Jumpers! We've all dabbled in magics and sciences. We've all let our creativity run too far. So, what's your worst mistake? What's the creation you genuinely regret.

Jumpers! Tell me your tales of creation.

Early in my chain I made magic honeybees. At first everything went perfectly as they made honey all the time and were much hardier against usual bee killers.

Then in the real world I wondered what would happen if they interbreed with normal bees. After a bit of research, I learned how the africanized killer honeybee came into existence.

The logical conclusion: Magicly strong killer bees.

Thus yes, >>57955413

I taught Mae Borowski how to perform Alchemy, how to Dreamwalk efficiently, and some of the Eldritch Truth.

I left her in charge of a Pharmaceutical company that's secretly a front for investigating the eldritch and paranormal. I have no idea how that'll turn out in the end
>>
>>57955477
Took the bionicle jump and stole the mask of dimensional gates so that I could easily deal with uberpowered antagonists by throwing them into a dimension of just endless shadows.

Took the X-men jump with that one drawback that makes you face all the classic antagonists. Threw a couple of them in there.

Later went on to undertale with the drawback that makes you kill Papyrus (I think?) before you go in the setting. Figure, no big, I'll throw him in the shadow dimension and drag him out one second before I leave. No one has to die for this.

But just as I threw him in, the dark phoenix came out, having had a good while to stew in her anger. I basically hid, and she burned the world in frustration. So much for that pacifist run...

What are the best perks/items to take as Undivided in Chaos Warriors to make our opponent in the scenario start bitching about how unfair the fight is?

Daemon weapon is one.
>>
>>57955802
VA-11 HALL-A has that kind of feeling. The dystopian cyberpunk city it set in is in civil unrest, the majority of leaders and police are corrupt, and price inflation means making ends meet is difficult. On the other hand we see it through the life of an employed bartender and all the colorful people she meets.

Most Zelda games, though prolly Breath of the Wild is the most noticeable one. The civilization's a bit fucked, but people live on in spite of it all.

Monster Hunter is full of monster that breed fast, hit hard, and are even harder to kill; but people fight back to the point that monster hunting is a job.

There are definitely more, but I cant think of any.

Chaos Plate, if you import something ridiculous.

Plague Squall should be fun too. Even if it doesn't take him out, it'll still be terrible for him.

And the Wings Mutation might make you completely untouchable, since his forces don't have ranged weapons. Add a Collar of Khorne too, if he is or has a sorcerer.

Or go Arch-Sorcerer, take the Talisman of Tzeentch, and just keep dumping all the magical energy you can into the talisman before the scenario starts. Then start throwing around loads of overcharged spells.

Or just grab the The Ineluctable Standard, and watch most of his army surrender immediately.

Fisherman's Horizon in FF8 is comfy as fuck in a world on the brink of a monster apolocalypse led by a Time-Space Witch from the distant future even as she sows seeds of war between the nations of the world. It's a town of pacifists and it does get rolled over sadly, but hey, maybe Jumper can stop that from happening.

Gran Pulse in FFXIII is surprisingly comfy in that untamed wilderness way even if it's like Super Australia.

KonoSuba as well. No, seriously, the Capital of the Kingdom that the MC and Party are located in is under constant siege from the Demon King, on top of the various weapons invented by assorted madmen in the past just lying around the place, including a tribe of bioweapons.

Xianxia settings have comfy villages and/or wilderness retreats, in worlds that have god-like douche bag martial artists as heroes.

Sengoku Basara might count? I mean, if you can figure out a comfortable life without putting your guns on, then a comfy rural life somewhere far from the bullshit that is the battlefields of SB await.

Zombie Apocalypse IPs, if you can get your security and medical care sorted, then post-apocalyptic comfy awaits.

That's all I have from the top of my dome sadly, but hope it helped!
>>

That pic is pretty suitable.

I used Geneforge magic to engineer a species of horrifying basketball-sized jumping spiders that had a tendency to set up nests in secluded areas just out of sight and attack invading creatures by leaping directly at their face like some kind of nightmarish facehugger. They weren't poisonous or dangerous but they were horrifying.

I thought it'd be a funny joke. But nobody appreciated it too much.

Finally settled on the last Drop In perk for Kid Icarus. The first jumpable WIP of KI is now near.
Food Is Life [???]
Quite literally in fact. Eating food will now heal you of your injuries. The bigger and better cooked the meal, the more you will be healed. A full course meal, cooked and seasoned would most likely heal you back to near full health.

The food eaten must be what would normally be consumed by the body you are in. For instance an organic being would consume organic substances to heal, while a stone golem may eat rocks etc.
I've decided to hold off on EER until I finish KI as I'm working much faster for KI so should be finished soon, while I am struggling slightly with EER. With that in mind, I thought it best I finish KI so I can give EER my undivided attention.

