throughout the game so you don't include them in your list.

>if i can summon them with magic or an artifact do i still need to pay the points cost (whatever that points cost may be)?
Yes. Any time you add models to the table you must pay their cost from your Reinforcement pool.
If you have Sylvaneth Allegiance the cost is 0.
>>
>>53321208
The mortal realms falling to chaos is a relatively recent event. The Anvils are described as ancient souls from an equally old "realm". Them coming from one of the mortal realms that fell just a few hundred years ago does not fit the description.
>>
>>53321318
300 years is long enough to be considered ancient

So AoS skirmish is up for sale on the NZ site.

Again, it's going to be $10 usd. Really no reason not to buy it (pic related is a low res image they provide on the site. Guess the available chaos factions?)

They are also selling mini start collecting for ironjaws, flesh eater courts, khorne bloodbound, and stormcast eternals. all about $65 each. Not sure they are worth it, because for $20 more you just get a real start collecting with way more stuff.

Whats really cool is they are selling gardens of morr, repackaged as Sigmarite Mausoleum. It think its going to be about $75. Expensive for terrain, but if you always wanted gardens of morr, now you have it. Not sure what it was priced at before.

And a 4x4 snow covered graveyard battlemat. I think its going to be about $85. About the same price as most 4x6 battlemats. There is absolutely no reason to buy a GW battlemat.

>>53329998
Im seeing:

Brayherds
Clans Eshin
Clans Moulder
Clans Pestilens
Clans Skryre
Clans Verminus
Daemons of Khorne
Daemons of Nurgle
Daemons of Tzeentch
Everchosen

Not a lot of options in each, but if one of those was what you were hoping for, you can at least rest easy. The rest are going to have to wait to see if their chosen faction will be in it.
>>
>>53323118
We will a Nurgle battletome around the same time as Death Guard, it's pretty much a certainty
>>
>>53329998
Yay I have my warband already done.
50 points with a cap of 20 models,
My brayherd with a bestigor leader is good to go.
>>
>>53330130
Hey I was thinking of doing brayherds as well. What options do you see there. I think I see gors, ungor raiders, bestigors, ungors and great bray shaman? I'm not seeing a beastlord, probably because one isn't available in plastic
>>
>>53330130
>bestigor leader
Can you do that? Does your leader actually get something like a wounds boost or is it still treated as a 1w model. That seems unfair for warbands with actual hero models
>>

My list:
Chaos GA
1 Stormfeind - 20
10 clanrats - 10
1 warlock engineer - 20
50/50

eat shit humans
>>
>>53330229
word on the street is you get to make one a hero.
worst case ill use him as a shaman, just because I had the model
>>
>>53330262
1 varanguard - 24
10 ungor raiders (for range attack) - 20
6 ungor - 6
50/50
>>
Everyone is going to have to take spells or ranged attack against khorne because they have wrathmongers in their new box. They will wreck anything in melee unless they are like 30 points each
>>
>>53330291
Making him a hero gives him more wounds at least?
>>
>>53330385
I just read the text in the tiny screenshot
says
>minimum 3 models in your army, one MUST have the hero/leader keyword.
So I guess you have to take one. I don't like the bray shaman so ill use a leader from a different chaos army, a chaos lord or a Doombull if they are in.
>>
>>53330262
I wonder if 1 pink horror is still a wizard.
>>
>>53330444
its 3 points each so... maybe? That's really expensive.
Since there is still rule of 1, you wont have enough spells to use with them though.
>>
>>53330584
There's three extra spells in skirmish, its unlikely but you might get lore of change still. All the point cost look like they were just scaled off of matched play cost without regard to actual effectiveness.
>>
>>53329998
Makes me wonder if one Stormfiend could just plow through 20 clan rats. I might do some math hammer.
>>
>>53305630
>I assume so as any lore-keeping race should have an idea of what came before at least in vague myths.
Actually the whole fluff I made around my Aelve army (old High Elves) is that they are an order of warrior-scholars dedicated to study the lore of the world that was.