I put that in specifically so that the perk couldn't just be abused like that. The way I envisioned it was that the food 'filled in' the injuries in a sense.

Full heal is not super rare ability. It's certainly nothing to sneeze at and basically free constant healing is great but if someone wanted to abuse this by finding way to eat rocks to get full heal, it would probably be easier to instead visit any rpg/magical world to pick up healing magic/potions.
I mentioned Ogre Kingdom but then I remembered that they can buy 'full heal on feeding' item already.

Don't worry, I've removed that restraint now. I suspect that reason I put that in was because I had seen quite a few complaints about power wanking recently and that got to me slightly. The golden light piering the heavens turned a pale silver rimmed with blue, as Brunestud's castle rose up around it, filling with Avalon's verdant paradise. I hammered at the nearest emergency access console furiously, stabilising the spiritron terraforming coefficient to an acceptable level.

I waved at the Fighting Literature Club members as they showed up. And then punching in a few more commands to ECLIPSE, time dilated around the dupe machine, spitting out Natsuki, human incarnations of the Nine and-wait, who are you?

"I'm just an extra dupe! Definitely not someone coming to check in on you after you borked time and space a little! Again!"

...right. Sure you are.

The visual novel characters were thrilled to be out of their visual novel, and started rolling around in the grass. The goddesses marveled at ECLIPSE's construction, and gawked at the unfamiliar space still visible outside the Reality Marble's boundaries.

And I? I had some stuff I wanted to do, but I mean-the rest of the asteroid was just so UGH to look at, we spent many cycles drinking, gaming and partying. Once I made a hat big enough to make the Paragon wear, and we all laughed ourselves silly at it.

Many parties later, I found Monika admiring the view from one of ECLIPSE's floating balconeys. Far out in space, the ambient Marble Phantasm had constructed and maintained several small celestial bodies made entirely of the resources found on this asteroid-and periodically harvesting them in rivers. Here, a streak of oxylite drifted down from the ring surrounding the abyssalite moon. There, a solid cube of neutronium drifted stately towards it's depot.

"It's beautiful" she said, softly. I asked her how she was enjoying her first few days of henching. She laughed, and admitted she was getting kind of restless for something to do. That made two of us.

It took time to find a distributor who didn't hang up his comms laughing when we told him we could produce limitless neutronium. But once we did, we racked in profit like crazy. Later, I heard we ended up being so profitable we'd sparked a debate over dupe right elsewhere in the spaceways, but that was important. The world was quiet here, and it was nice for it to stay that way.

Later, Monika was watching me draft some legal documents, having settled into a secretarial position by way of everyone else being far more interested in Dance Dance Revolution than running the moon. "What's that?"

Why, the deeds to this world's branch of MoonCorp™ of course!

"But we'll be moving on soon, won't we?"

Do you want to? The question floored her. I knew this wasn't the sort of thing anyone wanted to talk about right after escaping ego death and landing in a lunar Eden.

Look, I admitted, as you probably remember I'm a dick. A real ends equal means kind of guy. The systems of my Benefactor are weaker here (I thought back to the Choir sadly, returned to service in the Imperium), and if you don't want to. If you hate my guts, but you don't think you can say that without getting hurt I'll just tell you flat out.

If you want to, you can choose to stay.

(Cont'd)
>>
>>57957775
"So...you DON'T hate me?"

Okay, DEFINITELY for real this time, because there's nothing urgent going on at the moment? I've rolled with worse, but you looked all conked out and you couldn't have escaped your collapsing reality if you didn't have a reason to.

"How can you even say that?!" she yelled, fists balled. "I...you! Well, you're right about one thing! I don't understand you at all. You haven't done any fighting since we got here! Was everything you said about, reaching heaven through violence and stuff just, something you made up?!"

Oh. You're still hung up about THAT? Well...mostly. I mean, I needed you guys to get motivated enough to escape the world. Like I said, ends gotta meet means. But for real, this is like a lazy Sunday for me. I fight way more dangerous things all the time than just reality collapsing on my head,

"O-oh. Well, I really resent that, I mean, floating around in a black void of pixels I don't really have much to do other than philosophise..."

Oh, philosophy is it? Well, lemme just show you something cool. It should either make this deal for you, or break it.

And tapping a console, I brought up mortal-friendly recordings of all the absolute truths in the multiverse I'd found in all my travels. There was a picture of the Boundary, and next to it one of the Root for comparison. There was a selfie with Aslan, another with Gautama Buddha, and yet another with YHVH in the Sea of Amala. There was even a very, very blurry snapshot of the Nuclear Chaos nightmare I'd been tricked into running towards that one time.