Basically militant archaeologists that will beat the shit out of you if you are keeping them away from any artefact of the world that was
>>
>>53331443
Dude that's pretty cool. Get the empire battle wizards kit for lots of good scholarly bits to make them look the part. I like the lore you got. They study the world that was because they believe it could unlock secrets of the realms and how chaos got the upper hand with its destruction.

Shit son I kinda want to copy you lol
>>
>>53305020
Sigmar coming back in any form but Valten- Blacksmith Hammermurder Jesus was a mistake
>>
>>53331441
well since every model is a unit, it would waste all its attacks every round on 1 dood.
I think a 20 clanrat swarm would wrek one
>>
>>53330262
Forge world please release rules god damn it
>>
>>53331993
Its looking like there's a point where the Stormfiend gets overwhelmed. With Ratling guns he dominates 10 of them, but 20 drag him down with ease. Using your own crap dudes to flank your big models and block off swarming pile-ins is going to be super important.
>>
>>53332137
In melee cant you split your attacks between multiple targets?
>>
>>53330262
Clanrats or plague monks?
>>
>>53332217
You can, so long as they are in range.
>>
>>53329998
The sigmarite Mausoleum seems to be two garden kits in one box. since the garden says 3 mausoleums and one statue and Sigmarite says 6 and 2. So if it IS only $85 then it's a $15 price cut
>>
>>53332335
10 Plague Monks do triple the damage 10 clan rats do. If they Charge they do about 4.5x as much.
>>
>>53332446
Sweet! Yeah looking at it, it seems like a lot more terrain than it used to be. So it used to be $50? Yeah it does seem like a better deal.

WTF GW, I was supposed to find a reason to go "AHA! The Jew-W strikes again!"
>>
>>53332455
That was my general thought. When people are fighting 1v1 acting as individual units the better damage seems pretty valuable.
>>
>>53332480
It's Likely a part of roundtree's ongoing scheme to "Decrease" prices by giving you more bang for your buck. Prices still go up, but instead of 10 minis for $30, you're getting 20 for $50
The new shit is exempt on the "Jesus fuck injection molds are expensive" rule.
>>
>>53332516
Yeah we are seeing more of it. It's a good compromise really. We wish they could drop the prices of kits, but they cant because it appears to be weakness to shareholders, so they at least provide more value. Based roundtree
>>
>>53332553
New kits will stay expensive though. since they have to recoup costs for those expensive ass molds
>>
>>53332493
There's like a not that bad chance for a 1 point charging plague monk to kill a 8 point retributor. That's pretty damn good. 5 Squads of 4 should be really effective.
>>
>>53332586
Not necessarily. We saw them do it with the stormcast eternals liberators and judicators kits. They were $50 for 5 models each, then when they got their latest battletome they went to $65 for 10 models each.

I am expecting something similar happening, to for example, putrid blightkings. The kit right now is 5 for $50. I can see it moving to 10 for $65 or even $75
>>
>>53332621
You can only use each warscroll once, so that would actually be 1 unit of 20.

Not that it makes a difference since each model is treated as an individual unit.
>>
>>53332685
Yeah I mean have them move around in b2b with each other on the table.
>>
>>53332694
Oh, okay.
>>
>>53316887
that is fucking awesome
>>
>>53330072
>We will a Nurgle battletome around the same time as Death Guard, it's pretty much a certainty

And that'll probably be Codex #2 given that they're the "Gets beat up by Ultras" in the new box game.
>>

How do I get these links in general to work on my android?
None of the mega work no matter what I do. Where's a pdf of the general handbook?
>>
>>53332624
To be honest, Stormcast moulds have probably paid for themselves by now.
>>
So Skirmish and Shadespire aren't the same thing? So GW is making two Age of Sigmar-related single unit/warband based games?

Great. I'm sure no one else will be confused.
>>
>>53334172
Isn't shadespire played on a board?
>>
>>53330262
I really hope they will have lists for Wanderer. But knowing GW the Order section will be SC, Naked Dorfs, Steampunk Dorfs, Lizards and that is it.
>>
>>53334210
Yes, and it seems to be GW's answer to X-Wing with card mechanics, snap-fit coloured models and a hex board.

Pretty different to the skirmish game. I'm not interested in Shadespire but official skirmish rules are right up my street, now I can play smaller-scale games in my local GW without having to convince the manager that Hinterlands is fine.
>>
>>53334226
I'm sure they'll get like 3 units to choose from.
>>
>>53334226
For stormcast alone there is in their warband box set: Retributors, Liberators, Knight Questor, Prosecutors (javelins or hammers)

Stormcast are the only order army with a warband box so far. I'm amazed there's no Vanguard-Raptors in there. Hopefully you just outright can't take them, since they'd be as OP as all shit.
>>
>>53334256
>>53334210
>>53334172
Shadespire is a boardgame with lots of planned expansions.

Skirmish is just an AoS supplement
>>
Where are people getting this cap of 20 from? The rules that you can read on the preview have a minimum, but no hard cap. On the stream they said the warbands were 5-20, but that's probably a generalization since you can read in the pic that the minimum is 3... is there more solid information out there somewhere?
>>
>>53335108
In the stream they talked about it being 5-20 models. There doesn't seem to actually be a cap though.
>>
What /tg/ thinks GW is gonna give first: Nurgle battletome or Soulblight?
>>
>>53335242
Nurgle. Because 40k will be getting new shit with the release of 8th, which is the primaris marines, and death guard, which will have some demons likely meant to be usable for both AoS and 40k, and when that happens, they will do a battletome for nurgle incl both demons and mortals updates.
>>
>>53335242
>Death getting another battletome when there's only 5 chaos ones
you're funny. Chaos need 4 more battletomes first.
>>
The description of the skirmish campaign of being designed for only 2 players and being completely linear sounds extremely fucking dumb and totally counter to how people normally play skirmish game campaigns and matched play does not seem like a substitute for a proper campaign system either.

I guess we'll have to wait and see how it actually is.
>>
>>53335397
Just wait for the hinterlands guy to refine and mod it.
>>
Running a demo game tomorrow and need some help making two evenly balanced armies. We will be using proxies so really anything goes. I have already tested out a Nurgle chaos army vs. Lizardmen and the lizards got smashed so I am concerned. Do to me being new to the game I am worried I will create a bad experience.
>>
>Not playing Daemons
it's like you want to wake up one day and find out you've been squatted.
>>
>>53314426
Once you include Gore Pilgrims as part of the Battalion, you have to take two other battalions as part of the Goretide.

You can include the Bloodsecrator as an individual unit in the battalion, and/or you can take the Gore Pilgrims *outside* of the Goretide.

There is a qualification of taking "other Khorne Bloodbound battalions" but that means if you've already maxed out the listed Battalions OR youre taking Battalions from the Bloodbound book that didnt make it into Blades of Khorne.

Oh so you're literally twelve. You're lucky, you should be glad your parents are allowing you to self develop through a hobby that takes patience and concerntration. Unfortunately the only family member I had that got it passed not long after buying me my first few boxes.

One day, when you're a little bit older though, you'll see your list is wrong.

I'd say the new start collecting boxes are worth it if you were going to buy certain units anyway.

Like if you were planning on buying Wrathmongers or Brutes you may as well buy this box and get some other dudes and a character functionally for free.

As usual online retailers make it a better deal, UK ones already have the new skirmish start collecting boxes for £30 so it's actually £4.50 cheaper than buying the Wrathmongers separately from GW.
>>

This. Hell, the new Khorne set is basically a jumpstarter for getting Goretide going.