Anyway, the point I'm making is: If I've learned anything travelling the universe, it's that what you have for breakfast tomorrow matters more than why you're here. Absolute truths are a dime a dozen, and philosophy's for people who don't get to see them up close.

"Wow. Yeah, I've definitely made my decision". Excellent! Enjoy your new life, I'll just finish drafting these documents and then you and I can-

"No, no! I mean I'm coming with you!"

...what? WHY?

"Because nobody's ever done this much for me, and you've lived through more than I can imagine! If I can do anything for you in return and, and if you don't actually hate me maybe I can get you to like me!"

I'm a polygamous harem keeper!

"We can make it work!"

I'm obsessive, vengeful, manipulative and stubborn!

"See? We already have so much in common!"

I'm in too deep with this big, stupid cosmic feud I'm constantly losing my mind over!

"Ha! That's what she said!"

And that's when I knew she was a keeper. Dammit, you win, I'm only technically a deity at the moment anyway. Oh shit, the companion stasis thing didn't suck too much did it?

"The what now? I remember feeling very peaceful after going through the door for a second. Felt a lot like falling asleep here, actually, it's nice to just rest without the noise. What is this thing anyway?"

Huh. And it's an anti-chair superweapon. Long story.

"Yeah, I can tell! But no, I actually meant that thing in that video. The green and white swirly one" she added, pointing at one of the recorded absolute truths. It seemed to be some sort of spiral, but behind it was a...stickman with white eyes? What WAS that, I couldn't remember it at all but it seemed-

"Hey" said J, bustling up with a wheelbarrow full of rocks, "the new dupes are forming a union. You wanna go talk to them about why Big Neutronium's gotta keep on chugging?"

Bah. It probably wasn't important.

Nyarlathotep, as I would've been Monika about in a halfheated attempt to scare her off, is my main one. Just this cosmic asshole that saw me in Ravenloft, and started showing up in the drawbacks and the like to ruin everything for everyone. After a while I figured out most of the time, it was just a single mask of itself-if even that-I was dealing with, and also just how many places it had been to. And so began an endless journey to find something, anything, to give the true Crawling Chaos what for.

Also Niardi showed up in both Blame! and Biomega. Turns out during the overloaded metastasis event, she'd fallen into an alternate Undertale timeline called Murdertale and came out posessed by Chara.

>>57955479
Crocodogs and sharkdogs. They're just so, so useless for their intended purpose. I'm grateful I avoided the atrocity that is pugs, but a bioweapon that keeps rolling over for tummy rubs and fetching the paper is not a good soldier.

At least after my companions forced me to keep the data for them, I was able to salvage it to invent the Clouddogs in Undertale.

Besides good aim, you'll need some method for detecting things that are invisible. If you don't have anything already, you'll probably want to pick up the Telegnosis Perk from the Jump itself. Aside from that, you can probably manage, although it'll be a scary few years. Heavens Smiles can pop up anywhere, with most of the stages in the game being regular Commercial or Residential areas.

Well, the good news is that Harman (who basically has all the Assassins perks, and as you can tell is the inspiration for Demi-God being fully divine) fends off the worst of the worst Heaven's Smiles out there with mostly shooting skills. But like, really, really fucking good shooting skills. You definitely have a chance, just...think John Woo and Annie Oakley's lovechild on crack's levels of gunmanship.

Most of the other backgrounds could probably survive too, as long as they stay out of the struggle between east and west. I'd say the most dangerous one is Heaven's Smile simply because everyone would want to shoot you on sight, or call Harman's crew to do it.

/jc/, is there anything more efficient or powerful than having eight companions and importing them every jump?
I'm asking because I'm doing a sidechain where Jumper is supposed to be a villain and his character is basically "sociopathic powerwanker" and I just realized how powerful the full companion import option is.
>>
>>57958664
There’s like a 7 year age gap between Norn/Aisha & Rudi. Jumper it would only be a 4 year age gap between Rudi & Jumper, 3 year age gap between Jumper & Norn/Aisha. It wouldn’t be weird for a middle child to be born.

Yes. Power copying is more efficient and more powerful for everything except things you believe you absolutely need fiat for, like one-ups.
>>
>>57958945
No, it's a pretty strong force multiplier. It's almost always ideal to import companions as often as possible. But hey, you can be a big sociopathic powerwanker this way, too. Just remember that no matter what the magical girls try to tell you, the real power of friendship is being able to gang up on your enemies nine on one.
>>
>>57958564
Red did Reborn? I thought it was someone else entirely.
>>
>>57959022
Just remember that having nine people able to duplicate themselves (shadow clones, duplication, cloning, etc.) and mind control bystanders is an even better demonstration of the power of Friendship.

Two miles from the city, I stowed my wings and turned to my fellow flyer. Though I had found her many squirrels in the gloaming, she was still hungry. Hungry, for justice. Go back, she seemed to whisper, go back and fulfil your manifest destiny. Only you can save America

Hell to it, what did I have to lose anyway?

I didn't bother responding to the Crips or Mafiosos or whoevers' demands for whose side I was on. For just one night, I was one the side of Freedom. Me, of all people in the multiverse. What a world. Wherever I flew, I saw anti-Purge rebels cheering and pumping their fists at the air. If I was ever unsure about my cause tonight, my decision was made when I didn't just find a pair of shades in my armoury.

I found a pair of smaller, eagle-size shades. Aww yeah.

We spent the night dive-bombing all the biggest guys in masks I could spot, ducking in alley, flying up into the sky and repeating the process somewhere else like an ADD child playing Arkham City. Here and there bullets clipped me, but I wasn't winged. By the time i'd heard enough on the radio to figure out where the Founding Fathers were living, so had the anti-Purge mob edging around the 6-way turf war to besiege their fortified cathedral. Which held against almost everything.

Except a flying tackle through the window by a man-sized projectile going almost as fast as his eagle sidekick. Pity about the broken bones, but hey: It was a small price to pay for the joy of beating politicians up with other politicians as improvised weapons.

...I MAY have gone a little unhinged in Tsukihime. So I had the chair hating drawback, right? And the other drawback which gave me a proclivity to murder, and Crimson Moon whispering sweet nothing into my subconciousness, and also unresolved survivor's guilt PTSD from Ravenloft.

The point is: By trying to spread out my insanity through multiple consciousnesses, I somehow gave myself an irrational hate for chairs. It wouldn't be enough to just break every chair in sight, NO I had to wipe out the very concept of chairs from the planet by making it so people could stand up forever

So, I set about building a TRI-HERMES knockoff. But not just any old bargain bin Chaldea motherboard: I stole Grey's Rhongo to use as a capacitor. I took over the entire local Nevernever, and plumbed it for energy to grow and reinforce the Milennium Castle. I used my Counter Force connection, FMA alchemy, my mastery of wizardry and an analysis of Arc to recreate an ideal True Ancestor body-and through it reincarnate Crimson Moon but even more powerful: For I had used the Staff of Magnus to siphon energy from the Eye of Magnus, Lorkhan's heart and the Avalons from many universes to create an inner world superior to a Reality Marble. I even used Life Giant to create a tentacle hivemind conduit for the system, like the Moon Cell's photonic crystals. It was going to be like if the Numidium had a baby with the Gauna, which was raised by Eva Unit-01.

I had to do this behind closed doors and with Evanescence/Linkin Park/Three Doors Down turned all the way up constantly, so everyone would think I was just being emo. Which I was, technically.

I mean, I was literally destroying my body over and over again for a chance at wiping out all chairs forever in one decisive blow. It seemed quite logical at the time.

Anyway the whole Zero Chair Plan thing fell through because Nyarlathotep stole The Dark Six's body which I needed to finish it, but that's another story.

I have, yes. It really depends on the person. Like, you have these death gods who just kinda do their job, and then you have death gods who actually hate life. The latter type... don't really get along with me. At all.

But I get along pretty well with people like Death of the Endless in DC (not a goddess technically, but close enough). There just seem to be more gods of death or grim reapers than goddesses of that domain...

One of my old chains ended because the Jumper decided mixing food and magic to make a variety of insane weapons was a great idea. They had Assassin Jell-o that would cover a person's face and asphyxiate them, Killer Hot Sauce that could eat through steel, and Mimic Bread that was really just a sentient bear trap that looked like bread. Along with hundreds more.

The end came for him when he introduced Anger Steak into the mix. It was literally a steak made of a slice of pure anger that was supposed to cause a person to literally rage themselves to death. Tasted delicious. A little chewy unless you cooked it just right. But anyways, Anger Steak ended up eating all the other left-overs in the fridge and grew into a horrifying conglomeration of magic and food and mold.

Think of that thing living in the fridge on Cowboy Bebop, but able to shoot lightning and nothingness.

So yeah, it found Jumper asleep in his warehouse, blew a hole in his wards, and then his head. Jumper barely woke up in time to see death coming.

Food!Jumper was an insane bastard.

What can I say? I think something about my self-preservation is busted.

>have ya got horns?
On occasion. They can get bothersome with doorways, but they do look stylish. Usually I combine it with a nice halo to give more of a divine effect.

>oh also I'm thinking about getting into godhood. how do you deal with worshipers and such? seems like a bother.
Well... It's a good idea to make sure your worshippers don't misunderstand your tenets/goals? Like, when I first started, there was this group of guys who proclaimed themselves my priests and decided that the best way to worship me was going around picking up random girls in bars. By proclaiming that it was my will they sleep with them. Dumbasses.

In any case. I take a pretty hands-off approach in godhood. Mostly I just spread knowledge of myself with the occasional miracle, and then start answering prayers.

I've got a relatively small religion set up to follow me, but they also mostly govern themselves. Stargate Atlantis has the very nice We're Not There Yet perk, to keep them mostly on the right track.

It helps that my purview is pretty well-defined, so most worshippers know /exactly/ what they're praying for. Generally I just have to make sure not to go overboard... Giving a farmer a helping hand with his harvest is all well and good, but boosting it to the point he can't keep up causes problems. Ditto with blessing his wife with fecundity.

[Love is a Battlefield]

On the Doorstep

Drawback: In the highest room of the tallest tower... (100)

Rivals: The Colorful Knights, The Shining Knight, The Forgotten Princess, The Golem Knight (400)

Alchemy (250)
Red potion (200)
Jelly Beans (150)
Exit Mouse (100)
Thunder Staff (0)

The rivals watch me as I unfurl my wings. They laugh nervously, as I adjusted the straps on an abandoned pack I'd found. As in defiance of aerodynamics I gracefully flew off, one of them said "Fuck this".

Some of the towers had high windows. Some didn't. Actually it's kinda unclear from the text. Either way, the ol' Rolling Thunder strategy I'd honed for urban warfare didn't let me down. Well, mostly. The tree tower was so tricky I resorted to blind firing while inching through the wake. Or just flew through a gap in the trees near the top.

There wasn't a lot of conversation, and I didn't need favors. I'd get in, pick up the princess and flay back to mother base with her. I liked the lamia, succubus, medusa, oni and displacer though. It's just hard to make smalltalk and eyeball the airspeed velocity of a laden Jumper at the sametime.

All the same, I did appreciate the effort. Especially oni princess, who was a good sport about flying even though she was wearing so little. And lamia princess, who discovered she was afraid of heights in the hardest way possible.

(Cont'd)
>>
>>57961939
I also made smalltalk with the dragon. At first, she just yelled at me to stop breaking the rules. Then she started reluctantly asking questions about my more outrageous adventures, like the time I saved Christmas by ruining Easter. As princess after princess enjoyed an exhilaring flight, I finally goaded her into a spirited criticism of my flight techniques, which led to grumblings about the true nature of her employment, which led to me talking about how useful dragon breath could be in a country undergoing an industrial revolution if she knew any tinker friends. When the last princess was recued, I found no dragon but a note thanking me for the career advice.

I asked the kings of any of them were aware my employment was an endless journey between fictional worlds, during which I had done battle with beings powerful enough to shit millions of beings more powerful than that dragon. Did they think it was a safe place to send their daughters to? They did not, and there was a lot of embarrassed coughing and mumbling that the court wizard really hadn't done their homework this time round. I settled for signing some trade agreements (particularly onse with clauses that gave me a very, very wide operational discretion in the more prosperous kingdoms), and taking up the royal tour offer instead.

Then I found the dragon working with some gnomes, dropped by to share my expertise and reinvented the steam engine. By the end of the decade, the Seluth & Jumper Inter-Kingdom Trading Company had become the unspoken power behind every throne, the proud provider of washing machines to every household and the joint owner of a hoard so big we could employ other dragons below minimum wage just for the privilege of being able to roll around in it's smaller foothills.

Every inaugural opening feast for our new holdings, I'd invite my favorite princesses to attend a banquet catered by yours truly as well as the best chefs in all the land.

And there was much rejoicing.

Final question before I go to sleep: having a bit of trouble, which of these should be the 600CP perk and which the 400CP perk? (Kid Icarus Jump) I was thinking Chaotic Control, but am not 100%.

>Hewdraw Head [400/600?]
>Ever hear the phrase ‘Cut off the head and the body shall follow’? That doesn’t work so well for you now. Cutting off your head will only be a minor inconvenience as you can get on fine without the rest of your body. As long as your brain is intact and you have energy to spare, you can start rebuilding your body. It may take awhile for you to regrow your body, but by no means are you down for the count.

>Chaotic Control [400/600?]
>You can act as a parasite, possessing a person's body, even a gods, and slowly consuming their soul. While possessing someone you may use their power as your own, though once you leave you will not retain that power. The stronger the soul the longer it will take to digest; a god could last 3 years of parasitism and come out relatively intact.

Always good to stack regeneration.

>aw man I have to come up with tenets? and goals too?
I mean, if you want your religion to do more than just praise you, kinda yes? That's not to say you really /have/ to though... if you go with the capricous/incomprehensible god idea, then it would actually make sense if you don't.

That said, being a titan or force of nature is a respectable choice too though.

>what are your tenets btw?
Mostly the general "don't be a dick" stuff, as well as a commandment to go forth and multiply (within reason, don't need them to starve from food shortages), to help and take care of children in need (as well as pregnant people/animals), and disapproval of destroying forests and other places of nature (without just cause).

>and do you fit yourself into pantheons or just stay your own religion?
It depends on the pantheon. Usually I just stay my own religion, but occasionally there's a pantheon that aligns enough with me to join them?

Like, in Forgotten Realms I told all the native gods to piss off, but in Okami I was perfectly happy to be considered one of the many Shinto gods (Ammy is best), and in Marvel comics I didn't /officially/ join the Asgardians but did bro up with Thor for a while.

Mostly, just to make sure their worshippers are relatively alright (don't want to have that awkward moment when all your followers are dead or have left for another religion), and that their domain doesn't go down the drain or run out of control.

The rest is pretty optional, though I like to answer the prayers made in good faith and have been moving into the afterlife business as of late.

>also have ya got a harem?
...Was there ever any doubt, with a domain like this? But yes, a whole bunch of companions (including larger groups like the small army of Sisters of Battle), and I tend to just... attract more of them every jump, considering my harem perks. Though those usually don't end up as companions (it's pretty much 50/50 on whether they end up becoming priestesses).

That might be harder than you think anon. . . First you'll have to fight through Kislev, then most of the Empire, then all of Bretonnia will join in to make sure the invasion stops before reaching their lands (that means grail knights), and the Dwarves will almost certainly join in to kick your ass.

Killing Karl Franz basically means fighting most of the Old World's nations just to get to him, then you need to deal with the bastard himself who has some of the best magical equipment in the setting including the founding god of the Empire's personal weapon. You also need to pray he's only riding his massive fuck off Griffon Deathclaw instead of the Imperial dragon.

The fight against Franz himself is definitely doable if you spec for combat, take a daemon weapon, and possibly a chaos dragon but the sheer amount of bullshit you'd have to go through to reach him might require OOC jumper bullshit.

Waging war on the southerners is always a good idea if you can actually gather enough warriors to your banner, killing off other chaos worshipers is often a good way to impress them too.

The best way however is to simply act like a complete degenerate in the manner most appealing to the god whose attention you're seeking. This does require a truly special level of degeneracy which is saying something in this universe.

Diebuster just came out, with New Age of Light. Gives you knowledge of the entire techbase of humanity in the Aim For The Top universe, throughout their entire history. Which is...considerable. You see that stuff in the description for the Busty Babe perk? That's based on the capabilities of Nono, aka Buster Machine 7, aka the least powerful of the first-generation autonomous Buster Machines. The Terran Imperium had some fucking terrifying technology. They used infinite energy singularity reactors, could travel faster than light with nothing but pure mathematics, and generally thought of space and time as suggestions rather than rules. All in a package no larger than that of a human teenager.
>>
>>57963661
It might be SB tier if the setting was not changed enough in the fanfic.
>>
>>57963661
Depends on how much the fanfic changes the setting and tone of the story.
>>
>>57963683
And just like that I want to make myself a Busty Babe with that New Age of Light perk. If only so I can wank myself as being the last bastion of knowledge that was hidden away for the future of humanity.

>>
>>57963867
Yeah. There were four autonomous Buster Machines, Nono was the weakest of them. Granted, she's not the weakest by much, and she's still many orders of magnitude above every other Buster Machine except for Buster Machine 3 (though given that she destroyed the singularity produced by it, maybe not...), but she wasn't the peak of Terran Imperium technology.

Well, New Age of Light lets you make more and better than a single Buster Machine, so if you're willing to put up with a time delay you can get some really nice stuff. Canon Companion lets you companion Nono, who is the Busty Babe and therefore the same level of power for much cheaper, if not wielded directly by you, and also a cute girl so hey there's that. Eternal Topless can get much stronger than it, if you want personal power, the Excelio Variable Gravity Well is explicitly far too strong for Nono to beat even with the entire Diebuster super-Buster Machine gestalt. And a Buster Machine plus Groovin Magic can exceed even that, if you can get to the proper heights of determination, as seen from the Inazuma Double Kick that defeated the Excelio Variable Gravity Well. Busty babe offers personal power, immediately, and reliably. But if you're willing to compromise on any of those points you can get far more overall power.

Quicksilver, who made the supplement. I remember him saying so because someone asked this very same question, but it was literally maybe three years ago.

I'm hammering in word searches in 4plebs to look for the post, but it's pretty hard since it's so far back and I don't remember any of the wording.
Most of the posts I'm getting by searching his name and "Warehouse" or "Electricity" are just him talking about stasis pods, telling people you don't retain CP between jumps, and telling people things like the medbay and workshop aren't supposed to be end-all besties but are rather meant to be a leg up booster for when you're just starting out. Over and over again. I think people tended to ask him the same questions repeatedly.

Anyway I remember him saying something to the effect of it's like a household wall socket, but if I don't find the post I guess you can just assume you're jacking directly into the death star and getting infinite power forever to power all your shit because fuck me.

I swear to god I remember it though, and now it's really going to bug me if I can't find it.

Well, not too bad. Tolerable for a preview.

>>57965471
That's actually what passes for Staves in that world. They're general crafted from crystals and monster parts, so they look a little weird.

As for the classes, there's seven more to go and they cover a lot of ground. Edgelords and healers, brawlers and necromancers. There'll be something for everyone no matter your style.

There definitely is. Of course the jump doesn't actually make use of almost any of it, given that it's just an excuse to get all the powers the maker wants. It's one of the more pathetic generics, purely for the fact that it was explicitly made for powerwanking. The creator immediately began to brag about how strong he was with powers from his own jump in other settings after making it.
>>
How dangerous is The Circumstances Leading to Waltraute’s Marriage? Anything major to watch out for?
>>
>>57955477
Sort of. At first we thought it was just something watching us, curious. By this point I was already beginning to be partially a proper metamultiversal being, in the sense of having myself _begun) established some very limited links to worlds (as in jumps) I've been to, building up small pocket worlds linked to me as experiments, etc. Those links were in a sense extensions of myself.

Then, between worlds, we were attacked. We as in both me, and, unexpectedly, Jumpchan, from a direction orthognonal to anything I expected, through those links and beyond. Still not yet fully sure _WHAT_ came after us, but we sort of had to condense and hide ourselves, together building up a hidden pocket universe to attach those parts of us that were more networks of links between worlds too, and quickly drop into the nearest world we could hide in while trying to recover.

(Which happened to be Dragon Maid, incidentally. No CP, nothing like that, just both of us dropping into that world while trying to recover from more damage and vulnerability than I think either of us had experienced in a very long time.)

Instead of blood, you have a liquid that solidifies into bone on contact with air. Stronger that normal Blood Manipulation, but also less fluid.

Alternatively, you can liquefy, solidify, and manipulate your own bones at will. Your bones are also a lot more dense than they appear, to give you more mass to work with. Take all the bones out of your arm, leaving it a floppy tube of skin and muscle, to make a giant bone spear that you can manipulate telepathically. Unfortunately, you're kind of fucked if you lose too much bone mass, since you kind of need your bones.

It's an imageboard. People make posts and sometimes they come with images, and anyone who doesn't explicitely add a name in the name category is Anonymous. Most people don't add names, and enjoy simply being anonymous. Names are generally only used when you have some reason that you need to apply an identifier to, such as being the creator of something relevant to the current discussion, for instance in the current thread, jumps or builds.

Due to the nature of anonymity and the Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory, we at 4chan are a salty lot and prone to arguments and pettiness, but there is unique content to be found here if you're able to develop a thick enough skin to dig for it.

I am reluctant to say someone so new to 4chan, let alone Jumpchain, should be making jumps, if only due to our tendency to have authors drop shit off and then vanish forever after.
But if you really want to try, I don't think anyone will stop you.
Unless of course you turn out to be really bad at it. Then you'll get yelled at.

We don't like SB, due to a few of their louder members decrying everything about the way we do things, bitching, and a couple of their authors insistently trying to get their (poorly made) jumps on our drive.
We also bitch, but at least we're bitching together. SB is a completely separate bitch.

SB also focuses almost exclusively on gaining power, to the exclusion of all other factors, whereas we prefer a balance of power, setting representation, and waifus.
So generally we find them annoying and of poor quality.

I like anon's post here >>57965973 since the emphasis on bones is cooler than blood.

I suppose if I had to make my own guesses on how it might work from the other angle, then it would be Blood Drills. It's something a bit in the middle in that you could make more blood at a whim to fabricate coagulated blood constructs, but like Bone Drill you're limited in how much you can make before it begins to deteriorate, making it better with focus rather than spam.

You might need to open a tiny cut to supply it, but the bone drills could be commanded through the air like Blood Manipulation rather than needing to stay strictly attached to you.

>>57966067
Maybe it's primarily like Blood Knight, but as it spreads and crystallizes, you can manipulate the hardened structure in order to refine or transform the armor into something more well suited to the current situation. The utility is still roughly based on your own battle damage since you're reliant on hardened blood armor, but once it forms you could turn it into plates, mesh, spikes, blades and such.

The trick with this one is that you can't manipulate blood in its liquid state like blood manipulation, all the control is focused on the manifested armor.

Much faster information gathering, and more varied information collection, I imagine. If the current form of diagnosis could be compared to highly detailed medical records continuously updating as you watched the target, Tier 3 might include statistical information as well.

How many pounds per square inch a certain bone may withstand before bruising or breaking. The sensitivity of different patches of skin to heat, cold, pain, abrasion, and such. What types of antibiotics and drugs the target body can withstand based on what medicines you're aware of. Tier 2 gives you current status, Tier 3 might help figure out how to alter and change that status. Treatments being included, basically.

Depends on whether or not you think it's better or worse than going builder and using Buildcraft/Railcraft/Industrialcraft/Gregtech and using the machines (or alternatively, whatever you can bring with you) to harvest or replicate materials. Lore of Alex is pretty cheap so unless you're planning on taking Thaumcraft, soul shards or EE specifically you don't need mage. I know Minefactory goes into magic and is sorted as a sub-perk of Lore of Alex, but also prerequisites Buildcraft and Industrialcraft so I read it as being discounted for either Builder or Mage since all subperks are discounted as their parents

If you're not interested in TC or EE, redstone, glowstone and ender pearls are available in unlimited supply via items.
>>57967013
EE is generally a horribly balanced mod. It'd be good if you want to powergrab. But I've played with the rewrite of the mod and it's awful. It basically sucked all the difficulty out of everything. Literally turn items/sunlight into magic juice, magic juice into hard/impossible to craft shit. The self-destruct power is the most useful to me, but I can see where powered armor like that is useful. Actually Alchemy and transmutation sounds like it can be achieved elsewhere
>>57967048
I've never been a huge fan of Thaumcraft proper. I don't really know what all it's good for.because I found getting aspects and doing research to be tedious, and I also have no clue what the fuck to do with essentia and aspects, so I don't know what the end game is. I do however know all about IC2 and gregtech making fusion reactors, teleporters, replication and tech stuff. Gregtech has more machines but is much more autistic to play.

In all honesty, I buy most of the shit I need and then fluff in other mods that like and write about a modpack Witchery fucking when?

I also really like to get a hold of NEI cheat mode, but that shits expensive and I find it minimally useful for me.

He took that man's face, anon; it's scary stuff!

Well, if no one claims/does them by the time November/October rolls around I'll do them. I don't think anyone will, but the option's still there.

>Horror Anon
I can dig it.

Bullying ≠ Justice

>>57967259
Soon; the charger for my laptop was kill a couple of days ago and I just got a new one, so I'm hoping I'll get chapter 4 done over the weekend.

Red's a demon; they're not protected under the Anti-Bullying Act of 1786.

Builder works too, I suppose. I don't know anything about Thaumcraft or EE, so I guess I'll have to look into it myself or let you guys sell me on it besides that one armor.

N-nani?! Justiceanon was really Bullyanon the entire time?!

I just copy and pasted it.

Honestly, Thaumcraft shines most when it isn't combined with most other mods.
>Witchery
One of my other favorite mods.
In fact, my preferred gameplay modifications are Thaumcraft, Witchery, Ex Nihilo and Metallurgy.
>>
>>57967364
I really can't speak for Thaumcraft. My knowledge is limited and incomplete. EE is mostly as I said it was, it's a dumb "might as well play creative" mods that doesn't really have a lot of challenge or interesting content behind it, but it's good if you chose gregtech and didn't do Fullmetal Alchemist and lets you transmute shit into raw materials and into machine parts to alleviate microcrafting, example being iron or whatever into rare metals.

IC2 has the problem where it's Minecraft easy mode technology and that clashes with it in other worlds, whereas Gregtech overly complicates the game but automating production for non-minecraft tech is much easier. Gregtech also has the advantage of giving you a plethora of materials to work with, in case you need copious amounts of lead, silver, titanium, or whatever for magic.Your call on whether the complexity is worth the realism and integration.
>>57967399
My only experience with Thaumcraft is in modpacks since I know nothing about it and I'm just barely getting into it. I just plain don't understand it, I just hate doing research and scanning. I haven't even used the crucible yet since I'm too much of a brainlet to make it work properly. I want Witchery in since it's such a cool mod. I love the circle rituals, the infusions, conjurations covens, the brewing process Ironically it's probably similar to thaumcraft if I gave it the time and thought and all the cool little shit it adds. I'm looking for a decent gregtech skyblock mod, but that seems excessively grindy even by greg standards and undermines space travel which is something I'm liking in my current modpack. Reminds me of a funny exchange on the modpacks discord.

You only need to get high enough in that one jump. Your shit'll keep working post-jump regardless.
